Not Easily Shaken

2 Thess 2: 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

The day of Christ, also known as the day of the Lord will not come until the falling away (apostasy), and the revelation of anti-christ. The falling away (apostasy) is in full blossom today, no more waiting for that, next thing up to enable the day of the Lord to proceed is the unveiling of the anti-christ.

The anti-christ shows up on the world stage NOT making peace pacts, but CONQUERING.

Rev 6 Then I saw the lamb open the first of the seven seals. I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Go!” 2Then I looked, and there was a white horse! Its rider had a bow, and a victor's crown had been given to him. He went out as a conqueror to conquer.

Notice with me that not a word about 'peace' is spoken there when the seal is opened, or any of the seals that follow the first seal.

Just before Paul speaks of the "day of the Lord" and the things that must happen before the day of the Lord, he mentions our gathering together unto Jesus...also known as the rapture.

2 Thess 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

2 entirely different events are pictured here: 1. our gathering together unto him (the escape) and 2. the day of Christ. Paul comforts the thessalonian church by telling them that the escape preceeds the day of the Lord, and the falling away/reveal of anti-christ comes before the day of the Lord. So don't be troubled thinking the day of the Lord is upon you. The same comfort applies to us today. What we are seeing around us is NOT the day of the Lord.....however....the apostasy is full blown, and the revelation of anti-christ could happen in one hour of one day, in other words, NOW, any time now. Which means what? If the escape preceeds the day of the Lord, and the day of the Lord is almost upon us, the escape is imminent.

Picture for a moment what one day in the future might look like:

In the early dark of some morning, POOF those found worthy are gathered to the Lord. The world wakes up to chaos, people missing, and organizational chaos. Then this figure shows up on the world stage CONQUERING. He is marvelously good at war and rapidly defeats those he attacks. This puts us at seals 2-6 of Rev 6, and it can all happen in one day. In the same way that so called christianity supported the wars of George Bush, they will support the wars of anti-christ. You can be sure that he knows how to wave a flag and get you motivated for his causes. Any figure who does show up to make peace in the middle east won't be the anti-christ. When someone can show me a peace deal with Israel in Rev 6 I'll change my mind. There's no peace deal in Daniel 9:27 either when you read the septuagint, the most accurate translation of the old testament.

Dan 9:27 (septuagint) And one week shall establish the covenant with many: and in the midst of the week my sacrifice and drink-offering shall be taken away: and on the temple shall be the abomination of desolations; and at the end of time an end shall be put to the desolation.

I don't see anything about a peace deal with Israel and anti-christ there^^^^^nothing...

Now that we are in a new year, my internal clock has reset to countdown between now and Rosh Hashanah 2009. The Lord could pull us out of here at any moment now, but Rosh Hashanah is the one time of year that has escape written all over it. These are exciting times. We are living out the end of the world that people have wondered about for thousands of years, we are LIVING IT! Its easy to get caught up in the day to day small things and miss the big picture.

Remember the double edged sword we live: 1 side of the sword is the patience to wait for the escape for another 100 years if we need to. The other side of the sword is the readiness to leave this earth TODAY if Jesus should call on us. We have to do both. It's easy to do one or the other , but not both, and become unstable.

Life does'nt go on hold while we expect Jesus to show up. We are servants with talents in our hands today (Matt 25) and we are expected to do something with them. What we are called to do, with what talents we have is a matter for you and the Spirit of God to figure out. No other man can tell you what you are supposed to learn through your relationship with Jesus Christ. No amount of "fee for service" jiffy lube christianity will clue you into what it is the Lord would have you do. Whats in your heart to do for him? What can you do with the little strength that we, the Philadelphia church, has these days? Things that seem little to you, can be very big to someone else. A little seed can grow into a very large tree. One man plants, another waters, but only the LORD makes things grow...

1 Corinthians 3 :6 (YLT) Who, then, is Paul, and who Apollos, but ministrants through whom ye did believe, and to each as the Lord gave? 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was giving growth; 7 so that neither is he who is planting anything, nor he who is watering, but He who is giving growth -- God; 8 and he who is planting and he who is watering are one, and each his own reward shall receive, according to his own labour, 9 for of God we are fellow-workmen; God's tillage, God's building ye are.

Remain "in Christ", be pure in heart, time is short, grace and peace

Preparing For the Worst in 2009

I've read things written by people who call themselves christians that tell you you should be buying survival equipment and building a bunker in your backyard for what's coming on the world. Coincidentally many of the people telling you to buy and build these things also SELL the very things they say you should buy...go figure.

I've asked the Lord many times what we should be doing to get ready for what's coming, and I can tell you that I draw an absolute blank when it comes to survival equipment. I think its probably prudent to do some small things for natural disaster preparation, but what can you actually do to prepare for the end of the world as we know it?

Here's an example the Lord gave me, that I now pass on to you of "preparation" for what's about to happen to this world:

Rev 12: 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Our bibles tell us that GOD, not Israel, has prepared a place in the wilderness for this time that's coming. Likewise we know that Jesus coming will be like what happened with Noah and Lot (Matt 24, Luke 17). Noah was given exact specifications and instructions to build and ark. Lot was escorted out of Sodom by angels. Noah took refuge "in the ark" we take refuge "in Christ."

Luke 21:36 tells us there is an escape coming. Matt 25 tells us we have to be ready if we expect to go into the wedding feast. Rev 3:10 tells us that a weak church that has held onto the Word will be kept from the hour of trial that is to come on the entire world. We are in 2009 now, it's time to take our readiness to a higher level. The virgins counted worthy of the wedding had oil in their lamps, that is, they were filled with the Holy Spirit, which means they are "in Christ."

Be not deceived. Read Luke 21:36 again..here it is:

Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

What I want you to pay attention to is "accounted worthy" and "stand before the Son of man."

Next, remember this? Matthew 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

and

Psalm 24:3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.'

When you stand before the Son of man, you will be seeing God. Matt 5:8 and Psalm 24 point out to us that those who are PURE IN HEART will see God. So, at a minimum, being "accounted worthy" of the escape includes being PURE IN HEART.

Contrast that to the so called christian teachers who tell you that homosexuals and people who "sin all the time" will be raptured. I don't want to pick on any one sin in particular, I want to point out the peril of all sin. If you are not pure in heart, and you expect to see God, are'nt you deceived? I did'nt say the pure in heart will see God...JESUS DID.

This is another reason why Matt 7:14, Matt 7:21 and Rev 2-3 were written. Few will be saved. Why? Love of deception rather than love of the truth. Matt 7:21 tells us many who call themselves christian will be called evildoers and told to go away. Rev 2-3 tells us that 1 out of 7 churches of Revelation gets to be kept from the hour of trial coming on the entire world.

These things written to you today are to remind you of what God said, not to beat you down. Our minds need to be continually renewed so we do not conform to this world.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Prepare your minds and hearts for whats coming. We live in this world but we are not of this world. Be ready for the escape, the FACT is, ITS COMING. We are closer today than we ever have been to it. We have been patiently waiting for it, and its almost here. We have to have the patience to enable us to wait years into the future and the prayerful readiness that will enable us to leave here today. It's a double edged sword. If you are ready today but lack patience, you'll fall into the "cry wolf" trap and tomorrow fall away from your readiness. If you are patient, expecting the escape years in the future, but do not have the readiness today to leave today, you may fall into the "foolish virgin" trap of Matt 25. You need both, patience, and readiness. Test yourself today to determine if you are "in the faith" as Paul said. I'm not the one told to test you, YOU are told to test you. Your test today is to determine if you are pure in heart, because only the pure in heart will see God.

Sin Not

Psalm 4

4 Tremble ye, and do not sin;' Say ye thus in your heart on your bed, And be ye silent. Selah.

8 In peace together I lie down and sleep, For Thou, O Jehovah, alone, In confidence dost cause me to dwell!

The Psalm says "tremble ye, and do not sin"....Tremble? Yes, tremble, why did the Holy Spirit use that word? There's a reason this idea of "fear of the Lord" is in the bible. Men should not fear those who can kill the body, but they should fear him who can throw both body and soul into hell. These days, with the world falling down around our heads, people are looking for safety and security. Remember maslow's hierarchy of needs? It's right there at the top, and safety is one of those needs right above eating and sleeping, which is why is such a powerful tool for control of the masses. The thing is, the Lord said that he would be the one who could cause you to dwell in safety. He is our source for everything. We as believers are sons of God, we eat at the kings table, which means we play by the kings rules. One of the top rules is DO NOT SIN.

The Lord has an interesting way of bringing things to my attention. I ask questions all the time and sometimes it takes the Lord quite awhile to answer them. He answers when it pleases him to answer, anyhow, pertaining to this question of WHY so few will be saved (MAtt 7:14) he point this out to me:

Matt 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you;

7:14 how strait is the gate, and compressed the way that is leading to the life, and few are those finding it!

7:21 'Not every one who is saying to me Lord, lord, shall come into the reign of the heavens; but he who is doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens

7 verses after Jesus telling us to seek, and knock, he tells us how few will be those who find the way of life, then 7 verses later he tells us about those who call him "Lord" but won't be admitted to the kingdom. He brings to my attention a question to answer a question...what are people "seeking" for? Which doors are people "knocking" on? The answer to these questions will shed light on why few will make it through the narrow gate and why the many who call him "Lord" won't be granted entrance to the kingdom.

When men seek other men for their safety and security, but do not seek the Lord's face in prayer, do you think that pleases the Lord? When men are knocking on every worldly door they can find, but they fail to knock on Jesus' door, do you think that pleases the Lord? Men's first choice over and over again is to seek the world, a great example was this past presidential (s)election, where all the so called christians pandered for McBush to win so he could save America? Obama may be the anti-christ but McBush was any better? Bush basically destroyed America over the past 8 years and the same so called christians clamored to get another guy in the white house who is just like him? My point is not which of the crooks got elected, my point is that so called christianity seeks the world to save them. Instead of working for a kingdom that is not of this world, they belong to the kingdoms of this world. We live in the world but we are not of the world, they just don't get it. Seek and you will find. Todays so called church seeks the world and finds the world and look where we have arrived? This place is a royal mess, and the blame for it lays squarely at the feet of so called christianity. If they were "salt" the world would'nt be rotting right now. If they were "light" the world would'nt be so dark right now. As things stand the world is rotting and dark, which is all the evidence you need to know that so called christianity today is a fraud. They are a business willing to service (weekly) you for a fee(tithe), setup by their tax-exempt CEO's called "pastors."

When you understand that only few will be saved, it should alarm you. It should cause you to search the face of God to determine why such a tragedy will take place. It should motivate you to use all your strength to not let that happen to you. A warning before tragedy takes place is a gift of life, unfortunately many people just see it as criticism and continue on their broad path journey to the wide gate that leads to destruction. The feel that since they are with the "herd" of many people on this broad path, they must be in the right place. Most people must be right when they all believe and do the same things, and small groups outside the mainstream must be wrong because there are only a few of them, or so they think. One day the people who think this way will be in for a rude awakening. The world they sought comfort from sold them down the river. The God of creation has been waiting and watching with his grace extended for anyone and everyone who will accept it. It appears today that not many are "seeking" or "knocking" on his door.

Remember, everything called Jesus is not the real Jesus. Everything called "christian" is not true christian. Prayers to "a" god are not prayers to THE God. This world is full of frauds, full of lies, and full of deceit. Satan is no dummy. He is the master of sending souls to hell, and those who do not love the truth enough to sell out for it will most likely be deceived. Time is short, I don't see any of this as rocket science. How hard is this command to understand: "Do not sin" Not rocket science to understand, you don't need some crackerjack box theology degree to figure it out, you don't need some hireling pastor to help you understand it. You need the Holy Spirit to DO it, which means you need to be "in Christ." A weak church will be kept from the hour of tempation thats coming on the whole world to test it (rev 3:10). An escape is coming for those who are found worthy of it (luke 21:36).

If you think that people who "sin all the time" will be counted worthy of the rapture, well, I guess you will find out soon whether you are right or not.....Sin must be rooted out and kept out, just like you must get "in Christ" and REMAIN "in Christ."

It's easy to "get married" but not so easy to "remain married" right? Just like its easy to accept the grace offered through faith to enter into Christ, but not so easy to remain "in Christ." Does that jive with what we're told in Matt 7:14 that only a few will be saved, and Matt 7:21 where many who call him Lord will be told "away from me you evildoers, I never knew you?" Yea, it does, fits like a glove.

I don't care about being "right" as much as I care about your soul not being in hell. Be not deceived. grace and peace

A Word About Christ-Mass and 2009

It's that time of year again. In the past I railed against the pagan holiday that has been "christianized" called "christmas. I see two sides to this issue now. The first side is that christmas originated in paganism, and through history, became "christianized." Have looked into it myself, that day has been ruined for me. On the other hand, I see legal ground in the bible for a person to celebrate any day they want to, as long as its "to the Lord."

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

So if you celebrate chistmas (pagan origins and all) I see a legal argument for you to do that. I you dont celebrate christmas because of its pagan origins, you also do that "to the Lord." As things stand, I tolerate christmas because other apparently don't care about the paganism involved or don't know. Christmas is like everything else in this world, tainted and impure. i was shopping yesterday for some food and there were christmas carols playing in the supermarket and they just sounded out of place. You could look around at people's faces and see the tension, see the strain. These days are not days for "happy holiday" songs, they are days for serious reflection and repentance. Repentance means turning away from sin (and not returning to it).

As I look ahead to 2009 I see tribulation-like events taking place. This world is dieing. There are man-made calamities coming, and there are earth calamities coming. I am surprised that the world has come this far without going belly up. The trend line is unmistakable and there's no end in sight for the fall this world is taking. There are those who criticize us for looking for the escape promised in Luke 21:36. That escape is to enable those worthy of it, to leave this place before punishment and wrath falls. Why should those who do not deserve to be punished be punished? If you are "in Christ" your sins have been removed from you as far as the east is from the west. You have become sqeaky clean, by grace, through faith. Those who are not "in Christ" have a stack of sins on their head starts at their feet and reaches into the heavens, and they will be held accountable for each and every one of them.

Jesus came and died for us for a reason, to atone for mens sins. You get credit for Christs deeds when you are "in Him" "in Christ" which is why it is repeated over and over again "remain in me" "abide in me" Why? So you get credit for what has been done. Time is short. So called christianity is rotten and getting worse by the day. The proof of wholesale apostasy in churchianity today is the lack of salt and light in the world today. Corruption, greed, death and decay are everywhere, along with churches on every street corner. If these churches were salt, the world would'nt be a rotting corpse that it is today.

This blog was started in part, to let people know that true christianity still exists APART...SEPERATE from the apostate form of Christianity we see in 90+% of the churches today. If you tried what you thought was christianity in the past, and left with a bad taste in your mouth, join the club, but please don't think that's all that's out there for you. There is a pure, true God out there. There is the true son of God who may be found by you today. Go pick up a version of the bible you can understand and start taking baby steps with it. Read Psalms and proverbs first. Don't try to tackle it all in a day, be patient. The truth WILL set you free, if you really want it. You can find the truth if you really want it. The God of creation can see in your heart to know if you are playing games or if you are serious about finding him. Peace for your soul is the reward for finding the truth. Look around you, what price would most people put on peace for their soul right now? They "go to church" and they are still troubled, no power, no peace, rot and darkness everywhere, why do they keep going back to get "serviced" by Jiffy Lube christianity?

The hand of grace is outstretched to you today. Our God has not started the cleansing process that will wreak havoc on this world yet. You can get right with him today. The life boats are about to part ways with the sinking ship and I'd like you to be on one of those boats. I can't find the truth for you, I can't be intimate in relationship with Christ for you, YOU have to do it. You can do it. Summon what little strength you have left today, and inch toward the Creator of all things, and see how very good he really is. You are dearly loved, grace and peace

Social Unrest and Psycological Impacts

As we approach 2009, its important to know what we are looking at for what it really is, not what people wish it would be. The things coming at us like a freight train will be a shock to many. Shock leads to instability, and instability leads to destruction. That's why armies like to have "shock troops" when they go to war, if you can "shock" the enemy, you can wipe them out.

Many people read the things written on this blog and consider it all too negative. They'd rather have someone blow pipedreams in their ears. If the Lord should tarry, we will all see things that will send many people into a tailspin. As the reality of what's happening to the world really sinks in, people will be overcome by fear, and many will become angry at those who "did this to them." This is a formula for massive civil unrest, and its why the Army has been moving combat brigades back here to the United States. It's also why Obama said he wants a "civilian security force" just as well funded and just as well trained, and manned as the military.......question is, why? For what? You know what...to keep an eye on YOU.

The timing of these things is too coincidental to be just happenstance. At precisely the time that all the babyboomers were to retire and start taking their money out of the stock market, we have global economic collapse? Now instead of baby boomers retiring, a handfull of bankers will buy a few extra yachts and jets, while the baby boomers can plan to work themselves into the grave. Brilliant plan. You did'nt think all the hard work over decades was so people who earned the money could actually enjoy it do you? No....it was so the bankers could take it from you at just the right time!

Ok, so whats the point? As the babyboomers awaken to the fact that they have no retirement, that they will need to work till they drop, there's going to be some social problems. With more boomers in remaining in the workforce, there are less spots in a declining economy for young people to enter the workforce. So you've got unemployment for the young, and boomers working till they drop where they are lucky enough to keep a job. See those riots going on in Greece right now? They are going on week 3, or 4 now. Remember I said that could easily be happening here? Give it time.

Those people who would rather bury their head in the sand rather than face the fact that this world is in its death throes are in for a rude awakening. When they finally "get it" it may be their undoing. The bible tell us that the heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, not the house of pleasure. Sounds pretty negative huh? Men have been given thousands of years to see what they could make of this world and look at it. This place is a royal mess. Kick the Creator out of everything and what do you get? Decay, death, emptiness, darkness. Death is what sin will get you.

I'll say this again this morning, now is the time to renew your committment to the God of eternity. Today is the time to get right with Jesus. Today is the time to abide in him, remain in him. "In Christ" all your sins are forgiven, "in Christ" you are filled with the Holy Spirit, "in christ", you are "saved." The Lord did'nt say the same things over and over again to hear himself speak. He said "remain in me" "abide in me" for a reason. Remain and abide mean you need to get "in Christ" and STAY THERE. The fact that Jesus told you to remain means its possible for you to NOT REMAIN. No other man can snatch you out of Jesus hands, but you, like the prodigal son can walk right out the front door and go wallow in the the pig sti that is this world. Did the father in the prodigal son story barricade the front door when the prodigal son asked for his inheritance and went out to squander it? No, he did not. Jesus has shown you in John 15 that you must remain "in the vine" which is to say "in Christ." Those who do not remain are burned up. Read it again, John 15, its right there in plain english.

Jesus is coming back soon. I have no idea what "soon" means, but I do have the word of the Lord which tells us to WATCH and be ready so we may be like the wise virgins in Matt 25 who were able to enter the wedding feast. We want to be among those who are counted WORTHY (luke 21:36) to escape all thats about to happen on this earth. We must be ready for the Lord to return at any moment, but be patient enough to do this for years should the Lord tarry. Every sign that could point to Jesus' imminent return is pointing to that very thing today. Be of good cheer, the escape is still AHEAD OF US, not behind us. We have something very very very VERY wonderful to look forward to. This world is full of darkness and distress, the day of the Lord appears to draw near. While we walk through these days of darkness, determine what you can do, where you are, with what you have, to please the Lord. I have no idea what that is for you, only you and He know what that is. The true church is scattered and weak. Rev 3:10 tells us that the philadelphia church has "little strength" but with the little strength it does have, it should but that strength to use. Don't bury the "little strength" you have left during these dark days. What can you do to please HIM/Jesus today? Use your little strength, be light, be salt. Know that the Lord loves you in a way that is so great, our minds cannot wrap around it. His thoughts toward you number more than the sand of the seashore. Be encouraged, be of good cheer, our Lord has overcome this world. Be patient. Do not be like the unfruitful servant who buried his talent and had zero to show for it on the day that the Lord showed up.

Matt 25:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. 16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The wicked and slothful servant was punished for doing NOTHING with what his Lord have given him, he buried it. Figure out what you have that the Lord has given you, and what you can do, ANYTHING you can do with it is better than burying it in the ground. Is praying "doing" You bet it is. Is praying hard work? You bet it is. Does praying please the Lord? You bet it does. There, I just have you a headstart on figuring out where to start..(and maybe finish) :-)

The Lord is not asking you to do things you cannot do. He asks you to do things you can do. He does'nt ask you to use talents you don't have, he wants you to use the talent you do have. When the Lord shows up soon, would'nt it be nice to greet him at the door and say "I've been expecting you Lord?"

Things are going from bad to worse in this world, but we can still watch and we can still pray. There is an escape coming from ALL that's about to happen. That shoud encourage you. The true church is weak, Jesus knows that, re-read Rev 3:10. Because we have held onto Jesus' word and have not denied his name, we pray that we will be kept from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole word.

The world is in free fall and nobody can see a bottom to the fall. It's starting to really sink in that this time things might really really get bad. People are feeling completely helpless and out of control. Sometime soon, I expect a man with all the answers to show up. Just think about how a man would be treated if the only thing he could do is fix the world's economic problems. He would be hailed as a living god...do you doubt it? The bible tells us that this man is coming. He may already be here. The falling away has already happened. Christianity is in full apostasy, the only thing left for the day of the Lord to start is the revelation of who the anti-christ is.

The anti-christ shows up CONQUERING and to conquer (rev 6), not making peace deals. The escape and war are the next events to show up on the world timeline. Reading through the book of revelation, you can see how this transformation from the world as you knew it, to the world as its going to be pans out. It won't be long before this world is completely unrecognizable. From a purely earth/nature perspective, consider what the earth will look like:

1/3 of all the trees will be burned up and there will be NO MORE green grass..NONE. Let that sink in. Picture the earth with 1 out of every 3 trees burned up and no green grass. People think we have environmental problems now...

Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. 8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

1 out of every 3 sea creatures dies? Yep

Next, a third of the waters on earth are poisoned and many men die from that. Poisoned water, no grass, dead trees, no grass, sound like people are going to have a hard time living?

I bring these things up to encourage you to set your heart on the escape thats coming. An escape is promised from all thats about to happen. We should pray that we are found worthy of it. We should strive to be found spotless, blameless at his coming so we will not be ashamed. The right attitude to have is "I'm striving for perfection, attempting to please my master in every way. I want to be just like my Lord" NOT "I sin all the time like everyone else and you can take me in the rapture anyway..."

Many people will be unpleasantly surprised on the day of the escape. I pray that you and I will not be among the dissapointed.

No End to the Future Drama 2009+

I told you about the book "electromagnetic reversals and evolutionary leaps" that explains to us why 'evolution' is ridiculous, and explains the calamities that have befallen the earth in the past, like the extinction of the dinosaurs. It explains why many dinosaur bone fragments have been found to be highly radioactive! You don't hear much about that in your school history books. Anyway, my point today is: we have MORE signs that things are shaping up to get 'exciting' here on earth, but maybe not in a very good way.

The reason I point these things out is....There are those saying "the end is not near" but every sign, every signal we see as a result of WATCHING tells us the end is indeed near.

If the only thing mankind was facing was global economic meltdown, things would'nt be so dire. As things stand however, we face much much more than just financial meltdown. Our bibles predicted 2000 years ago that things on this earth would get SO BAD that mens hearts would fail them from FEAR of what was coming on the earth:

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken

Now we are seeing scientific evidence of these very things "coming on the earth." Signs, signs everywhere, but who is paying attention?

Do your eyes and ears deceive you? Does that inner witness that tells us the end IS nigh lie to you? I don't think so. I think all humans can feel it. Everyone can sense that all is NOT okay these days. What can man do to prevent the catastrophes that are coming on the earth? Can obama or paulson or bernanke stop them? The earth is heavy with its sins. The blood of innocents cries out for justice and justice has not been sleeping. This is what's coming, despite what the pope and those like him say:

The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.
17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Don't you find it interesting that the Lord should mention 'silver and gold' delivering men? The rich of this world, those who exploit all mankind think their riches can deliver them from everything. I think they are in for a REALLY big surprise. These people who take from the poor to give to the rich have a day coming tailor made for their deeds. They will reap what they have sown. Justice is coming and it won't be pretty.

Mankind is about to find out just how terrible the result of their sin can be. Men have sown in sin and they will reap DEATH.

Science is showing us today that a day of reckoning is coming. This earth is about to go into spasms the likes of which no man alive today has seen or imagined. Todays economic crisis is the least of things men should be worrying about. The four horsemen are coming, the seals, the trumpets the vial judgements are coming. A day of gloom and darkness is coming, its known as the DAY OF THE LORD. Men can attempt to retionalize around it, but deep in their gut, they can feel it coming....

Has this world ever found itself in a place where so many different calamities have aligned against it? Social unrest, poverty, unemployment, famine, war, disease, peace is nowhere to be found. Men exhibit the telltale signs that we ARE living in the end days:

2 Timothy 3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Luke 21 lays everything out for you from start to finish. At the beginning we see:

5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, 6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

and at the end we see this:

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

In between is everything that constitutes "all these things" that we will escape from if we are found worthy of the escape.

I write these things to you to motivate you to do what you are called to do. Watch, pray, be ready. Keep you lamp burning, be READY for the master when he shows up. The only thing our Lord has not done to signal his arrival is blare it from megaphones from the clouds. He has given some of his servants the job of reminding people of what has already been written. As for me, my job is to cast a floodlight on the apostasy of the church and remind you of the stern warnings THE CHURCH, not unbelievers have been given. Read Matt 7:14, Matt 7:21, and Rev 2-3 over and over and over again, then let it sink in. One of my friends asked me awhile ago "is that all you're going to talk about?" Well YES.....that's my job, thats the task I've been given so I'm doing exactly that. Over and over again like a broken record. I bring up other things, but at the core, my task is to point to Read Matt 7:14, Matt 7:21, and Rev 2-3 over and over again.

The Lord does not speak to hear the sound of his own voice. He sends forth his word to accomplish a purpose. Time is short, I'm done for today. Love, grace and peace

Looking Ahead at 2009

I've picked up on the radar some information from different sources that points toward flooding of low lying areas around the world next year. I normally don't mention things until I see it from a few different places. The latest place that has me posting about it this morning is a report out of the pentagon:

What has the people in the pentagon so scared is that the earth changes can't be attacked like a foreign army. You just have to brace for the changes, make what changes you can, then take the rest on the chin. Other things I've read about this same subject place the flooding sometime in 2009. As if economic collapse was'nt enough, it appears the earth is going contribute to hell on earth in its own special way.

"Global warming" has been blamed for all the climate change, and it seems as with everything else we've been told, its a lie too. From what I've read, especially from the book magnetic reversals and evolutionary leaps, its been changes in the earths magnetic field that have done the real damage throughout history. Regardless of the culprit, our God foretold thousands of years ago what was coming. When the weather starts acting up, crops are affected, when crops are affected, people starve to death. Do you remember the four horsemen of the apocalypse (Rev 6)? Famine is one of them, war is another, anti-christ is another. I have to say, from where I sit, 2009 is shaping up to be a model year for the events I see described in Rev 6.

The other things that hit me yesterday was the idea that we don't have to wait long to find out exactly whats going to happen, 2009 is 2 weeks and a day away. I've been asking the Lord repeatedly what's going to happen next year, so far I have'nt "heard" anything. Then again, I never have, I seem to have the thoughts percolate up from my spirit to my soul through whatever barrier the Lord placed there in all men. When even the heathen are using the words "end of days," then you know we're onto something here.

The Lord told us to watch and pray. As part of my watching, I'm getting a real eyefull. Never in my life have I seen the universal curtain of doom that has fallen over the people of this world. Interestingly, but not surprisingly, the only people who seem to be ignoring the hell on earth that's about to break out is the folks on The Beast Network (TBN) and its related satellites. They are still predicting good things to happen in 2009 ONLY IF people continue to GIVE MONEY...imagine that! Who would have thought? LOL. The blackest darkness is reserved for most of the people who appear on those networks. We are staring the tribulation in the face and all they seem to care about is getting you to give more money. My family gives money, but not a red cent goes to shady preachers. Every penny goes DIRECTLY to needy families. If you really want to give, give directly to the poor and needy. Do you think the Lord will be upset with you for shunning the apostate church and giving directly to the needy? I think not:

James 1:27 Pure, unstained religion, according to God our Father, is to take care of orphans and widows when they suffer and to remain uncorrupted by this world.

Looks to me like I can have "PURE UNSTAINED RELIGION" without ever giving a penny or listening to single word that todays apostate, so called christian preachers have to say, isn't that grand?

I've been saying that all appearances are that 2009 is going to be a really really bad year, but you don't need me to tell you that to figure it out for yourself do you? Just look around. The bright side is, if "all these things" are about to happen, then the "escape from ALL these things" is about to happen sooner. We know that destruction for this world is coming just like it happened with Lot and Noah. The day Lot left Sodom, destruction fell. The day Noah entered the ark, it started raining. The day the true church "escapes," all hell breaks loose on earth. When I say "all hell breaks loose" that's not exactly what the bible says, however the bible exactly says that whatever IS coming, will be so bad as to cause mens hearts to fail them for FEAR. I imagine thats pretty bad, don't you?

We should be motivated by both the bad things coming on the earth, and the good things waiting for us in the presence of our Lord. The "hell on earth" issues are like a boot to the rear-end "pushing" us toward heaven, the grace and love and the pleasure of being with our God forever "pulls" us toward heaven. Only a glutton for punishment, or those completely in love with this world would want to be around when our God's wrath falls. The church is not destined for wrath, or vengeance. What's coming is both wrath AND vengeance:

Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Revelation 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Romans 2:5 But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart ...
... But because of your stubborn and unrepentant heart you are reserving wrath for yourself on the day of wrath, when God's righteous judgment will be revealed

1 Thessalonians 5 :9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ..

Luke 21 :36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Revelation 3 :10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown

I want to encourage you this morning, to keep your eyes on the prize. We are on a sinking ship called "this world." There are life boats enough for all of us, but only those found "worthy" get to enter the life boats and escape the sinking ship. The ship is taking on water faster and faster every day, but instead of people standing at the boarding area for the life boats, they are still down at the bar getting drunk, playing monopoly in their rooms, sunning themselves on the deck. Many people look at the world and ask "what can I do about all that's going on?" YOU CAN PRAY, you can watch, you can be READY. Jesus told you to WATCH, not fix the Federal Reserve system. Jesus told you to PRAY, not vote Mcbush or Obama into office. Jesus told you to BE READY like the wise virgins in Matt 25, NOT fix the economy. Everything Jesus told you to do YOU CAN DO, question is: will you?

I've been saying that everything seems to be aligning to make 2009 a really really bad year. 2009 appears to be shaping up to be a 'tribulation-like' year. We all know that the financial situation is dire, just wait until there's no food. Let me stop for a moment here to say, this is not a time to slip into fear. The world should be afraid, if you are "in Christ" you should not be afraid. Your Lord and master knows what you need and when you need it, not to mention, you Lord knows the timing of everything.

I'll say this, I am watching. What I see from where I stand here at the end of 2008 is all hell breaking loose in 2009. You don't have to be overly predictive to guess at something like that do you? If we see something coming that looks like tribulation, smells like tribulation, walks like tribulation, and talks like tribulation, maybe we could guess that it IS tribulation? A watchman on the wall warns those inside the city of what he sees. I'm a watchman, and I'm warning of what I see.

There's a reason "homeland security" has existed for 7 years now, to prepare to deal with whats coming in the very near future. There's a reason why 20,000 combat hardened Army troops were recently brought back and given to Northern Command-the command that deals with internal security for America. The 'powers that be' know what's coming, they are preparing for it. Our bible has told us what's coming 2,000 years in advance. The only people who should be surprised by all this are those who have their heads buried in the sand saying "this is not happening, this is not happening." Well, sorry to tell them, this IS happening. I've recently read articles hot off the press from so called christian authors who say that sexual perverts will be taken in the rapture. The claim that everyone, no matter how disobedient, no matter how faithless will get to escape in the rapture. There's a big problem I see with their argument, and that problem is summed up in one word...WORTHY. You see, Jesus told us to pray that we may be counted WORTHY of the escape that is coming. As with everything else that Jesus said, these so called christians choose to ignore the specific words Jesus used since they think that the bible is some kind of spiritual buffet where you can pick and choose which words have meaning and which don't. Unfortunately for them, Jesus meant EVERYTHING he said, every word of it. When he said "pray that you may be counted worthy" that means there's a NEED to pray SPECIFICALLY that you may be counted worthy. That command to pray that prayer also tells us that some WONT be counted worthy. Based on Matt 7:14 I think we can say MOST won't be counted worthy.

Why do I say that? Well, what does "only a few" will go through the narrow gate of Matt 7:14 mean? When you've got so called christians teaching that homosexuals and faithless, disobedient men will be "counted worthy" to escape in the rapture, you start to understand that so called christianty just does'nt "get it." Jesus told us, that's BELIEVERS to pray that we may be counted worthy of the escape....Why would he tell us to do that? What does Jesus know about the 'worthiness' factor that determines who escapes and who does'nt?

Pray that you may be counted worthy....you and I need to take those words VERY seriously. Unfortunately, many many people are going to be very very dissapointed on the day that the escape happens. Men have trusted hired hand pastors to 'intermediate' with God, when there is now only ONE intermediary between God and man, Jesus Christ. These so called 'men of god' and their 'flock' of teachers are leading the whole world off a cliff.

A weak church will be kept from the hour of temptation that's coming on the whole world (rev 3:10). Only those counted WORTHY of the escape will escape all thats about to happen (luke 21:36). Only a FEW go through the narrow gate that leads to life (Matt 7:14). I wish I could move from these same scriptures that I blog on day after day after day, but something inside me tells me that until the day I leave this earth, the same message needs to be communicated. Until people 'get it' the scriptures included here won't budge. I don't see people 'getting it' anytime soon, so don't expect the message to change.

Another thing I'll say is, I don't enjoy harping on the same things over and over again, but I have been given a mission, and I'll carry it out exactly as ordered till the very end. The Lord has his servants doing various things for him in the world during these last days. This is one of the things I do.

The apostasy of the church is fully ripe. You've got people who call themselves christians telling you that all you need to do is make a 5 second 'decision' for Jesus then you are definitely, 100% going to enter throught the narrow gate that leads to life (Matt 7:14). Statistics tell me that most of the people in the United States call themselves christians-they 'made a decision'. The bible tells me only a few will make it into the gate that leads to life. So far, nobody within so called christianity has been able to explain that one to me...like NOBODY. Why so many have 'made a decision for Jesus' yet so few are going to be saved? WHY? They'd rather not discuss this discrepancy because its bad for church 'attendance' which in turn leads to bad 'tithes and offerings.' Anything that interferes with the fleecing of the flock is off limits for discussion by todays so called christian leaders and teachers.

Anyone who supports the current paradigm, that what calls itself christianity really is christianity is the problem. That makes up the vast majority of everyone you'll meet on this earth. If Matt 7:14 teaches us that only a FEW will make it through the gate that leads to life, then can't we reasonably expect that only a FEW will be speaking words of truth to the world today? It's always a REMNANT, its always a FEW that are saved. That's important to know before you stand before the Creator of all things. Making a 5 second 'decision for Jesus' is EASY. Living for Him day in and day out, in FAITH and OBEDIENCE is not as easy. If you love me, you will obey my commands, that's what Jesus said. If you don't obey his commands, then you don't love him. Do you think people who don't love Jesus will be counted 'worthy' of the escape or ultimate salvation? If you don't OBEY you don't LOVE him, and if you don't LOVE him, I think you have some big problems ahead of you.

Don't take my word for any of this, YOU need to read your bible and figure things out for yourself. The bible tells you that the Spirit will lead you into all truth. Time is short, very short. 2009 starts in 22 days. What's on the menu for 2009? Economic collapse, famine, riots, death, war. Gosh, I seem to remember something that reads like that in Revelation 6...hmmm. Rev 6 occurs right after the escape.

The removal of the restrainer and what's left of the church is what causes this world to plunge into darkness. Remove the light and you get instant darkness. Luke 21:36 tells us that we should pray to be counted worthy of the escape from ALL thats about to happen. If you are 'in Christ' or you are going to be 'in Christ' then I pray for you, for my family and for myself. I do NOT take for granted anything. If Jesus told us to pray that we may be counted worthy of the escape then there's a GOOD REASON for it, believe that.
