Thoughts About The Rapture

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF)

The Lord has been instructing me for some time (a year or so) about cycles, and the Old Testament.  It was not until this week that I understood everything He has been teaching me was to be put together to understand the very end of the end times (the days we live in today).  It is time to get excited about what is coming.

Points of understanding:

The Lord has always operated on cycles.  We have winter, spring, summer, fall.  Here recently He has revealed what nobody took notice of:  the re-emerging Shemitah cycle.  Thanks to the Lord using brother Cahn, the whole world now knows what the Shemitah is.  So what?

So its all about cycles.  We began the Bible with an Israel cycle, which transitioned into a Church cycle, then we will finish with an Israel cycle.  The Old Testament is an Israel cycle.  The New Testament is almost all a Church Cycle.  The book of Revelation is a mixed cycle (Church cycle, Israel cycle, The End.)

Revelation 1-3 is exclusively the Church.  Do you see Israel mentioned anywhere in there?  No.
Pay close attention to the little details you have read for years and glossed right over.  Read now from the perspective of cycles.  In Revelation 1 here is how our Lord is described for us by the Holy Spirit:

12And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Do you see any mention of Isaac, David, Jacob or anything else relating to Israel in this description^^?  No you do not.  Rev 1-3 is the end of the church cycle.  Rev 4-5 is transition between cycles, Rev 6-18 is Israel cycle.  We just looks at the description of Jesus in Rev 1 for the beginning of the short church cycle, now let us look at the description of our Lord Jesus in the transition cycle in Rev 5:

Just before opening the first seal, how is our Lord described?

5And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Do you see the change?  We just shifted from the Church cycle into the Israel centric cycle.  Notice the Words used:  Lion of the tribe of Juda (Israel), Root of David (Israel).  Once someone points it out to you it is plain as day but for years all of us have read right over this.

The Lord spent an entire chapter of the Bible explaining how things work:  Cycles/Seasons/Times!!

Eccl 3
1There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

After Rev 5:5 you do not see the Church, what do you see?  Old Testament punishments for disobedience.  Revelation 6, all the seals are Old Testament judgements!  This was a real eye opener.  The Lord has had me in Deuteronomy 28, Leviticus 26, Isaiah 51, but why?  To understand Revelation 6....Compare the rewards for disobedience listed in Leviticus 26, with Revelation 6.  They match up more or less exactly.

In Rev 1-3 we see the church mentioned by name.  Rev 4-5 is transition with Israel taking center stage again by Rev 5.5.  Revelation 6 is a reintroduction (via the seals) of the same exact Old Testament punishments for disobedience...and the Church is mentioned no more.  One cycle has ended, another has begun.

Seal 1, anti-Christ, Leviticus 26:7And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

Seal 2, a great sword: Lev 26: 23And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; 24Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins. 25And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities

Seal 3, Famine, Leviticus 26. 20And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

Seal 4, Death, Leviticus 26.  36And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth. 37And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies. 38And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up. 39And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

Seal 5-6 begin to break new ground that is specifically contained to Revelation.  What I do want you to notice is this (remember cycles/seasons/times):  11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

A little season?  Rev 3:10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Hour of temptation (tribulation) = little season?  The Church is promised to sit out , be removed from that season (Glory to God.)

Is it really a coincidence that right now the Shemitah (Israel centric) cycle has made its way back into the world's consciousness?  Is it really a coincidence that the same exact rewards for disobedience listed in Leviticus 26 (Israel centric) and Deuteronomy 28 (Israel centric) reappear in Revelation 6 (Israel centric)?

What's the point and what does this have to do with the rapture?  The point is, the Church cycle is coming to an end and the Israel cycle is about to begin.  No cycle ends on a dime, as one cycle is ending and another is beginning they blend for a short time, that is where we are right now.

As for the rapture.  I believe we should forget we ever heard the word rapture.  Why?  Why not let the Bible speak for itself and use the terms the Bible uses?  Satan is very clever.  He has used the rapture debate to steal our hope, to create doubt.

How has he done this?  By framing the argument as though only one event were possible.

Why has there been all this argument over pre-trib, mid-trib, pre-wrath, post-trib?  Because we have all argued as though the Lord could only possibly be talking about one event across all of the scriptures that have been used to defend each of the rapture viewpoints.  We all fell for it, for awhile.  What was the error that led so many astray?  Not letting the Bible speak for itself.

Luke 21:36 is an "escape from all" event.  Escape from all are the precise Words used by the Lord.  Forget the word rapture, if the Lord did not use it, we should not either...

Revelation 3:10 is a "kept from the hour of trial" event.  The word rapture is not used by the Lord, we should not use it either.

1 Thess 4 is a "caught up" event.  Yes, you can use the word harpazo if you want to but let us use the Lord's Words, His descriptors, not ours.

Matt 24:31 is a "gather his elect" event.  The Lord did not use the word rapture here, lets use His Words not ours..

^^These are some of the key scriptures that have all been lumped together to steal the hope of millions by introducing doubt.  The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy.  The Lord only knows how much killing, stealing and destroying the enemy has done by us allowing him to frame the Word of God for us.  Forget you ever heard the word rapture and resolve only to know exactly what the Word of God says..

I will ask one simple question to get the wheels turning about what appears to be multiple events.  Does the "caught up in the blink of an eye" event in 1 Thess 4 sound like angels "gather his elect from the four winds"  No, the methodology per the Word of God is completely radically different so why do people continue to force round blocks into square holes?  If they sound different they probably are different.  Who has created all this confusion about these scriptures?  Men have with the assistance of the enemy.

If we take the Word of God as it is written and do not add anything to it, do not spiritualize it and subtract from it but just take it as it is written its is so obvious a child could understand it.

There can be multiple events, and there will be multiple events and I hereby refuse to call anyone of them "rapture" as that term has now been used to so confuse the body of Christ that it should be banished.  Let the Bible speak for itself.

The Bible, when it speaks for itself, appears to be pointing to multiple events, not one.  Revolutionary idea?  Not even close.  This path is so well worn in the Bible it is hard for me to believe we were so easily sidetracked.  Consider:

• Enoch—Genesis 5
• Elijah—2 Kings 6
• Isaiah—Isaiah 6
• Philip—Acts 8
• Paul—2 Corinthians 12
• Two Witnesses—Revelation 11
• Male Child (Jesus)—Revelation 12

All of these ^^ are physical translation events.

Conclusion:

There will be multiple events that will happen exactly as the Word of God said they will.  There will be an escape from all event.  There will be gathering from the 4 winds of heaven event as detailed in Matt 24:31.  There will be a caught up in the blink of an eye event as described in 1 Thess 4.  Where the events sound the same, they probably are the same, where they do not sound the same, they probably are not the same.

This past week the Lord had me skim through the New Testament to look for links to Old Testament punishments linked to the New Testament.  Thats where we see 1 Cor 10 and Rev 6, they link Old and New but the larger point that zooms out to the big picture is this:  The New Testament really is "good news."  If you go back and read the Old Testament and see how often punishment, and disobedience, and curses are mentioned and it can be some tough reading.  When you skim through the New Testament, its about love, grace, mercy.  In general its just "good news" especially compared to the Old Testament.

Here's where it is time to get excited.  The good news of the New Testament, the Church age/cycle ends as it began, with hope and comfort.  How so?

It appears that there is an escape from all event coming.  Escape from all means what it says it means.  Some believers will escape all that is about to happen.  Is there some hope and comfort in that?  You bet there is and it is time to slam the door shut on the enemy stealing our hope and comfort.

Okay, is that all the hope and comfort?  No.  What happens to the believers who miss the escape from all event?  There is a gathering by the angels event that takes place immediately after the abomination that causes desolation. resulting in what we see in Revelation 7, a multitude in heaven.  Notice there is no mention of the Church in Revelation 7.  Why not?  Different cycle, different people.

What we do see in Rev 7 is the elders that we also saw in Rev 4-5 and what did the elder say?

"Who are these people?"

Different group, different time, different cycle.  What do we know about these elders?

We know there are 24 elders (Rev 5:8).  We also know that these elders represent a much larger group that is already there in heaven with them.  How do we know that?

In Rev 5:8 we see there are 24 elders and in Rev 5:9 we see this:

9And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

So, there are 1. redeemed persons in heaven 2.  out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.  Next let us ask if this equates:

24 people =every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.

Another way of asking it is, are there more than 24 (combined) tribes, tongues, peoples and nations?  Obviously and absolutely MANY more.  And they are there before any of the seals have been opened in Rev 6.  So who could these people be and which event could they be associated with?

Ask better questions, get better answers.  Stop accepting pre-framed arguments and accept the Word of the Lord just exactly as it is written, adding nothing to it and subtracting nothing from it.  If the events sounds different, they probably are different.  There is no limit to how many different events the Lord can cause to take place as we have already established here:

• Enoch—Genesis 5
• Elijah—2 Kings 6
• Isaiah—Isaiah 6
• Philip—Acts 8
• Paul—2 Corinthians 12
• Two Witnesses—Revelation 11
• Male Child (Jesus)—Revelation 12

Glory to God.  It appears the escape from all event is next.  Let us pray for ourselves, our families and all those in Christ that not one of us will miss it.

What The Shemitah Has Taught Us

The Shemitah cycle has been alive and well for decades if not longer.  Brother Cahn has proven this extensively in his book and videos.  The most interesting part is, the Shemitah cycle is affecting everyone, not just Israel.  This has been a point of emphasis here for a few days now.  It does not matter if someone things they are exempt because they think they are not "under the law."  It does not matter if they do not believe anything in the Old Testament applies to them.  The cycle and its impacts have affected everyone.  If you have a bank account, or money in any investment account or if you are involved in the world economy in any way, it affects you.

What is coming up this fall is a Jubilee which in essence is a super-Shemitah.  What happens during a Jubilee?  Debts are cancelled and slaves are released.  According to legendary forecaster Martin Armstrong, the next major crisis to hit this world will be a bond (debt) crisis.  Government bonds are in the process of pumping (up) in preparation for a catastrophic dump (down).  All of this is to happen precisely aligned with the coming Jubilee year that begins in Sept 2015.

If I did not know the time of Jacob's trouble was coming I would almost say we should all rejoice.   The world economy is built upon debt and debt is slavery.  The entire world system is built upon economic slavery and this current system is about to be wiped out by the Lord's super-cycles called the Shemitah and Jubilee.

As brother Jonathan Cahn explains in his videos, the Shemitah and Jubilee were designed as a blessing but when the people are disobedient and defiant it becomes are curse.  Are the people of this world living in obedience or disobedience to the Lord's commands?  They are disobedient.  So what is coming?  More of the curse.  Why do I say more?  Because as past Shemitah cycles have shown the economy is being wiped out in pieces.  Moreover, other aspects of the Lord's curse on disobedient children are evident now as well.  Recently we discussed some aspects of the curses laid out in Deuteronomy 28.  Now lets look at some of the curses presented in Leviticus 26.  The curses in Leviticus 26 are laid out progressively from bad to worse.  The curse we are seeing right now (in America) is just the beginning:

Lev 26
Punishments for Disobedience

14“However, if you do not listen to me or obey all these commands, 15and if you break my covenant by rejecting my decrees, treating my regulations with contempt, and refusing to obey my commands, 16I will punish you. I will bring sudden terrors upon you—wasting diseases and burning fevers that will cause your eyes to fail and your life to ebb away. You will plant your crops in vain because your enemies will eat them. 17I will turn against you, and you will be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you, and you will run even when no one is chasing you!
18“And if, in spite of all this, you still disobey me, I will punish you seven times over for your sins. 19I will break your proud spirit by making the skies as unyielding as iron and the earth as hard as bronze. 20All your work will be for nothing, for your land will yield no crops, and your trees will bear no fruit.

Just look at the few underlined places in the scripture above:

1.  What do we live in today?  An age of what?  Terrorism.  That would be verse 16.

2.  It has been written here many times in the past that people do not get who they vote for, they get who they deserve.  What do the people of America and this world deserve right now?  To be ruled over by people who hate them.  That would be verse 17.

3.  What is one of the Lord's signature judgements throughout the Bible?  Drought.  Look at the entire American west and in particular California today.  That would be verse 19.

Only God Almighty could have predicted what is happening with such startling accuracy thousands of years in advance.  His Shemitah cycle and Jubilee super-cycle are hitting precisely at a time of super disobedience, wickedness and corruption.

Speaking of cycles and super-cycles we are also seeing a transition from a Gentile cycle into a Jewish one.

Luke 21.24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

All of this business of a Shemitah and Jubilee has a decidedly Jewish flavor to it.  We have been unknowingly witnessing minor cycles bloom into a major cycle.  We are witnessing the end of a Gentile cycle and the emergence of a Jewish cycle.  Thus the prominence today of the Shemitah cycle that has become so obvious that even worldly commentators and making note of it.

We are entering the time of Jacob's trouble

As with the emergence of any major cycle it does not show up one day unannounced.  No, major cycles announce themselves well in advance and they take time to transition.  Unfortunately most people do not pay attention until they are punched squarely in the face by the arrival of the new cycle then they say "who saw this coming?"

Few would debate the fact that Matt 24 is an "end times" chapter of the Bible.  When we look at that chapter what do we see?  Verse 1 Chapter 24 talks about the destruction of the temple.  The temple-decidedly Jewish (not Church centric).  Verse 15-the abomination, where?  The temple, decidedly Jewish (not Church centric).  What are the final 7 years called?  The time of Jacob's trouble-decidedly Jewish (not Church centric).  What are we witnessing this very day?  The transition out of the Gentile cycle into the Jewish cycle as evidenced by among other things the return to prominence of the Shemitah and Jubilee.

Do we see this reflected in the book of Revelation?  You bet we do.  Revelation has 22 chapters.  The church is specifically mentioned by name in Rev 2-3 then it is specifically mentioned no more.

By the time we reach chapter 7 of 22 chapters the Lord is calling out entirely, completely, wholly Jewish members and tribes.  Again the wave or cycle shifts from Gentile to Jew.

Will there be Christians participating in the time of Jacob's trouble?  Sure but it was not meant for them.  We have the entire New Testament that includes the Words of our Lord Jesus Himself along with all the apostles and nowhere in there do we read about "the time of the Church's trouble?"  No?  Why not?  Because the entire Church age has been the time of the Church's trouble starting with Christians being fed to lions to all the martyr's and saints of Christ being subjected to the most vile treatment known to man up to the present day persecution of Christians throughout the world in every country of the world including America.

We were told to pray for escape because there is an escape from what is coming.

Luke 21:34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

We were given Noah and Lot as examples:

Luke 17:26And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Did Noah escape all that was about to happen to him?  Yes
Did Lot escape all that was about to happen to him?  Yes

(And they both did it with their families by the way)

So too we are told to pray for escape.  Those who preach and teach that there is no escape from all that is coming are probably right concerning themselves, but not us.  They preach that somebody has to be in the tribulation to convert others etc.  What better people to do it than those who preach it!  (this is just my opinion) but what is not opinion is the Lord blesses and rewards people according to their faith and/or belief.  What we believe or do not believe matters!

Matt 8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

The time of transition is upon us, it is right at the door.  Starting this year the economy will begin its final descent into oblivion.  What will arise out of the economic ashes will be a system that includes the mark of the beast to be able to buy or sell anything.

We have a hope based on the New Testament promise of Old Testament fact.  Noah and Lot escaped all of what was about to happen to them.  Let us pray as obedient children in accordance with the command given to us by our Lord through the Holy Spirit:

36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Confirming The Escape From All

I will just leave out the word rapture so there is no argument whatsoever about what we are talking about.  What has the Lord told us to do and promised us?

He told us to pray for this:

Luke 21:34“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. 35For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

Now, we know there are many in the world who tell us there is no escape and we should not pray for it.  They directly contradict the Lord's own command on and promise.  We recently saw confirmation that the Lord will keep His Word to keep our foot from being snared and now we confirm it from a different angle.

Those who argue against the Lord's Word in Luke 21:34-36 tell us that somehow we deserve or 'need' to go through the snare, and the trials and tribulation stored up in the days to come.  The problem is, for every reason they give there is a counter reason what this will not happen.  Take this for example:

Prov 11:8The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked comes in his stead.

This is the Word of the Lord ^^ here.  Not my opinion or speculation.  So let me ask a simple question.  The elders seated in heaven who are redeemed and rewarded men (Rev 4.4) from every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (Rev 5:9).

Did they escape all that was about to happen in the book of Revelation?  We see these redeemed and rewarded men in heaven from every tongue tribe and nation before any of the seals have been opened, did they escape all?  They most certainly did.  Were they 'delivered out of trouble' and the wicked left knee deep in it instead?  Yes.

Some would say "ok but that is just the 24 elders, not the rest of us."  They fail to solve the math problem presented in in Rev 5.9.  Math problem?  Yea, let's do some simple addition:

How many kindreds are there on earth right now?
How many different languages are there on earth right now?
How many different peoples are there on earth right now?
How many different nations are there on earth right now?

Go ahead and add up whatever numbers you get from the questions above and you tell me if the answer is greater than 24......

As a final nail in the coffin of the arguments we hear, when we read the Words of the Lord to the churches in Rev 2-3, do we see any language whatsoever of the righteous 'needing' to perfect their righteousness or having to be in the tribulation to 'witness to the wicked/lost' or any of the other litany of reasons given by the deniers? No, we don't see anything remotely close to that.  What we do read is there is a church that will be kept from the hour of trial, and its the same church that sees an open door, and that same open door is seen in Rev 4.1 and that door is in heaven which proves being kept is not on earth, and further proof of not being kept on earth is a number of redeemed men in heaven from every kindred, language, people and nation in Rev 5 before any of the seals are opened.

We don't have to be creative, we just have to read the Word like a 4th grader would, simple and straightforward.  Escape all, open door in heaven, redeemed and rewarded men in heaven, then all hell breaks loose.

Prov 11:8The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked comes in his stead.

^^^^^Amen ^^^^^^

Escape ALL That Is About To Happen

There is an event coming that 1.  is like a trap and 2. will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth.

Now let us reason together very carefully.  Consider what our Lord tells us above.  This trap will come on all those who live where? On the face of the earth.

Many people have a problem interpreting this simple word "all."  What does all mean?  It means everyone, without exception.  The Lord goes on to specifically clarify what He meant by "all."  He tells us all includes everyone who lives where?  On the face of the whole earth.  So for those who argue that somehow Christians will not escape all that is about to happen, but they will be kept somewhere on the earth out of harms way, they have a major problem with the Word of the Lord.  ALL those on the face of the earth will be affected.

See, there is an escape and place of refuge, but by the Lord's own definition it is not on the face of this earth...

We know that ^^ because the Lord told us that all those on the face of the whole earth will be affected by it.  After the Lord specifically identifies who will be affected (all those on the face of the whole earth), He tells us what?  Watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

Watch and pray that we may be able to do what?  Escape all that is about to happen.  There is that pesky Word "all" again.  What does "all" mean?  If people do not understand what a 3 lettered Word in the promise means how can they understand the full promise?  It is a simple question that terribly vexes those who argue against the escape from all promised to those who believe.

There is most certainly an escape coming.  When exactly only the Lord knows, but we do know this: we were commanded by the Lord God to pray for this escape.  How many people do we know that not only do not pray for this escape but teach others not to as well because of their man made doctrines?  Who told us there would be an escape from all?  The Lord God did, period.  Who told us, ordered us, commanded us to pray for this escape?  The Lord our God did.  Those who preach and teach otherwise do so at their own peril.
