The republican party in the US is doing everything in its power to stop Donald Trump. That includes making up whatever rules they want (as they have done in the past) to ensure the party gets what they want and the people get to shut up and take it. Not that Trump is good and the republican party are bad, they are all utterly corrupt. Just today I read that both Trump and Hillary dodge taxes using the same exact street address in Delaware. How can either of them ever point the finger at corruption again? Ted Cruz is worse than both Trump and Hillary because he waves a Bible around more than both of them and is just as corrupt if not more so than Hillary.
Hillary Clinton should be in jail, instead she is running for president. If you ever had a security clearance you know that your life and well being are threatened should you violate the smallest part of the law concerning classified material. Dear Hillary had thousands of classified emails, many being Top Secret or higher and guess what? She is not in jail nor will she ever go to jail. Why? Its called lawlessness.
Whats going on in Europe? Those living in Britain are being threatened with Armageddon should they vote to leave the totalitarian, un-elected euro-dictatorship headquartered in Brussels. The people in Europe never voted for or asked for an islamic invasion but thats what the euro-dictators in Brussels gave them.
What does any of this ^^ have to do with the Bible you ask? It has everything to do with it. What is happening today in politics is setting the stage for this:
Rev 6:1I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.
and this:
2 Thess 2:1Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessnessa is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
This world is in an utterly lawless state today and the lawlessness if growing. The democrats and republicans in the United States have this in common: lawlessness. The EU unelected government in Brussels can enact laws in direct defiance of popular votes across Europe? Yep. That's called lawlessness. Lawlessness is reaching a crescendo and when it does, this guy will take center stage:

In case anyone gets deluded into thinking things will be one giant anti-Christ party where people get to do whatever they want in rebellion and wickedness without consequence, there will be some minor problems with their party plans...like this:

holding a pair of scales in his hand.
6Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two poundsa

and do not damage the oil and the wine!”
7When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!”

looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named
Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power
over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by
the wild beasts of the earth.

Rev 8:6Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.

first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed
with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth
was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green
grass was burned up.
8The
second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain,
all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into
blood,
9a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
10The
third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a
torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of
water—
11the name of the star is Wormwood.a
A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.
and these ^^ are just the warm up acts.
Matt 24:12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.
Its going to be hard to party when the the love of many has grown cold. Thats what we are seeing today, the hardening of hearts and love growing cold across this world as lawlessness increases exponentially everywhere around us.
Is it all bad news though? No. I asked the Lord to give me something to give to you today. I'm not sure how to describe this exactly but the best way I can put it into words is He cracked open the veil that separates our spirits from the other side for just a moment. In that moment I knew, my spirit instantly knew that everything is going to be okay for us who believe. Want details? I cannot give them. I knew then, and know now the Lord has us who believe as the apple of His eye. History is repeating itself as it always does (the wicked increase and the remnant are few). The Bible covers that theme over and over again. Whats going to happen to us as this world circles the drain of history? The Lord will take care of us. How? I dont know. When? I don't know. Where? I dont know.
2 Peter 4For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell,a putting them in chains of darknessb to be held for judgment; 5if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; 6if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless 8(for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— 9if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 10This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the fleshc and despise authority.
The Lord knows how to rescue the godly. Period. Thats what the Word says. He said it, I believe it, that settles it (for me). I pray that you are likeminded because we do receive as we believe:
Matt 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would." And his servant was healed at that moment.
What we believe matters. The Lord made many promises to us and I hold Him to every one of them. I combine my faith with His Word and I stand on it to the death. Its all or nothing. Some might say "wow, thats pretty hard brother D" to which I would reply who else is going to answer my prayers? Who else is going to work miracles for me? Who else is going to feed and house my family? I know no one else. It always has been the Lord, it is the Lord today and it will be the Lord tomorrow period. There is no one else. The decision is easy when there is no where else to turn.
What should we who believe be doing? Seeking His presence and power. Walking with Him and talking with Him. In short, getting to know our God in increasing measure each day
Daniel 11:32 With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but
the people who know their God will firmly resist him.
