Notice the proximity of the quakes with the alignment of the planets? Things going on out there affect things here on earth. The Lord told us there would be signs in the sun, moon and stars. From our point of view these next couple of days will have venus "in the sun" and between the horns of Taurus.
What do these things mean? It would be a stretch for me or anyone to go beyond the fact that they are signs. When we look around here on earth we see the world setting itself up for destruction while these signs play themselves out in the heavens. When we open the book of Revelation and the gospels does that fit? It certainly does.
Destruction is coming to this world because of lawlessness which is sin. Rejecting the Creator always results in the same thing, destruction. This writers 80 day watch is coming to an end in 2 days, but the watching we do as believers will go on. The Lord has brought me to a place of peace in spite of all that is going on in the world around us. The Lord could call for His Bride at any moment now but we could also be watching and waiting for a long time. This is where I find myself. Watching, waiting and patiently enduring.
2012 could be the biggest "nothing out of the ordinary" year we have seen yet. We saw Rev 12, a mega quake, huge animals deaths and everything else last year on a large scale than we saw this year. Now all these things have become "business as usual" and people have gone back to sleep. Expectations are high for something to happen which may mean nothing happens. On the other hand everything in the world is setup for the Bride to leave and all hell to break loose here on earth.
This writer has had no dreams and no visions, and no other special revelation from the Lord. What this write continues to have are a never ending stream of personal miracles and divine provision. What I am impressed with from the Lord is to stick to the basics. Pray, keep the faith, patiently endure all kinds of suffering, and in time all things will be settled.
When things happen is not determined by the enemy. The Restrainer determines what is allowed to happen. The enemy has been sending out a constant message that 2012 will be the year of destruction. Could that be true? Yes, if it is the Lord's will. If we have learned one thing over the past years it is this; things can look like they are on the razors edge of tipping, and nothing will happen.
I remember the Words of Revelation 310Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. 11I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
The ones who will be kept from the trial coming upon the whole world are those who are "in Christ" today and keep His command to endure patiently.
Also remember this, the destruction that is coming will come suddenly with little or no warning. We endure, endure, endure, suffer then bam it will be over. There is an escape from all coming for those found worthy of it.
Luke 2134“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. 35For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”
What is the Lord saying to the Churches today? Be patient and always be on the watch. Pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen. Many are those who refuse to pray this as the Lord instructed us. Many are those giving up on the watch, giving up on patience. We should not be amazed that we suffer:
| ... Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you |
All these things work together. Our fiery trial is now, watching and praying with great patience are for right now. A day is coming when we will cross the finish line and the race will be over. That day can come through death or rapture or the calling of the Bride some other way. The Lord's ways are not our ways and how and when He does things (the mechanics of them) is for Him to know and us to find out.
The Lord is coming like a thief. Those who are not watching will suffer loss. I am not talking about the second coming here, I am talking about the "unknown day" we read about time and again in the Bible. The Bride does not know when the Bridegroom will call for her, she must be ready everyday. The wise virgins of Matt 25 brought oil with their lamps because they were prepared to wait: Revelation 310Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial
Let us listen to what the Spirit is saying to us today.
On a personal note my wife has a job interview Tuesday 6/5/2012. Will you please pray for her and our family that if this is right for our family that the Lord will grant us favor and she will get the job?
There have not been many posts recently. I do not write just to write. I pray that only what the Lord would have this writer write is posted to this blog. Sometimes He gives me more, sometimes less. These are the days of less when it comes to words.
