The first human thing to do is fall back on logic and reason to identify the causes of the fires. We who have the Spirit of God living inside us have a different resource to fall back on. What did the Lord tell us would happen?
Rev 8:6Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
7The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
Am I saying this is Rev 8? No. A preview of coming events? Yes. In His mercy our God always warns first.

Now think about what is happening and what people in the media are saying about it. Will you ever, ever, ever hear them tell you it was "hail and fire mixed with blood" that caused this? Never. The same goes with everything else written in the book of Revelation. They will search the earth high and low, for reasons to justify what is happening but they will never reference the Word of God.
It sounds like nonsense to the world so they scorn it and turn their back on it just like they have done with everything else in the Word of God. The Lord has spoken, He has issued His judgements and laws and man has ignored them. Now look at this place.
1 Corinthians 1:25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the
weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
The first inclination of the believer should be to refer back to the Word of God. What has the Lord said? That is the beginning and the end of it. Are we living in the end times? Surely we are. What has the Lord said about the end times? Look around, what is happening?
Here is a little more 'nonsense' to the world:
2 Cor 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight.
When we look around at the world and see what is happening, sight will tell us one thing, faith will tell us another. Faith pulls us back to: the Spirit of God and The Word of God. Faith tells what is happening to the world is of Divine origin. The same God who hardened Pharaoh's heart in Egypt is also working the hearts of the wicked politicians of this world so that in the end, His will is done.
In their arrogance, the people who think they control this world (George Soros is a good example) are themselves being played for fools. They will see in the end that every move they made was a step deeper into the divine trap that was set for them:

2The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3“Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
4The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6“I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”
Things continue to get worse for this world each and every day and the bad news is just beginning. The burner is only set to warm, its on its way to hot. We know this from a quick glance at the book of Revelation. At each stage of escalation, the Lord is looking at the hearts of men to see if they get it or not:
Rev 9:17The
horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their
breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads
of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came
fire, smoke and sulfur.
18A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths.
19The
power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their
tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.
20The
rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not
repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons,
and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see
or hear or walk.
21Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.
Conclusion:
We dont have to figure out why things are happening or how to navigate the end time minefield set as a snare for the people of this world. All we have to do is put our little child hand in our Father's hand and trust Him. He will lead us, He will guide us. He was, and He is, and He will be everything we need from moment to moment, day to day, year to year. If we trust Him and make Him our refuge, we can rest.
Psalm 91:1Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.a
2I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
While the rest of the world's hearts are failing them for fear of whats coming upon the world, we will be able to rest in Him and through Him.
John 14:25“All this I have spoken while still with you.
26But
the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said
to you.
27Peace
I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the
world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
28“You
heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you
loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the
Father is greater than I.
29I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.
30I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me,
31but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me.
