Outward Manifestations

The social, political and economic problems facing this world are all symptoms, outward manifestations of the real problem.  The real problem facing this world is spiritual.  Almost everyone we see and hear around us, unfortunately including so called Church 'leaders' are telling us to engage the social, political and economic problems.  That is treating the symptoms instead of the disease.  Imagine if a patient had cancer and the only thing the doctors treated them for was a sore throat.  What would happen?  The patient would die.  So it is with this world:

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.


If Christians want to "do something" they need to forget the ways of this world and take hold of the ways of our Kingdom and PRAY.  That's right, while people are running around trying to move a bucket full of sand by focusing on politics etc, there are a few out there who believe what our God told us when He said this:

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Through faith and prayer you can move mountains.  Getting involved in all this wordly nonsense you can move molehills.  You figure out which makes more sense....
