Jubilee

Lev 25:8“ ‘Count off seven sabbath years—seven times seven years—so that the seven sabbath years amount to a period of forty-nine years. 9Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land. 10Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants.

Why is it that the media through movies, commercials etc has portrayed 9/23 of this year as such a day of darkness?  What is coming is a Jubilee year, a year to proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants.  Why the dark outlook?  Here is why:

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light
for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

To this world, the good (your liberty) =evil and your slavery (debt or otherwise) =good.  Your freedom =evil so this day of liberty is seen as evil.

What is coming next month?  The beginning of the end of this world order (or kingdom).  This will likely be the very first Jubilee year the modern world has ever seen.  How can we say that?  Although Shemitah years may have been counted off in the past, until the past 49 years they were not counted off with punctuation marks.  Every 7 years for the past 49 years there have been significant observable measurable declines in either the stock or bond markets.  The cycle was saying "hey, look at me, I'm back!"

This Jubilee year corresponds with a bond market meltdown.  The bond market has about 10 times more capital than the equity markets so when it melts down, everyone is going to feel it.  Also, a bond market meltdown specifically affects governments.  The governments of the world that are already overloaded with debt will be capsized by even a fraction of a percent increase in interest rates.

What is the Jubilee about?  Liberty, erasing debt, redemption.  These things are the antithesis of everything this world stands for and therefore this Jubilee year (in their eyes) is to be considered evil.  Likewise, the coming 7 years of tribulation are the beginning of the end of this world's kingdom.  Although the anti-Christ and the mark of the beast system will be introduced, it will be to the back drop of mind bending destruction.  They will get their hour of power but every moment of it will be troubled with divinely introduced calamity.

7 years, a Shemitah cycle is the appointed time they get then its over.  The millennium is right after where our Lord rules and reigns on this earth with a rod of iron.

What is coming is good, but the world will call it evil.  Here's an example that proves this point:

Matthew 24:30 And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man
coming
on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.

All the people of the earth will mourn?  Yes, what is good for us they call evil.  The coming of the Son of Man (we call that good) will cause all of them to mourn.  Good=evil, evil=good for these people.

Another thing the Lord has been opening this servants eyes to are the layers of treasure hidden in the Word.  Yes, there are layers of meaning/treasure hidden in the Word for us to dig out.  Here is another one of those treasures:  The Jubilee/liberty for the people actually points to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Surprised?  He is the Word, everything points to Him but lets stay with this one for a moment.  How does the Jubilee point to Jesus Christ?  The jubilee is about liberty and redemption.  What does the Word say about our Lord?

Isaiah 42:5This is what God the Lord says—
the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out,
who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it,
who gives breath to its people,
and life to those who walk on it:
6“I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness;
I will take hold of your hand.
I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people
and a light for the Gentiles,
7to open eyes that are blind,
to free captives from prison
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.

and again

Isaiah 49:8This is what the Lord says:
“In the time of my favor I will answer you,
and in the day of salvation I will help you;
I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people,
to restore the land
and to reassign its desolate inheritances,
9to say to the captives, ‘Come out,’
and to those in darkness, ‘Be free!’

Thus, the powers that be in this world portray what is coming as a great evil.  Your liberty, your freedom is something they detest.  Their problem is, when the Lord acts, who can undo it?  Who can make straight what the Lord has made crooked?

Luke 3:5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be made low, and
the crooked shall become straight, and the rough places shall become level ways .

Ecclesiastes 7:13  Consider the work of God: who can make straight what he has made crooked?

Glory to God.  What we are about to see is the arm of the Lord at work.  The rulers of this dark world will call it evil but we will call it good.

Thy kingdom come Lord, thy will be done here on earth just as it is in heaven.  So be it.

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
