As It Has Been So It Will Be Again

 Ecc 3:15Whatever is has already been,

and what will be has been before;

Ecc 1:9

What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.

Unfortunately this world thinks it is "smart" because it has the internet and indoor plumbing.  They actually think they can outsmart the Creator who created the design for all things before they were ever a twinkling in the mind of man.  

This ^^ brings us to today.  We now live in a world of complete oppression, wickedness, fraud, lies, deceit, murder, theft, idolatry etc etc that is blatantly out in the open.  They dont even bother to hide it anymore.  Now it is openly shoved in our face with an iron boot behind it to ram it down anyone's throat who does not wholeheartedly embrace it all.  Perhaps before we go into an exercise of wringing our hands and saying "woe is me" we should ponder how we got here.  How did the world arrive at this dystopian evil age? Its called rebellion against God.

Of course this would not be the first time this world or its people have rebelled against God which brings our verses from Ecclesiastes into focus.  What has been will be again or we could say is happening again because we are seeing a carbon copy repeat of this:

Isa 3:

1See now, the Lord,

the Lord Almighty,

is about to take from Jerusalem and Judah

both supply and support:

all supplies of food and all supplies of water,

2the hero and the warrior,

the judge and the prophet,

the diviner and the elder,

3the captain of fifty and the man of rank,

the counselor, skilled craftsman and clever enchanter.

4“I will make mere youths their officials;

children will rule over them.”

5People will oppress each other—

man against man, neighbor against neighbor.

The young will rise up against the old,

the nobody against the honored.

6A man will seize one of his brothers

in his father’s house, and say,

“You have a cloak, you be our leader;

take charge of this heap of ruins!”

7But in that day he will cry out,

“I have no remedy.

I have no food or clothing in my house;

do not make me the leader of the people.”

8Jerusalem staggers,

Judah is falling;

their words and deeds are against the Lord,

defying his glorious presence.

9The look on their faces testifies against them;

they parade their sin like Sodom;

they do not hide it.

Woe to them!

They have brought disaster upon themselves.

10Tell the righteous it will be well with them,

for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.

11Woe to the wicked!

Disaster is upon them!

They will be paid back

for what their hands have done.

12Youths oppress my people,

women rule over them.

My people, your guides lead you astray;

they turn you from the path.

13The Lord takes his place in court;

he rises to judge the people.

14The Lord enters into judgment

against the elders and leaders of his people:

“It is you who have ruined my vineyard;

the plunder from the poor is in your houses.

15What do you mean by crushing my people

and grinding the faces of the poor?”

declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.

16The Lord says,

“The women of Zion are haughty,

walking along with outstretched necks,

flirting with their eyes,

strutting along with swaying hips,

with ornaments jingling on their ankles.

17Therefore the Lord will bring sores on the heads of the women of Zion;

the Lord will make their scalps bald.”

18In that day the Lord will snatch away their finery: the bangles and headbands and crescent necklaces, 19the earrings and bracelets and veils, 20the headdresses and anklets and sashes, the perfume bottles and charms, 21the signet rings and nose rings, 22the fine robes and the capes and cloaks, the purses 23and mirrors, and the linen garments and tiaras and shawls.

24Instead of fragrance there will be a stench;

instead of a sash, a rope;

instead of well-dressed hair, baldness;

instead of fine clothing, sackcloth;

instead of beauty, branding.

25Your men will fall by the sword,

your warriors in battle.

26The gates of Zion will lament and mourn;

destitute, she will sit on the ground.

Sounds pretty bad right?  Lets keep it real here if the Lord's people were backslidden before and this is what happened do we expect a better result this time?  How many people had their faith in Trump to save them from the evil that has befallen this world?  Well, the Lord put Trump in, then took him right back out.  The full answer why will only be told in time however we know at least one piece of the story is timing which once again points back to Ecclesiastes:

Ecc 3:1

1There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under the heavens:

The Babylonians thought they had a fast track into their new world order and to all of our surprise the Lord God put the brakes on it for 4 years by installing the honey badger as president.  

Now with the latest Coup d'etat in America it appears the Babylonian World Order (BWO) is back on track.  The BWO however once again appears to be ahead of schedule.  They are trying to roll out their mark of the beast technology through vaccine mandates without which nobody will be able to buy or sell.  Their problem is a mark of the beast without the beast.  Anyone seen the anti-Christ running around the world scene yet?  If not, this mark of the beast mandate is a bit premature:

Rev 13:16

11Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. 12It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence,^c and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. 13It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people, 14and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of^d the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. 16Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave,^e to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.^f

So, no anti-Christ, no first beast, no second beast but they want to roll out their mark of the beast system now?  The Lord told us exactly what would happen, this should comfort us as well as cause us to look at current events with eyes wide open.  The enemy and his servants have been trying to install their BWO system for thousands of years with the first attempt being the tower of Babel.  How interesting that events wrap up where they started. 

We know what the Lord said would happen so we know the "what" is going to happen.  The million dollar questions for most people is "how" and "when?"  The Lord also told us patience would be required.  The same Lord God who brought about a honey badger brake on the BWO can do it again with a second term down the road or some other method we have no idea of at the moment.  The key is to take our eyes off of man and put our eyes back on the Lord God.  If we are going to be saved, spared, delivered etc it is going to come from the Lord, period.  This latest coup in America has shown the republican party to be just as wretched and traitorous as the democrats.  Babylon is not going to reform itself in the end times just like it did not reform itself in antiquity.  The Lord had to send the king of Persia in to wreck Babylon from the outside to accomplish what He wanted for His people.

So, to end on a positive note the Lord can and will send whoever and whatever is required to keep His timeline on track regardless of what the BWO crowd thinks they have accomplished.  The Lord also gave some positive news right there in the midst of the calamity of Isa 3:

10Tell the righteous it will be well with them,

for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.

11Woe to the wicked!

Disaster is upon them!

They will be paid back

for what their hands have done.

While we are speaking about good news.  This servant was impressed by the Lord recently over the never ending flow of bad news coming into us from this world.  We look at the world and its almost all bad news.  So perhaps we need to start getting our news from somewhere else right?  The best selling book in world history also known as your Bible literally has "the" good news in it.  If there is anything positive, noteworthy, beautiful, encouraging, worthy of praise in our future it is going to come from one place and that is the Lord our God.  In the larger scheme of things that is what all this drama is about anyway.  We are seeing the abject failure of this world and its systems as an example for eternity to look back on and say "that can never happen again."  Thus, the Lord God is proven right again with the need for "thy kingdom come, thy will be done" because that is the only thing that works.

So keep the faith and keep your attention focused on the good news that is not found in the world but in the Lord our God.   We also must remember that our Lord and Savior is coming back to this world on a day and hour that it does not expect.  We were told over and over again to watch for this unexpected coming:

Mark 13

32“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33Be on guard! Be alert ^e ! You do not know when that time will come. 34It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with their assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.

35“Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. 36If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. 37What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’ ”

Be on guard, be alert, WATCH.  How many people today willfully disregard this command.  They tell us not to bother watching because their man made doctrine tells them x, y and z are going to happen instead.  There are some things that are hard to understand in the Bible, this is not one of them.  The Lord was very clear, He is coming back unexpected and we are to be watching for this unexpected return.  Those who choose to disregard these commands do so at their own peril.

Matt 25

1“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

6“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

7“Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

9“ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

10“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

11“Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

12“But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

13“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

Luke 21:

34“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. 35For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

How many times does He have to tell us to watch?

Be encouraged, the Lord our God who loves us is in full control.  He is not deaf and He is not blind.  He heard our prayers and hears our prayers today and is working 24/7, 365 on answers in accordance with His good, pleasing and perfect will.

10Tell the righteous it will be well with them,

for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.

11Woe to the wicked!

Disaster is upon them!

They will be paid back

for what their hands have done.

The Long Game 2

 Yesterday we covered the idea of Moses being used outside of Egypts political system to set the Jews free from slavery inside the system.  Are there other examples of this?  Sure, how about Babylon?  Israel was captive in Babylon, did they "get involved" inside the Babylonian political systems to set themselves free from Babylon?  No, they did not nor did the Lord ever suggest that to Israel.  What happened?  The Lord sent Cyrus from Persia to set Israel free.  This event of sending Cyrus had absolutely zero to do with Israel getting involved with either Babylon's nor Persia's political leaders, the Lord Himself did it on Israel's behalf.  

Who in Israel knew that this was how Israel was going to be set free from Babylon and returned to their homeland?  Who in Israel sent letters to Cyrus asking him to do this?  Nobody.  This is the difference between man's thinking and the Lord.  His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

As things stand now Christians are captive to the Babylonian system.  We are all living behind enemy lines just as Israel was both in Egypt and in Babylon.  So once again, looking at the fraud and wickedness taking place thoughout the political systems especially in the west has nothing to do with if/when the Lord is answering the prayers of His people (us).  Trump or Biden winning a Babylonian election is irrelevant.  The only way Christians will get any relief from Babylon is if the Lord provides it.  

Where does our freedom come from?  The Lord.  Where does our peace come from?  The Lord.  Where does our provision, strength and guidance come from?  The Lord.  Case closed.  So for those people wringing their hands and thinking "woe is me" the Babylonian political system failed us, they need to snap out of it and look to the only source of relief which is the Lord our God.

The Long Game

 Well, it looks like wickedness won right?  One of the most crooked politicians in world history in one of the most fraudulent 'elections' is being sworn in today.  Maybe the Lord was busy with other things and didn't hear the cries of His people or see the fraud taking place as the NWO put another puppet in place in America?

Not quite.  The Lord plays the long, strategic game while we just see (barely) whats right in front of our face.  An example is the cross.  When our Lord died on the cross it sure looked like a dark day for our kingdom didn't it?  Evil "won" right?  Wrong.  What the enemy thought was his most spectacular victory ended up being one of the final nails in his coffin.

What else is going on?  Trump did not make America great again, he was just a doorstop in the timing of the Lord's plan.  This was outlined here before Trump took office 4 years ago.  What did Trump do?  He acted as the Lord's agent in the white house to perform a specific mission of the Lord's design, not his own.  As trump heads into civilian life the deep state, the wickedness and fraud that exists from top to bottom in America has been fully exposed.  Congress, the courts, the FBI, CIA, the supreme court and most notably 99% of the republican party have been exposed as utterly corrupt.  The short term installation of Trump forced the hand of the wicked to reveal themselves in a way that is likely to have long term consequences for them.

So they won a short term victory in a long term game called life on planet earth.  

What else?  One of the primary drivers that spurred Trump to run for office was attending the Obama dinner where Obama made fun of Trump to his face in front of a crowd.  That burned and motivated Trump to seek 'settlement.'  What just happened with the 'election' was extensive fraud that exposed every part of the deep state all the way up to and including Pence who liked to play the poster boy for wholesome goodness but sold Trump and the American people down the river when push came to shove.  So what happened again?  Trump knows he won and should be president again but he was betrayed publicly but this time not at a relatively small dinner party in washington but on the world stage.  Who believes Trump is going back quietly into civilian life with his tail tucked between his legs?

This brings us to what the Lord did with Moses.  Moses was a man belonging to our Lord who was placed in the inner circle of Egyptian political power while the Jews were slaves in Egypt.  Did Moses bring down Pharaoh from within the Egyptian political system?  No.  The Lord first removed Moses from inside the corrupt Egyptian political system, then outside the system Moses was used to bring Egypt to its knees. 

The Lord is not deaf and He is not blind.  The enemy and this world is working out their plans and the Lord is working out His plan.  Trump was used as a tool to slow down the progress of the Babylonian "final solution" for this world.  The Lord brought Trump in and He could have kept Trump in but He decided not to.  His ways are not our ways.  How are we supposed to deal with this short term victory by the powers of darkness?  Read Psalm 37, there is nothing new under the sun:

1Fret not yourself because of evildoers;
be not envious of wrongdoers!
2For they will soon fade like the grass
and wither like the green herb.

3Trust in the LORD, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.^b
4Delight yourself in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him, and he will act.
6He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
and your justice as the noonday.

7Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way,
over the man who carries out evil devices!

8Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!
Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
9For the evildoers shall be cut off,
but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.

10In just a little while, the wicked will be no more;
though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.
11But the meek shall inherit the land
and delight themselves in abundant peace.

12The wicked plots against the righteous
and gnashes his teeth at him,
13but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he sees that his day is coming.

14The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows
to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose way is upright;
15their sword shall enter their own heart,
and their bows shall be broken.

16Better is the little that the righteous has
than the abundance of many wicked.
17For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
but the LORD upholds the righteous.

18The LORD knows the days of the blameless,
and their heritage will remain forever;
19they are not put to shame in evil times;
in the days of famine they have abundance.

20But the wicked will perish;
the enemies of the LORD are like the glory of the pastures;
they vanish—like smoke they vanish away.

21The wicked borrows but does not pay back,
but the righteous is generous and gives;
22for those blessed by the LORD^c shall inherit the land,
but those cursed by him shall be cut off.

23The steps of a man are established by the LORD,
when he delights in his way;
24though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong,
for the LORD upholds his hand.

25I have been young, and now am old,
yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken
or his children begging for bread.
26He is ever lending generously,
and his children become a blessing.

27Turn away from evil and do good;
so shall you dwell forever.
28For the LORD loves justice;
he will not forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
29The righteous shall inherit the land
and dwell upon it forever.

30The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom,
and his tongue speaks justice.
31The law of his God is in his heart;
his steps do not slip.

32The wicked watches for the righteous
and seeks to put him to death.
33The LORD will not abandon him to his power
or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial.

34Wait for the LORD and keep his way,
and he will exalt you to inherit the land;
you will look on when the wicked are cut off.

35I have seen a wicked, ruthless man,
spreading himself like a green laurel tree.^d
36But he passed away,^e and behold, he was no more;
though I sought him, he could not be found.

37Mark the blameless and behold the upright,
for there is a future for the man of peace.
38But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed;
the future of the wicked shall be cut off.

39The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD;
he is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
40The LORD helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.

Looks like Psalm 37 could have been written today right?  

We are part of the long game, a long term plan that ends with scores being settled.  Things do not end well for the wicked.  But more likely than not we wont have to wait long for the wicked to begin reaping the harvest of what they have sown.  They did not allow Trump a moments peace over the 4 years he was president.  Do they think they will be able to settle into a state of peace and tranquility, back to business as usual now that they have what they wanted?  Here is a clue:  

Is 48:22

"There is no peace," says the LORD, "for the wicked."

In the meantime what are we to do?  First of all remember this:

7Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way,
over the man who carries out evil devices!

8Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!
Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
9For the evildoers shall be cut off,
but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.

Second, our individual missions have not changed.  What each of us is supposed to do for the Lord, employing our unique talents and abilities has not changed.  We have 'talents' (Matt 25) that are to be employed for the advancement of our Father's kingdom, so focus.  Focus on our mission like a laser.  Focus on the Lord, prayer and His Word.  Some things like this never change regardless of what nonsense the enemy and his servants try to pull.

Stay focused, do what the Spirit of the Lord has impressed upon your heart to do.  Pray, fast, stay in the Word, use your talents for the kingdom.  Simple stuff.  The Lord has been and is currently working day and night on the big picture stuff.  He is our General, we are the foot soldiers.  He determines the plan, we work out His plan according to the strength and wisdom the Spirit gives us.

The enemy is trying to act fast now because he knows his time is short.  The enemy, this world and those who love this world are on a short term timeline.  We are on an eternal timeline, time is on our side.  For this reason, time and again we are counseled not to fret but to be patient:

Rev 3:10

8“‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. 9Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you. 10Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. 11I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. 

The Lord is good and He is in full control.  Be patient, keep the faith and watch what the Lord our God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, General of all Supreme Generals will do on the battlefield that is this earth.  If we do what He tells us to do, we will not be disappointed.  Glory to God.

Hope At Christmas

 The winter solstice (around Christmas time) is the darkest day of the year.  More hours of darkness than any other time of the year.  It was at this time that the Light of the world showed up for all of us to save us.  At this time in the world, great darkness has risen again.  What are the righteous to do?  Put their faith in the light of the world who always shows up right on time.

Here is a Psalm that lays out some of the hope we have before us:

Ps 54

1O God, save me by your name,
and vindicate me by your might.
2O God, hear my prayer;
give ear to the words of my mouth.

3For strangers^b have risen against me;
ruthless men seek my life;
they do not set God before themselves. Selah

4Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life.
5He will return the evil to my enemies;
in your faithfulness put an end to them.

6With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you;
I will give thanks to your name, O LORD, for it is good.
7For he has delivered me from every trouble,
and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.

If you read your Bibles you will see this particular Psalm is far from a "one off."  The Word of the Lord is absolutely overflowing with similar promises.  The future of the wicked is absolute destruction.  The future of the righteous is grace, peace, confidence and quietness forever:

Is 32

16The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert,

his righteousness live in the fertile field.

17The fruit of that righteousness will be peace;

its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.

18My people will live in peaceful dwelling places,

in secure homes,

in undisturbed places of rest.

19Though hail flattens the forest

and the city is leveled completely,

20how blessed you will be,

sowing your seed by every stream,

and letting your cattle and donkeys range free.

Merry Christmas everyone.  Put all your hope and faith in the Lord.  Anyone who does this will not be disappointed.

The Mission

 The Lord interjected a statement into this writer's thoughts that needs to be shared.  The other day as this nobody was pondering the Trump/Biden drama and what it means, the impression again was that with Trump we may have a little more time, with Biden we get sold down the river immediately.  That lead to thoughts about the employment and development of our skills, talents, abilities to serve our Lord's kingdom.  Next was the thought that we may have a little more time for skill/talent development if Trump wins and about here in the thought process the Lord interjected one sentence.  Here was the sentence:

"You do understand that your mission and development of your talents has not and will not change regardless of who wins the presidency right?"

There are multiple sub ideas that can be derived from this statement:

1.  The trump biden drama is not as important as people think it is.  The Lord could have set the current scenario up differently but He chose not to for many reasons.

2.  Our Lord's will, will be done regardless.  His purposes, not the enemy's or mankind's purposes stand the test of time. 

Is 14:27

or the LORD Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

Ps 33:11

But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

3.  That gift the Lord has given you to use, that thing inside of you that you do better than other people? That thing you enjoy doing more than other people because you are kinda good at it, that is your talent, ability, gift to be used in the service of the Great King, the Lord our God who created us for His glory to do what is good and pleasing in His sight.   

4.  The fact that you have this gift/ability/talent right now on earth is the evidence of what the Lord wants you to do.  We are here now on earth as members of His kingdom according to our Lord's foreknowledge of what is needed today for the working out of His plan that was mapped out long before any of us was a twinkle in our human parent's eye.

5.  We dont have to figure everything out.  The Lord our God has already done that.  We dont have to predict what is going to happen next either.  Our Lord already laid out in His Word exactly what is going to happen and it is all going down exactly as He knew it would.  None of today's worldwide fraud, abuse, murder, theft and mayhem came as a surprise to Him who knows all things from beginning to end.  Our Lord has a plan and each of us has a part to play in it according to our individual gifts and abilities.  We dont need someone else to tell us what we should be doing as that has been well laid out in the Word of God as well as an introspective look at what has been deposited in each of us.

6.  None of the so called 'prophets' that I am aware of on the internet or anywhere else saw what was coming today.  They have all been wrong which is evidence of who they really are.  Nor do we need the globalist or even alternative 'news' to tell us.  The deception that is rampant in the world today is epic.  Which is why when things get like this we draw closer and closer back to fundamentals that have not changed over the millennia. 

Each one of us knows more or less what it is we are supposed to be doing.  Its right in front of our face.  Open those Bibles to find the answers.  One of the things we find in that Bible is the parable of the 'talents':

Matt 25

14“For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants^c and entrusted to them his property. 15To one he gave five talents,^d to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. 16He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. 17So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money. 19Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here, I have made five talents more.’ 21His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.^e You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 22And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here, I have made two talents more.’ 23His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 24He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’ 26But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? 27Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. 28So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

It is apparent from this parable that the Lord our God wants us to use what we have been given to serve Him.  Each one of us has gifts/talents and a mission to use those talents in His service.  This is a theme and a message that has been impressed upon this servant by the Spirit of the Lord since the end of last year when as is this servants custom the Lord is asked what is it this servant should know and or be doing over this next year?  The answer at the end of last year before any of this madness began was focus on the talents while not forgetting everything else we already know we should be doing (pray/fast/stay in the Word/give thanks continually/etc).
