Add to that record tornado activity in the U.S. over Christmas? Record tornadoes in December? Is that normal? Far from it.
Why report on such things here? Because we were told to WATCH for the Lord. That's it. I see it all around us, people weary of watching. One event after another goes by us and no return of the Lord (for the Bride not 'second coming') so people give up.
Now 12/21/2012 has gone by without a whimper, a completely 100% blown call by the 'new age' crowd and the mayans. Their fallen angels spirit guides led them off a cliff. So now what?
Now, we continue to do what we have been doing. We watch and wait. That's it. The problem with this for most people is it is not sexy or exciting or sensational. There is no 'thus saith the Lord "words" or any of the other garbage being spewed by so many self proclaimed 'prophets' on youtube who get 'dreams, visions and words from the Lord' almost daily.
We patiently and obediently watch and wait while we suffer through these days. Yep, we suffer. There's nothing attractive about that is there? What were we told to do, and why do we watch what is happening to the earth on this blog? What does the Word say?
Mark 13:32“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33Be on guard! Be alertf! You do not know when that time will come. 34It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with his assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.
35“Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. 36If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. 37What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’”
Too many find this patient watching to be booooooooring. They are 'over it.' "Things go on as they always have so why watch" they say. We watch because we were told to. We were ordered to. We are soldiers of Christ.

Soldiers who have been ordered to keep watch have a sacred duty. They watch over the lives of all their fellow soldiers. If a soldier on watch falls asleep on watch and the enemy creeps in unaware, then what happens? Keeping watch is SACRED DUTY.
If you wonder why the writing here has focused on earthquakes, dead animals, whacked out weather, the coming destroyer and all the other end time signs, it is all focused to one end: watching for the coming of the Lord.

I thanked the Lord recently that He keeps these end of the world type thoughts in my mind continually. Some might consider this a curse, this writer believes it is one of the highest blessings. Why? The wicked will not see it coming....
Daniel 12:10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
Whatever we have to do to stay motivated and keep watching, that is what we must do. Do not be caught asleep when the Master arrives. The watch is sacred duty...
What will happen in 2013? World War? Economic Collapse? Global pole shift? The Rapture? Or, business as usual for another full year? If history has taught us anything it is that things can be hanging on the brink of destruction for years and nothing earth shattering will happen. 2013 could be another 'ordinary' year of record weather, wars and rumors of wars, governments being overthrown in the middle east, massive earthquakes, record draughts etc.
The Lord has not given this servant a shred of a clue as to when things are coming. What the Lord has done is instruct the servant to WATCH for His coming, every day. So that is what I will do. I pray that you will not grow weary of watching.
