Recently the Lord reminded me/corrected me of a few things that I now share with you:
1. The events in the Middle East, the Islamic invasion of Europe etc seem to get alot of human attention (including mine) but that is not the Lord's focus. What is the Lord's focus? His Church, period. Those who belong to Him, that is His focus. The things going on in the world leading up to the tribulation are on divine autopilot. Yes, everything leading to the tribulation is falling right into place, right on time but our focus is to be on Him as His focus is on us.
2. We were told this:
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
"All these things" our Lord talked about are happening so what should we be doing? Lifting up our heads for our redemption is drawing near which ties directly into point number one above.
This world and the tribulation have an appointment set for each other in the days ahead. We have an appointment set with our Lord in the days ahead which is exactly what "for your redemption draweth nigh" means.
We are not to forget these things. The Lord has had to remind this servant of this same message a number of times. I ask the Lord in prayer right now that help us to keep these things in the forefront of our minds, hearts, and spirits as we wait anxiously to see Him face to face.
