Sharia Court Sentences Gay Men to 100 lashes: Western Media=Silent

The double standard here is breathtaking.  What double standard?  Had this been a Christian court, every news outlet in the western hemisphere would be decrying this 'injustice' from the rooftops, no doubt with protests in the streets across the western world.  But when it is an Islamic court?  Its so quiet you can here a pin drop.

This incredible double standard is proof positive that the spirit of Babylon is alive and well in todays world.  That spirit has no qualms whatsoever with its own hypocrisy, its constant deception and wickedness that has no bounds.  Why is that?  Because the spirit of Babylon is the spirit of anti-Christ:

Isaiah 14
³ And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
⁴ That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

The king of Babylon is that wicked one that our Lord will overthrow with the breath of His mouth:

2 Thess 2
⁸ And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.

The summary statement that sums up almost everything we are seeing, the corruption everywhere and the people who cannot get enough of it is: the rise of Babylon.  The whole world (minus the few who are in Christ Jesus) is following this spirit.  Only those who are rooted firmly in Christ will be able to resist this anti-Christ tidal wave that is sweeping over the world.

This calls for patient endurance.  The Lord has plans for this world....  He has different plans for us. 

1 Thes 5:9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
