Revival

Brother Cahn does a good job in this recent video.  What does he talk about?  We must have revival or else.  Policies changed the right way get changed back the wrong way.  Everything undone from the time of Biden gets redone but worse under the new more rabid left.

Amen.  The people must be changed.  The spirits of humans must be changed, this is a spiritual war.  Revival or getting right again with God does just that.  Also winning new souls to the Kingdom does that.  It is our Lord's Will that all be saved, almost nobody is off the table so we need to be working.  If we have learned one thing from the recent past it is if you give the left an inch they will take you on a ride for miles.  We must fight for every inch of ground.  Nothing must be conceded.  Not one school board seat, not one seat in the house or senate or local city council.  We want it all back.  "But brother D, I thought you said you don't vote."  That was then this is now.  We follow the Lord from moment to moment, somethings never change other things are in continual change.

"But what about Revelation, it says everyone is doomed so why bother?"  Revelation is correct, every Word of it however thats the wrong question.  The question is not "what" is going to happen, we can all read that.  The million dollar question is "when?" And, what about between now and then?  If you are so busy "prepping" and diggin bunkers in your backyard for the tribulation, who is working on getting people into the Kingdom right now?  The harvest is ripe, we need workers out in the field harvesting, not in their backyard digging bunkers...

What is the Spirit saying to the Church today?  Grace and peace to mankind.  Faith, hope, love, joy and restraint of judgement extended to mankind.  Now is the day of salvation.  Now is the time of Grace.  Judgement will be here soon enough however we must remember the lesson from Ecclesiastes:

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV): “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

The full opening of the chapter (Ecclesiastes 3:1–8) lists the paired seasons: born/die, plant/pluck up, kill/heal, break down/build up, weep/laugh, mourn/dance, cast away stones/gather stones, embrace/refrain, get/lose, keep/cast away, rend/sew, silence/speak, love/hate, war/peace.

Core meaning

The Preacher (Qoheleth) is not offering a to-do list or a permission slip for every action. He is observing the ordered, appointed character of time under God’s sovereignty. Seasons arrive and pass; human effort does not control their coming or going. The repeated “time to…” underscores that life is not random chaos and not pure human mastery — it moves in cycles God has set. Wisdom lies in recognizing the season rather than forcing the wrong action at the wrong time.

Multiple angles

  • Literal and agricultural: Ancient Israel lived by sowing and harvest, war and rest, birth and death. The list mirrors real life cycles more than abstract philosophy.
  • Personal life stages: Childhood, building a career or family, loss, recovery, older years of reflection or limitation. What is fitting at one stage can be unwise or destructive at another.
  • Spiritual seasons: Times of sowing (teaching, serving, creating) and times of waiting or pruning. Times of weeping and times of dancing. Faith does not erase the hard seasons; it trusts the One who appoints them (see also the later turn in Ecclesiastes 3:11 — God has “made every thing beautiful in his time” and set eternity in the human heart).
  • Discernment vs. fatalism: The passage is not “everything is relative” or “do whatever feels right.” It is closer to “there is an appropriate time for each of these; wisdom seeks to know which season this is.” Contrast with the New Testament emphasis on walking by the Spirit and redeeming the time (Ephesians 5:15–16).
  • Limits of human control: Even the strongest person cannot permanently hold a season that God is ending or force one He has not yet opened. That humility is the practical fruit of the text.

Practical implications

  • Patience and timing: Rushing a harvest, forcing a relationship, speaking when silence is required, or building when it is time to break down usually multiplies pain. The opposite is also true — perpetual hesitation when the season for action has arrived wastes the appointed time.
  • Acceptance without passivity: Recognizing “a time to…” does not mean resignation. It means aligning effort with the season rather than fighting the clock. Plant when it is time to plant; grieve when it is time to grieve; speak when it is time to speak.
  • Eternity in the heart: The chapter does not stop at the list. Verse 11 and the rest of Ecclesiastes keep pointing beyond the cycles to the God who stands outside them. The seasons make sense only in light of that larger reality.
  • For content and witness: This passage has long been a natural bridge — poetic, memorable, and honest about both joy and sorrow. It pairs well with themes of trust, waiting, and God’s faithfulness across changing circumstances.

We live in the Age of Grace today.  The Church is to offer the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this world.  We are here both to glorify our God and serve Him, doing what we were told to do which is make disciples/preach the good news.

Brother Cahn's video was timely.  This world is on the clock.  We will see what happens in the mid terms, but regardless of what happens we have a job to do and way to do it.  Our operating software is coded with faith, hope, love, joy and peace.  When the people living under the darkness in this world see that light, they might be saved.

The Spirit has impressed this nobody with the need to turn the corner on the messages of doom and gloom "from the watchmen on the wall."  This world needs faith, hope and love alot more than it needs another reminder of how dark things are...

Please join with your brother in praying over the prayer targets today.
