I was going to highlight some of the words spoken by the Lord below but I would just end up highlighting every word so why bother? We see from this that the Lord's wrath is constantly being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men. Please read the words below:
Romans 1 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
Did you read the results of God's wrath being revealed from heaven? See that part in there about both women and men being given over to a depravity so bad that they exchange natural relations for unnatural relations? Look around at the world today, homosexuality has become an epidemic disease that is getting worse by the day, why is that? The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven.
Some of the key parts within the passage of scripture that stand out to me like glowing neon signs are here:

The text that is highlighted above should glow in neon, or at least it does to me. It is precisely these things that the Lord has been speaking to me about for months now. The Lord has not asked us for outrageous things, he has asked us for simple things. What does he require from us?
We are to glorify him as God and give thanks to him and think that its a worthwhile thing to retain the knowledge of God. Is the Lord really asking so much from us that we cannot do these things? We must do these things. Did you read the results of not doing these things? The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven on people for not doing these things.
I cannot overemphasize how big a deal the Spirit is making this with me today. His yoke is easy and his burden is light. I urge and encourage you today to be found with our God's praises on your lips at all times. I encourage you to thank him constantly for everything and anything your mind can lay hold of to thank him for. I encourage you to stay in his word so that you will retain the knowledge of God.
The Lord has absolutely turned a corner with me to direct my thinking and writing to these things. I consider this blog to be the Lord's, not mine. I ask him for words to put on his blog since I reject my own thinking and reasoning as worthless. What you and I need is words from God, not men. We do not need anymore of man's thoughts or reasonings. We can benefit each other only as long as we keep our focus on Jesus. The way the world has gotten into the mess it is in is by rejecting the only one who can fix it: Jesus.
Again and again we see in the word of God the benefits of doing what pleases the Lord and the consequences of failing to please him. We belong to him, we love him so lets prove our words are not empty by doing the things he tells us to do.
