During the 1967 and 1973 wars in the middle east, Israel was surrounded by armies and godly men all around the world were proclaiming "this must be it." And that was not it, it was not the time for what had been prophesied to happen. During WW2 when Hitlers armies were storming Europe and he seemed unstoppable, godly men were preaching "this is it." These days we again see escalation in the middle east, we see Israel again being surrounded by armies. So what? So, this might be a false alarm once again.
With that ^^ said, this brother is predicting nothing. In fact, if I had to predict I would say none of what I am about to propose to you will happen. So why discuss it? Because it is possible, not probable but possible.
What is possible?
In September 2015 a lunar tetrad on the Lord's feast days wrapped itself up along with the end of a 7 year Shemitah cycle and the beginning of a Jubilee year. As far as a time nexus goes, that one should be circled in bright green neon. Today we sit four months into a Jubilee year, and what has happened? 1. Russia invaded the middle east. 2. Islamic armies composed of 95%+ military aged males have invaded Europe with the full participation and protection of European governments. 3. This month the U.S. stock market descended for the second time in 6 months, this time dropping down past August 2015 to a new temporary low. 4. Planet X was discovered by a pair of astronomers at CalTech. All the ridicule and all the online shilling, name calling and disinformation was put to bed with this discovery. Why now? Why this year? Go back up and read the first sentences above. We have apparently reached a nexus in time where its just time for these things to happen.
Speaking of time, what has the Lord told us?

Which brings us back to possibilities. This September 2016 marks the beginning of another "seven." The Lord went out of His way to advertise this idea of seven years and its significance with the best selling book the Shemitah written by brother Cahn. Added to this, legendary trader Martin Armstrong's economic modeling is showing 2017 as a potential economic and political tipping point. Then we have the military situation in the middle east simmering on a slow burn starting again last year. Where does this leave us?
September 2016-September 2017 is the 1st year of a new Shemitah cycle "seven." Based on Mr Armstrong's modeling a hard economic descent is possible beginning in this year 1 of seven (Sept 2016-Sept 2017). We have learned from years of watching history play itself out that economic and political collapse never happen in one day, but what kind of movement is reasonable in 3 to 3.5 years? Plenty. September 2017 is 1 year into the 7, September 2019 is 3 years into the seven and some time around Passover 2020 is 3.5 years into the "seven" years that begins this September 2016.
Is it possible that the economic descent this world is already in could reach a point in the spring of 2020 where electronic currency and mandatory marks must be used to buy or sell?
Is it possible that over the next 9 months, the situation in the middle east could lead to a 7 year "covenant with many" that is the beginning of the seven? I see absolutely nothing on the horizon that would suggest this is so other than the lessons of history. Israel does not fight long drawn out wars. In 1967 the war lasted 6 days, thats it and the boundary lines in the middle east were changed. Alot can change in 9 months if 6 days is all thats needed to destroy the combined middle eastern armies allied against Israel.
Why is brother D writing these things to you today? Because on one hand, the Lord has gone out of His way to warn that nothing has to happen based on current events as we see them today, however on the other hand He has gone out of the way to warn us of the 7 year cycles known as the Shemitah, He has given us His signs in the heavens that can in no way be faked or forged by the enemy and his servants who run this world and there is His Spirit inside of us telling us to pay attention, be watching for the return of the Lord (the unknown return NOT "the second coming"). Which has left this servant scratching his head.
We absolutely do not know when the Lord will show up for His unannounced return for His Church, which makes this time between today and the end of September 2016 such a tempting target. There is no Y2k, no mayan 2012, no comet elenin, absolutely nothing on the radar to suggest anything will happen between now and then which is precisely why we should be watching all the more.
This brother is not suggesting we watch for days or hours. This brother is suggesting we be aware of the season we find ourselves in. What season is it? It is Jubilee season, and soon to be Shemitah "seven" season once again. In the absence of all the hype and commotion that has preceded previous years let us be all the more aware of where we stand in the Lord's time and in His seasons.
