Another large earthquake here, although the large ones seem to have died down as expected. What we are seeing is a multi-year pattern of mega-quakes that points to some large object approaching the earth. That object is a/the destroyer.
I believe the Lord impressed upon me recently that all the signs we see around us are not there to indicate that on one day or another something will happen. This makes sense in light of what the bible tells us "no man knows the day or the hour." What the Lord continued with is the signs we are seeing everywhere are given to us to keep us watching. Every one of them is an encouragement that the Lord is indeed coming (rapture/escape not second coming) and we are to be watching and ready for Him.
This is no great revelation to anyone, as usual the things the Lord tells me are right in our face to being with, out in plain sight we just don't seem to be seeing it. Like this idea of signs. There are signs all over the heavens the end of May beginning of June, an article or two have Proalready been written about this. Does this mean the rapture or tribulation start at the end of May beginning of June? Probably not. The last piece of what I believe the Lord communicated to me was the "no man knows the day or hour event" will take place either before or after one of these signs that we are seeing one after another.
Just as it was in the days of Noah right? The primary sign that He will be here soon is the world in its business as usual attitude with end days signs all around them. People eating and drinking and planting and building gives us no indication on what day our Master will call us up into the clouds or knock on our front door. We must be ready in between signs for the arrival of our Lord (not the second coming but the rapture/escape). I need to clarify not the second coming every time I reference the coming of the Lord because people read this and say, but that can't happen! The second coming cannot occur until this that and the other have happened. Got it, I'm not talking about the second coming. There is an escape from all coming as evidenced by Luke 21:36 and Rev 3:10 as well as other supporting scriptures. How, what, when this escape from all will take place I do not know. What I do know is that the Lord does not use Words casually. If He said it, even once, it WILL happen as advertised and we can bet the world on it.
The Lord has fulfilled every promise and every Word spoken in the Bible as they relate to provision and protection of His servants in this brothers life. My testimony is this, the Lord can be trusted to the uttermost. He is a fearful judge but also a God of tender mercies and loving kindness. What we experience of Him depends on where we stand with Him.
This writer stands in great fear of the Lord up through and including this very day. Why so much fear of the Lord? Many many many will not make the escape. Many will never make it into heaven. Read Matt 7:14-how many make it through the narrow door? Few. If we do not read that with fear and trembling then we are babbling fools. Do we take the Word of the Lord seriously enough? If He said it, He meant it. Todays churches have no room in their teaching for correction and reproof. They want to hear pleasing things such as "salvation through grace" while they leave out "through faith." What does the bible say?
Eph 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--
You my friends are saved by grace THROUGH FAITH. That is not my opinion, that is biblical fact. The churches love the saved by grace part, what they consistently leave out is the through faith part. Do you know why they consistently leave out the through faith part? This is why:
|
When the Son of Man comes, do you think He will find faith on earth, or just alot of lip service?
Why will so few enter the narrow gate that leads to life? WHY? Why is it that nobody cares to ask that question? They do not ask because they do not take the Word seriously. They believe in the Bible Buffet lie that they can pick and choose which bible verses to put on their plate and walk away feeling justified.
They believe that if they take the saved by grace part, but leave out the through faith part-they will have no problems. They believe that saved by grace means they do nothing or else it would be "works." All the while the disregards book after book of biblical warnings and commands that tells us the Lord expects us to play a part in our salvation. Let me be clear, no we are not saved by "works" got it? But what is "working out our salvation then?"
Phil 2:12Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
Does the Lord use Words idly? Did He tell us to work out our salvation for nothing? And how did He tell us to work out our salvation? With fear and trembling? And how do you see and hear all these "saved by grace I play no part in any of this" people telling you they are saved? They tell you with boasting and carelessness. Do you detect any fear and trembling in these saved by grace-thats the end of the story people?
These people almost without exception are the "once saved always saved" crowd. They believe that once they make a 3 second teary eyed confession during an alter call or whatever they are as good as in heaven already. Does a 3 second teary eyed, "i said the words i'm done" explanation jibe with the few make it through the narrow gate scripture in Matt 7:14. Does it work with branches (us) being cut off of the vine (Jesus) and being thrown into the fire in John 15? Does being cutoff and thrown into fire sound "saved" to you?
We have been told to work out our salvation with fear and trembling for a reason.....If the righteous are scarcely saved what will become of the wicked:
1 Peter 4:18 And also, "If the righteous are barely saved, what will happen to godless sinners?"
Summary
The signs are everywhere and the Lord recently impressed upon me that we should be more focused on the "in between days" the 'normal' days to look for Him than the days of the signs, events etc. So a day like today is when it is most likely the Lord will knock on our personal door. A day like today is when the Bride will hear the Bridegroom shout and trumpet. In the in between days, between the signs all around us is when we Lord will likely provide the escape. Question is, will we be ready? Are we watching? The signs are given to us over a long period of time to keep us watching. The signs are evidence that He is coming. That should be obvious right? The signs are not markers in the sand to say "this day it will happen and no other day." Ele-nin was and is a sign, the mega-quakes are a sign, the volcanoes and dead animals and WW3 and the rise of anti-christs etc etc are all signs that point not to a day or hour but to an event: HE IS COMING.
We have gone for years now seeing the signs but mistaking them for time markers, they are not time markers. No man has known the day or hour and no man will. We may be able to discern the season, I don't know even that is not important. The important thing is as long as we are seeing these signs, they are evidence that the Lord is calling us to watch and be ready for Him. There is an escape coming, there is a rapture coming, there is the wedding coming. We are being warned and encouraged through many signs to ready ourselves for His presence. Warnings are an act of love and mercy. The Lord loves us and is merciful towards us, otherwise He would not warn us beforehand. He does not desire the day of destruction but it is coming.
Let us be found in the grace and mercy of the Lord when He appears for us. We are saved by grace THROUGH faith so let our faith be found strong and alive when He comes for us. Let us pray for each other that our sins may be forgiven and that we may be counted worthy to escape all that is about to happen and stand before the Son of Man.
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
