This morning the Lord said "I am bigger than your problems." Let that one sink in deep.
Everywhere you look there is bad news. The headlines keep coming. The stories of hostility against Christians, against Jewish people, and against those who love America seem to pile up without end. It is easy to feel like the tide of evil is rising and nothing can stop it. But I want to tell you something true today. It is going to be okay.
We have been here before. We lived through the four years under Joe Biden. Those years brought real hardship for many who love this country, who hold to the faith, and who value the freedom this nation was built on. It was difficult. It felt long. And yet we got through it. The country did not end. The people of God did not disappear. The foundations held. What we endured then is proof that we can endure what is in front of us now. God did not abandon His people in those years, and He has not abandoned them today.
There is good news. Christians and Jewish people are standing together in new ways against hatred. Millions of people of faith are speaking up for worship, for truth, and for one another. Patriotic Americans who love the Constitution, who love liberty, and who want a country that protects the good are still here. They are voting. They are praying. They are building. The advance of what is wrong is not a force of nature that cannot be resisted. History is full of moments when darkness looked like it would win, and then the story turned. Empires fall. Movements lose their grip. God raises up people who stand. The tide can turn because the One who holds the ocean is still in control.
The advance of evil is not inevitable. That is not wishful thinking. It is the witness of Scripture and the record of history. God removes kings and sets up kings. He laughs at the schemes of those who set themselves against Him. He works all things together for good for those who love Him. The cross looked like the final victory of evil, and it became the place of redemption. What looks like the end is often the place where God shows that He is still writing the story. Your part in that story is not finished either. You are still here. You can still pray. You can still speak. You can still stand. You can still vote for what protects life and liberty and truth. None of that is wasted. God uses ordinary faithfulness to turn the tide.
So hear this clearly. It is going to be okay. Not because the headlines will suddenly turn pleasant. Not because every problem will vanish overnight. But because our God is bigger than the problem, and He has already proven that His people can come through hard seasons. We got through the Biden years. We will get through this. The good news is still true for Christians, for Jewish people, and for every patriotic American who refuses to believe the darkness has the final word. The advance of evil is not inevitable. Lift your eyes. Keep going. The throne is still occupied, and the One who sits on it is still greater.
Our God is bigger than world communism. He is bigger than the Islamic Caliphate. He is bigger than the "democratic" communists of America. He is bigger than everyone funding the evil that threatens us every day. He is bigger than the principalities and powers of evil that war against us without end. He laughs at all of it.
The enemy tactic right now is in your face Islamo Communism. Jew hating, Christian hating, Israel, and United States hating to its very core. The goal has always been to bring America to its knees so the real prize (Israel) will be a sitting duck, ready for the slaughter. "They" make a big mistake in their calculations because the God of the Bible Himself defends Israel and by extension the United States. "Yea, but brother Dave it says during the tribulation this that and the other bad things will happen." Great point except, we are not in the tribulation yet...
The Restrainer remains on the earth. The Lord God is not yet done with the Church. The current push of islamist far left communism being funded throughout Europe and its current wave of violence and destruction are all peeing in the wind until the Lord God determines its time for the final 7 years. Both Islam (the Crusades) and Communism (the cold war) have been pushed back in the past and they can both be pushed back again.
We are to keep our eyes on Christ regardless of what happens. He is bigger than any of the temporary things good, bad or indifferent taking place on this earth. If all you see is the "news" everyday all you get is a steady diet of lies, disinformation, demoralization, and bad everything else. During this time we are to refix our gaze over and over again back on the good news that is the Person of Jesus Christ.
We made it through 4 years of Joey diapers and the cackling hyena Camel Harris. We will make it through the next 2 years whatever that brings. In the meantime we are doing everything within our power to stem the tide of rot, decay and darkness in this earth. The current leftists are all three, rot, decay and darkness. Eyes on Christ, morning noon and night. The message of Love remains in spite of the rot, decay and darkness. He Loves us, we love him and each other. The path ahead for us is faith, hope, love, joy and peace both as acts of our decisions and willpower as well as the Word of God.
Keep the faith. Fight the good fight.
