What point are we driving at today? The God of Israel who judged the children of Israel for their sins and iniquities and backslidings will also judge the Christians of America in the same way. The people of America deceive themselves when they say "our God would never do that to us!" But they fail to see that He is already doing it. Because judgement has not fallen in full measure in one day they believe the lies the world tells them to explain away the evils befalling this people on every side.
What has the Lord said to His children before when they acted as the people of this world act?
To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
Jer 6:11Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children in the street, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.
12And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD.
13For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them everyone is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest everyone deals falsely.
14They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people lightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
15Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I punish them they shall be cast down, says the LORD.
16Thus says the LORD, Stand you in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it.
17Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
18Therefore hear, you nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.
19Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
This is a land (America) that has outright rejected the counsel of the Lord, they have rejected it. What do you mean brother, can't you see all the people 'going to church' every Sunday and mouthing the Word of the Lord spoon fed to them by their hired hand preachers? Yes, I see it. I see the preaching and teaching of a "love only god" and a "grace only god" and a "mercy only god." The people choose what pleases them and disregard all the rest.
Jer 512They have lied about the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:
13And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.
Where is your proof brother? Isn't this all just your opinion?
Fact: light drives out darkness every time without exception.
That ^^ is not my opinion, it is a fact and what we see encroaching on America, which has mega-churches on every corner of every city across the land, is darkness. If the churches were full of light, darkness would have to flee, it has no choice. Go turn on a light in a dark room and see how long it takes for the light to drive darkness out....but it is not happening in America or across the world. Why? Because what this world calls light is darkness...

The Lord has given us the solution while He addresses the problem:
16Thus says the LORD, Stand you in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, and you shall find rest for your souls.
But the people reject His solution:
But they said, We will not walk in it.
The Lord has given us the solution. If we are the problem, we are also the solution. Individually, we are the solution. The Lord does not need a mega-church full of people to accomplish anything on this earth. He can work through one.
Jer 3"Return, faithless people," declares the LORD, "for I am your husband. I will choose you--one from a town and two from a clan--and bring you to Zion.
Today's Christianity likes to pretend they are exempt from anything that happened to the children of Israel. "But we have Jesus," they say, and I thank God for Him but what did Jesus say?
6If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
What does abide mean?
: to stay or live somewhere
: to remain or continue
Stay, live, remain, continue in the same place. If once a person did good but now they do evil, did they abide in the same place? No, they have moved from good to evil....
Why all the doom brother? Can't you tell us something pleasant? What has the Lord said?
Ecc 72It is better to go to a house of mourning
than to go to a house of feasting,
for death is the destiny of everyone;
the living should take this to heart.
3Frustration is better than laughter,
because a sad face is good for the heart.
4The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning,
but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure.
Surely the Lord was correct when He told us what people would be like today:
2 Tim 3 :1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6For of this sort are they who creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with various lusts,
7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
When we see the evils coming upon the world that we see today, shouldn't we turn our hearts fully toward the Lord our God? The reasoning and thinking like men is how the world got itself into this mess, yet people continue to seek the counsel of man to get out of this mess, isn't that abit insane? What mankind needs is the counsel and power of God Almighty. We are facing a spiritual onslaught that no man can stand up under without the power of Almighty God to hold them up.
The time to sound the alarm, for ourselves if nobody else, is today.
