Those Being Saved

1 Cor 1:18 for the word of the cross to those indeed perishing is foolishness, and to us -- those being saved -- it is the power of God,

Note carefully what is said above. To us...those being saved.....it says BEING SAVED..which means its an ongoing thing, not a "sign sealed delivered" thing.

Does this jive with Paul saying that he was working out his salvation with fear and trembling?

Yea, it fits like a glove.

1 Cor 2:14 and the natural man doth not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for to him they are foolishness, and he is not able to know them, because spiritually they are discerned; 15 and he who is spiritual, doth discern indeed all things, and he himself is by no one discerned; 16 for who did know the mind of the Lord that he shall instruct Him? and we -- we have the mind of Christ.

This is a big help in understanding why so few "get it." This also helps explain why so few are on the narrow path that leads to life. The true things of God are considered foolishness by natural man. This explains why the preachers and teachers of babylon-ianity kept telling you to "get involved" in this worlds political process so you could "make a difference." To these men, praying is a distant afterthought to worldly "involvement" when you want to get something accomplished.

There is a place for action, but only after prayer. Sometimes the most difficult action is to take no action, which is many times a faith test. You pray and the Lord tells you to wait for it. You get tired of waiting and proceed to go out and do it for yourself. I've lost count of how many figures in the bible screwed up majorly over that one thing alone. The first to come to mind was King Saul. So, when you pray, and the Lord tells you to wait, you are "doing something" and that thing that you are doing is absolute foolishness to natural man. They just don't get it.

As we approach the tribulation hour, each one of us needs to tune into the Lord's frequency...daily.. to find out what our specific marching orders are.

We have seen the signs hanging around Obama's neck that clearly point to anti-christ. As I've also said, that does'nt mean he is it, he could be the one greasing the skids for the man of sin, or he could be the man of sin, regardless, either way the signs are there. We know that the apostasy is in full bloom and the restrainer is taken out of the way to make way for the revelation of anti-christ. We don't know today who it is, but we see signs everywhere telling us he's in the area. What does that mean? Time is short. If anti-christ is about to be revealed, that means the escape is about here. We may have a couple years left, we may not have the rest of today left on this earth.

Let us keep our lamps full of oil today, lets be prepared to wait for the shout that calls us into our version of Noah's ark. Let's be prepared to meet our master at the door when he knocks, and when he shows up may he find us doing what pleases him. Be ready today, be patient today. Plan and work as though we could be here to live out the rest of a natural life, but understand the Master said he would show up at a time when we were not expecting it.

If Jesus showed up today, I would not be surprised. Many are getting so sucked in by the "anxieties of life" which is exactly what the Lord told us not to do. If we do not stand on our faith, we will not stand at all.

"If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all." Isaiah 7:9

Luke 21:34 'And take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts may be weighed down with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and anxieties of life, and suddenly that day may come on you, 35 for as a snare it shall come on all those dwelling on the face of all the land, 36 watch ye, then, in every season, praying that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.'

Our faith "muscle" is like any other muscle in that it becomes stronger with use. If you are not "excercising" it today then what will happen tomorrow when you really need your faith to walk outside the boat with Jesus? It's going to take faith to do everything of any importance in the future. We do not live by sight, we live by faith. Our hope is the evidence of the things we do not see yet. Do not be troubled by the things happening around us, the needs we have (and we all have them) need to be committed to the Lord in faith, then we should rest.

Phil 4:6 for nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God; 7 and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Do this ^^ and later, when you have passed through your situations victoriously, look back on what the Lord has done for you. Do not be double minded. You are dearly loved..grace and peace

Hope Unto the End

Hebrews 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Here in the book of Hebrews we see what its going to take to inheret the promises made to us: faith and patience. Those who are not faithful and patient unto the end are slothful. If you read your bible often, you'll start to notice certain words popping up over and over again. Think these recurring words mean something? I do. For example "in Christ" is written so many times in your bible that I have a hard time not seeing it whenever I open the New Testament. Some of these other common words are HOPE, FAITH, and PATIENCE. We have something marvelous to be faithful and patient for.

We engage our faith and patience to remain "in Christ" and inherit the promises. These things are important to remember during the dark days we are living through.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose

It does'nt matter what you're going through today, if you love God, things will work out for your good. That's great news isn't it? Now here's the part 99% of todays preachers leave out.....to them that love God....what does "love God" mean? It means YOU OBEY HIM.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

It's so easy to hold a pep rally at the corner jiffy-lube churchianity building and say "all you have to do is "love God" and everything will be happy ever after. That's speaking half-truths the way only man made religion can do it. Our Father does'nt love the way this world loves. Our Father specifically defined what it means to "love God."

Be encouraged today that you have a hope in God, that all things can work together for your good, but remember how that happens...it happens through faith and obedience. Love=obedience and obedience=love.

Todays jiffy lube service center churchianity tells you that faith, patience, love, obedience, none of those things are necessary to inheret the promises of God. The bible says something different, which is why its important for you to read it for yourself. They tell you that sin is common in every christians life so don't make a big deal over it. When you hear that, know that you are hearing satan himself talking to you. Our Lord was sinless and we are called to be just like him. Nobody said this was going to be easy, but it WILL be worth it. There's no suffering you are going through now that will compare with 1 minute standing in our Lord's presence.

We can have peace now, and paradise later, but there are requirements...like faith, love and patience. Love means obedience. What master does'nt require obedience from his servants? Even Satan expects that, but todays religious people would have you believe otherwise. Don't be deceived. You have a hope, hold onto it, remain "in Christ" be faithful...time is short, shorter than you think, grace and peace
