Feast of Trumpets 2014

The Feast of Trumpets 2014 begins today at sundown and goes through Friday at sundown.

The Feast of Trumpets appears to me to be the most likely time for the rapture of the Church to occur. Is it likely to happen this year?  It is unlikely every year.  Is it possible this year? Yes, it is possible.


The Lord has made some promises that have to be kept.  Here is one of them:

Luke 21:34“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. 35For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

There is a snare and a trap coming upon all those who live upon the face of the earth.  Sorry, this one is a no brainer for me.  People can argue it all they want to but it is settled in my mind, heart and spirit.  There is a trap AND there is an escape.  We are told clearly to be always on the watch and always praying for this escape.

This undeniable fact and command automatically and instantly condemns the post-tribulation and "pre-wrath" belief systems.  Why?  It is very simple.  Neither the post-trib, nor the "pre-wrath" believers are watching or praying for the escape always.  To do so would be an act of insanity on their part as their belief system tells them the escape cannot come always, and why should they pray for something they do not believe will happen?

There is a simple test that they all universally fail.  Ask them "are you watching and praying always for the escape from all?"  They will squirm and evade, and try to re-direct, and point you to 1000 page dissertations and do everything else in their power not to answer that simple question directly.  It is a yes or no question and their answer is "no".

Be always on the watch, thats what the Lord said.  For what?  The escape.  That is what the Holy Spirit said, not me, not any other man or woman in history, the Lord God said it.  That command is nonsense to both the "pre-wrath" and post-trib crowd because for them a,b,c,d,e,f,g have to happen first.  Why should they watch and pray always for the escape?

Could the escape take place over the next few days?  It is possible.  If you take the Word of the Lord seriously then pray with me that we all will be found worthy of this escape.  Watch and pray with me always meaning right now.

Things are quickly spiraling out of control in the world, and we have only seen the passing of 1 out of 4 blood moons.  Oct 8, 2014 is the next one.  If the spring blood moon brought such things as an ebola epidemic and ISIS and war in Ukraine etc, what happens after blood moon number 2?  The implications are quite sobering.

Let us be found watching and praying, right now today for the forgiveness of our sins and that we may be counted worthy of the escape promised in the Lord's Holy Word.  Nobody knows when the Lord is going to show up, but the Feast of Trumpets every year is about as close as it gets to pinning down a season for Him to call us up.
