1 John 2:6 (various translations):
"Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked." (or "ought to walk in the same way in which he walked," ESV; "must live as Jesus did," NIV).
Ok, great but what does that mean? Next question is, how did Jesus walk? Most obvious answer is: 1. He walked in love and 2. signs, wonders and miracles. <----This is how we graduate to the next level which will take place when we either leave of natural causes or our Lord snatches us out of here.
Now for the really important part. Signs, wonders and miracles are not just for "pastors" priests and rabbis. You are the one supposed to be walking in these things, otherwise the command the Lord gave us is both impossible and nonsensical. Which leads us to the demonic doctrine of the Nicolaitans which teaches that believers are somehow "lay people." Find that in a Bible for me please? I'm begging you really, please find it....You cant because its not in there. Let me show you what is in your Bible:
John 14:12
Very truly I tell you, whoever (not pastors, preists, or rabbis) believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
John 14:12 is in direct alignment and agreement with 1 John 2:6. There are no "average" believers, we were created with the intent to walk and operate as our Lord Jesus did, and do greater things (His Word, not mine). Why? For His Glory.
2026 is the year of spiritual awakening, and repentance and revival in the Church. It is also a year where believers are to be leveling up into the best version of themselves which means operating at the highest level or increasingly higher levels in all their talents, gifts and abilities which includes espcially and primarily spiritual giftings, but also includes everything else.
If you have never stopped to think about what the best, 100% version of yourself looks like, speaks like, acts like. You need to do that now. If you are a believer that version of you is going to be aligned and in agreement with our Lord, centered in His Will.
You are the answer to someone else's problem. Some of us have been sent after 1, some of us after 1,000s and some after millions or more. Each of us has a vision and mission assigned to us and while that is unique, what is not unique is all of our missions work together under the framework of His grand plan.
2026 is also the year of faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love. Nobody makes it into the Kingdom without love which is why many will say to our Lord one day "But Lord Lord we did this that and other things in your Name" and He tells them away from me you evil doers. No love, no Heaven, no Kingdom, no future.
This is how we finish strong. The Lord could come back at any moment. The best way to be ready for that is preparation not predicting times and dates. Lets spend our time doing hard things and getting better. Lets spend our time doing the job we were put here to do in and around the people we were put here to serve. While we do all this lets us grow our relationship and love for our Creator which is our primary mission above all else.
