Good News

In addition to the good news that our God loved us enough to die for us that we may be redeemed through Him, He has given each of us a job to do.  If you look around at this world and sometimes feel bewildered at the pace of events and how the world appears to be coming undone, do not be troubled.  Our God whose Spirit lives inside each one of us knows exactly what is going on.  In His infinite power and wisdom He has placed us here on earth at just the right time, now, today to do some kind of work for Him.

We each have a job to do.  Some have big things, others have seemingly little things but they all work together for our good.  The Spirit He has given us works inside us, through us to accomplish His good, perfect work here on earth.

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.


Yes, He has a purpose for each and every one of us who are in Christ today.  You don't have to have your purpose advertised on a billboard in neon lights, it can be a tiny whisper in your spirit from time to time that is the Spirit of the Living God telling you what to do guiding you along the path He has for you. 

In the case of this nobody who writes to you today, the Lord never gave me a vision or a dream or a prophesy of any kind and said go do it.  He has little by little, day by day said "do this" or "do that" and hopefully this nobody has listened and obeyed enough that His will is being done through me.  It seemingly pleases the Lord that I do not know the intermediate stage of the battle plan.  I know the strategic plan-that is in our Bibles for all of us to read and understand.  I know the tactical plan-that is the day to day "do this" or "do that" commands perceived through my spirit.  Otherwise this nobody is clueless yet encouraged.  I know enough to know that I don't need to know, only He has to know.  Our Commanding General has everything mapped out.  His plans are perfect and cannot be thwarted.

If we listen to Him day by day and do our small parts for the kingdom, everything will work itself out in the end.  Remember, we live by faith not by sight.  We see a little, He sees everything.

The faster events move the more dust will be kicked up in the air meaning sometimes you will only be able to see and understand whats right in front of your face, sometimes not even that but don't be troubled.  Be infinitely patient, be faithful, pray, trust Him and everything will work itself out in the end. In all things, our Lord works for our Good.
