1. prayer
2. faith and patience
This year of 2012 has been built up as a monument to what the 'powers that be' would like to do. What most people do not take into consideration is the Lord's great patience. He is our Master we are His servants and we are called to be just like Him. This brings me to something I believe He spoke to my mind last night: patience.
On one hand, everything within me is screaming 'this isn't right' and seems to tell me that time has almost completely run out on this world. To be this close to everything taking place and yet not to see it can be almost maddening. Some walk away from the faith because the Lord tarries, some stop watching, some do not remain ready and all are wrong answers.
The brought to my mind last night this Word:
Heb 6:12 That you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Patience is required. Matt 25 tells us the wise virgins made preparations to wait-they brought extra oil. Rev 3:10 tells us the ones who are kept from the trial coming on all the world are those who kept the Word of His patience:
Rev 3:10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.
I am amazed at how todays so called teachers have so quickly and utterly abandoned faith. What do I mean? Listen to their words? They talk about grace, grace and more grace but they consistently leave out FAITH when they talk. Why? Because it flies in the face of their "OSAS" once saved always saved doctrine of devils.
How do we inherit the promises? Through FAITH and patience
How are we saved? By grace THROUGH FAITH
... For by grace you have been saved through faith. |
What did Jesus wonder about when He returns to earth?
... Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” |
Where are the FAITH preachers today? I love the Lord's grace as much as anyone, but if men call themselves preachers and they preach a partial gospel (which is no gospel at all) then they are cursed:
Gal 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!
The all grace no faith gospel is a false gospel. The Word alone is our standard to judge all things.
2012 could be the biggest flop year we have seen yet. All the pieces are setup on the world stage for the tribulation to start today, but the Lord can make the world wait indefinitely. We must wait as the Lord waits. Our patience must have no end. We must wait with great FAITH that our Lord will do what He said He would do and He is not slow to fulfill His promises.
2. Prayer-this is a big one but will be short. This one jumped out at me a day or two ago from the Word:
... If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: |
Think hard about that one ^^. People wonder why the Lord does not speak to them or seem to answer their prayers? If men regard, think about iniquity in their hearts THE LORD WILL NOT HEAR THEM. We must watch our thoughts and minds and hearts very very carefully. I am dead meat if the Lord does not hear me. He is all I have, all my help, all my counsel, all my guidance, everything. How can we live if the Lord does not hear us?
We cannot entertain iniquity in our hearts. We must take captive every thought
2 Cor 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
End of Post Thoughts
We must be very patient. 2012 could very well end as just another year. The Lord could tarry even in the face of the overwhelming signs and signals we see around us. He told us we must prepare to be patience, just like the wise virgins. Mentally 'bring the oil.' Prepare yourself in your mind to be ready and willing to wait. With all that said be ready to leave here immediately. Deliverance and sudden destruction will go hand in hand. Everything will go along business as usual until suddenly it does not. Remember the stories of Noah and Lot. They were both physically removed from the sudden destruction of their day. The Lord said it would be just like that when He comes back. Not only that but we are told there is an escape from ALL coming (Luke 21.36), we will be kept from the trial=tribulation coming on the entire earth if we keep the Word of His patience (Rev 3:10).
What is the Spirit saying to the churches today? What this servant hears is:
be patient
keep the FAITH
rest
be ready to leave
pray
be holy, watch your hearts and minds do not grieve the Holy Spirit.
These things are hardly revolutionary. These things are the very basics of the faith right? The Lord has called us back to the fundamentals of the faith. What we are being asked to do is simple, but that does not make it easy.
Please remember me and my family in your prayers as I remember you daily. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
