Why bring this up here on a Christian blog? Because the events we read in Revelation fit perfectly with what something like Nibiru will bring to this earth. Read the judgements, they are massive, massive earth changes and most of it comes from the skies above us.
Mankind will be almost extinguished. The Lord tells us how few people will be left:
Isaiah 13:11I will punish the world for its evil,
the wicked for their sins.
I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty
and will humble the pride of the ruthless.
12I will make man scarcer than pure gold,
more rare than the gold of Ophir.
13Therefore I will make the heavens tremble;
and the earth will shake from its place
at the wrath of the Lord Almighty,
in the day of his burning anger.
Men will be scarce, wiped out, annihilated. Why? For their wickedness, their unbelief, their faithlessness. Should we fear as believers? We should have a holy fear of the One who is bringing these things on the earth, but why should we fear the judgements? Should Noah have feared the flood? No. Should Lot have feared the fire and brimstone? No. Why? They were physically removed, and so shall it be when the Son of man returns. Exactly as it was in the days of Noah and Lot. Does that fit with a promise to escape all in Luke 21:36? Yes. Does that fit with a promise to be kept from the hour of trial in Rev 3:10? Yes. Does that fit with redeemed and rewarded men in heaven in Revelation 4 and 5 before a single seal in Rev 6 is opened? Yes.
Do we know if the seals have been opened yet? Hard to be sure but we can be sure that "the flood" event that wiped out mankind by the millions in large swaths has not shown up yet. We who are watching and ready for the Lord's return today should not fear. Do you see seals trumpets or vial judgements in the parable of the virgins in Matt 25? I don't. Does that fit with a "pre-flood" escape? Yes. Lesson? Do not fear.
Prepare? Yes. Be ready to meet the Lord soon? Yes. Purify and Sanctify yourselves? Yes. Fear? No. We are unlike those who do not take the Lord's Word as He wrote it. We were commanded to watch and we are watching. We were commanded to be ready for his return today and we (I pray) are ready. We are praying to be counted worthy to escape ALL of whats about to happen and we are praying for that exact thing-escape from all. Some call us names for this, I call it obedience to the Lord's Word.
Soon, the wise and foolish virgins will be shown for who they are. Do not let anyone steal your faith in what the Lord clearly wrote to us in His Word. The bible was not written for PhDs and ABCs and all the other so called 'wise' men of our age. It was written for the contrite and humble hearted believers who take the Lord at his Word like little children.
Keep the faith. We do not know how much time we have left. Be ready to meet the Lord any day hour or minute. We do not know the day, but it may be possible to know the season. I believe we are in the season of His return.
