We are sitting on the anniversary date of the M 9.0 that occurred off the coast of Japan two years ago. We have every reason to suspect another big one is coming over the next 30-60 days.
What does this mean? Earthquakes are signs used by the Lord to get our attention so it means we should pay attention. To what? What is the Spirit saying to the churches?
This brother is in the midst of birthing another miracle by faith. This process has been painful but it will end in another victory. As part of working out this miracle the Lord has given this writer another task, that is to encourage the believers. You can find the beginning of this work here.
I find it amazing how the Lord works. When times were good, when the housing market and economy were booming He had this writer warning. Now that the fullness of the what was warned about is almost upon us He has given this writer the task of encouraging (while the warning goes on).
His timing is amazing. In the days ahead people will need to have prayers answered and have real miracles occur in their lives so He instructs His servants to meet the need. Some brothers have had this task for years, now the Lord has given it to me as well.
This writer has seen prayer answered over and over again. This writer has experienced firsthand many miracles. Is it just for me that these things happen? God is no respecter of persons. What is done for me can and will be done for you. The Lord most certainly answers prayer and performs miracles today. As the words come to me and the Spirit leads you will see more written on the hows and whys and whats of prayers answered and how miracles work out in the lives of believers. He leads someone through an experience so that person can leads others to the same result (victory).
Bad times have fallen on the world in the past and the disease did not reach the roots of the tree so in short order the tree always bounced back quickly. All indications are that this time the sickness the world is experiencing goes all the way down to the roots and the tree will die. What does this mean? We are in the world but not of the world. We are aliens and strangers here. Our source of provision and protection do not come from this place. This should be a great encouragement to us all. Should the believer in right standing with the Lord share in the desolation of the wicked? No. Did Lot share in the destruction of Sodom? No. Did Noah share in the destruction of the world? No. The examples go on, but the point is this. We will have tribulation (not "the" tribulation) in this world but we are always delivered from it. Proof?
We can start here:
Psalm 34:4I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
5Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.
6This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles.
7The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
and he delivers them.
17The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.
18The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
19The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all;
Look at how few verses are quoted above and how many times He says the same thing...think He is trying to get a point across?
Are these just Words on a page or are they real? Does God mean it or not? There are no idle Words written in the Bible. The testimony of this believer is God stands by His Word. He watches over His Word to fulfill it
11so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
“I am watching over my Word to perform it” (Jeremiah 1:12)
There is more to follow. There may be very dark days ahead for this world but we are not without hope. That is what the Spirit is saying to this brother. There is an escape from all coming. What does "all" mean? We will find out in time. What does the Word say about our situation? What are the promises and do we believe them? If we do not have faith we should ask for it and the Lord is faithful to provide it. We must remember to be patient. Many people give up on prayer and seeking their miracle because they are not willing to wait for it. The Lord does not operate according to our deadlines or timeframes. He works according to His time but I can tell you that looking back on the victories He has given me I have never ever been dissapointed in His timing on the day I saw my answer show up. Not once.
Keep the faith. Be watching and ready. Pray, ask, seek, knock and the door will be opened to you.
