At least 19 killed, about 20 injured in knifing near Tokyo

Link here.

Just about every day now for the past few weeks there has been some kind of knifing, axeing, shooting, bombing somewhere that makes international news.  Whats going on?

Rev 6:3When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.

What are you saying brother d, the seals are being opened?  No.  What brother d is saying is this is a foretaste of what is going to happen before it happens.  Why would the Lord give a foretaste?  Because He is a merciful God.  When the real thing gets here it is going to stagger the mind.  One small shooting, stabbing, bombing per day even if its every day doesn't scratch the surface of what is coming.

Wherever people have wholesale rejected the God of peace, we are seeing mass murder and mayhem.  There are consequences for rejecting God Almighty and we are seeing those consequences play themselves out each and every day.

If we people want change (and they apparently do) they need to stop looking to governments and politicians and start looking to their Creator.  People cannot reject their Creator and turn to mortals to fill the void left by an Eternal God (when they have rejected Him).  Trump cannot save anyone.  Hillary cannot save anyone.  They cannot save, and they cannot fix what has been divinely broken.  Oh yes, we are facing problems that have a spiritual origin.  The Lord has placed stumbling blocks in front of humanity to teach them that no matter what they do, head or tails, up or down, right or left nothing will work the way it is supposed to until they turn back to their Creator in humility and repentance.

Time is running out for this world.  "Yea but you've been saying that for years brother d!" True, and it becomes more true by the day.  One does not need the gift of prophesy to know what is coming.  What is bad around us will get worse until people submit to God Almighty.  He created this place and everything in it.  He has every right to do whatever He wants, whenever He wants, without the consent of anyone.  If people want to fix what is broken they can start by dropping to their knees, looking up and asking for forgiveness.

I want to fix what is broken.  I hate seeing the death and destruction around us every day.  I hate seeing what was once beautiful and pleasant turned into a wasteland.  So, I do spend time on my knees praying for the brothers and sisters, my family, myself, all mankind and those in authority that we may live quiet and peaceful lives.

Sometimes its easy to watch world events and say "what can I do about it?"   We can always do something about everything, we can pray.  There is nothing in all creation that cannot be touched through prayer.  We can pray for peace, we can pray that souls will be brought into the kingdom.  We can pray especially for those who today fervently oppose us that they (like Saul turned to Paul) will be transformed into our greatest advocates to speak wisdom to a world that has gone mad.

Pray, ask, seek, knock, believe, obey.  While we are still on this earth there is still hope because we can always pray and (persistent) prayer changes everything.

A Special Note To Our Brothers and Sisters in Russia

Бог благословит русского народа

May the Lord bless you and keep you.  I do not know why but the Lord has impressed upon me to learn the Russian language and to love the Russian people.  His eyes are certainly upon you.

More Encouragement From The Lord

As many of us look around and see the wicked seemingly prosper (like Hillary running for President instead of sitting in jail where she belongs) while the righteous are persecuted, there is the temptation to fret or even get angry about it.  Don't do it says the Lord.  I was standing in line at the grocery store the other day and as I pondered the wicked (and those that support the wicked) the Lord gave me this gem that actually turned my frown upside down:

Psalm 37:12The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
13The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;for he knows their day is coming.

You want some good news?  Hillary and all the rest of the crooked, murderer, thief, liar politicians along with everyone who support them has their day coming.  The Lord is not up in heaven wringing His hands over these people, no He is laughing at them!

13but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.

Guess what?  Justice will be done.  All those who oppose upholding the rule of law, justice, righteousness, peace and everything else our God and His laws stand for, those people
's day is coming.

Some may say "wow brother D, that doesn't sound very forgiving or loving etc?"  To which I would say I did not write Psalm 37, the Spirit of the Most High God did.  Why did He write that?  To encourage us.  Here it is again said another way:

2 Peter 2:7and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless 8(for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)9if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

Aren't we who belong to our Father in heaven the ones who are now tormented and distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless around us?  Yes we are, and what does the Lord say about our situation?  We will be rescued from it and the unrighteous will be punished for it.  Our job is to be patient in affliction and joyful in hope, knowing that justice is on its way

Romans 12:9Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Be encouraged brothers and sisters, our God is not sleeping.  He is alive and very active. fulfilling His every Word to the letter.

grace and peace,

brother d

Lawlessness in America

We found out today that the rule of law is dead in America:

Comey Delivers Scathing Rebuke of Hillary But Says No Indictment

"They" can do whatever they want and nobody goes to jail.  Instead of going to jail Hillary gets to be president of the United States instead, what a deal!  No, there is no guarantee that she will win but the fact that there is no indictment tells you the corruption in government is now absolute.   This is lawlessness in its purest form.  So what you ask?  So we are judging the season we are living in.  We live in a season of absolute lawlessness.  So what you ask again?  So, the 'lawless one' could not rise in a time of law and order, the people would not accept him.  Now however, the doors are all standing wide open for his arrival:

2 Thess 2:8  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.

Could the Restrainer restrain this lawlessness?  Sure, Hillary could lose but even if she does what has been established is the system of lawlessness that exists and the people's tolerance and even acceptance of this lawlessness has reached a crescendo.

This is what happens when the God of peace, law, and order is rejected.  In comes lawlessness and chaos.  Our God told us this would happen 2,000 or so years ago.  It is happening but we did not choose this.  We who believe did not reject the Lord Jesus Christ or the Father.  We accept Him and we obey Him.  Those who believe those who accept Jesus Christ and obey His commands will be lumped in with the wicked when all hell breaks loose upon them do not know or understand the scriptures.  Proof?  Yes, the same proof given over and over again:  Noah and Lot.

Luke 17: 26Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, 29but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all— 30so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Our Lord speaks of Noah and "They."  Also He speaks of Lot and "They."  What happened to Noah and Lot and what happened to "them?"

Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all

Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all

Clearly a massive dividing line between Noah, Lot and "them."

And as if the Lord presupposed the opposition to this message He gave it to us again very clearly in the New Testament here:

2 Peter 2:4For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hella and committed them to chainsb of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment; 5if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;c 7and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked 8(for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard); 9then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials,d and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, 10and especially those who indulgee in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority.

Its right there plain as day and yet many refuse to accept this very straightforward promise the Lord has given us.  Have gave us Noah and Lot as examples to tell us He knows how to rescue the godly from trials.  That Word trials is this:

from temptation,

πειρασμοῦpeirasmou3986an experiment, a trial, temptationfrom peirazó

Which is the same exact Word used here:

Rev 3:10Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

of testing,

πειρασμοῦpeirasmou3986an experiment, a trial, temptationfrom peirazó

I don't know how much clearer the Lord could have said it.  Noah and Lot, both delivered and the wicked around them were destroyed.  That is straight from the Word of the Lord with no added commentary needed, 1-2-3 done, the Word speaks for itself.

The righteous are watching the lawless get away with fraud theft murder lies and everything else and like Lot they are vexed.  Just like Noah and Lot were in days past the righteous WILL BE delivered again.  That is a divine PROMISE not some man's opinion.

As you see the lawlessness of this world grow around you know that it is setting the stage for the appearance of the lawless one.  The righteous who are currently vexed by this lawless behavior just as Lot was, will be delivered just like Lot and just like Noah.  That is a fact.  That is a promise.  Our God cannot and will not lie.  He said it,  He meant it.  That settles it.

I hope and pray that the Lord's Words to us will encourage you as it has encouraged me.

grace and peace

A God Who Answers Prayer

What is the Spirit of the Lord saying to the Church today?

Encourage the saints.  Thats it.  That is what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to this nobody who writes to you today.  So this nobody asks, "okay Lord, what Word will you give me to give the Church that will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint?"

Jer 31:25 "I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint."

What is it the Lord would encourage us with?  We serve a God who answers prayer.  That is my testimony.  His Word has been tested on this point forward, and backward, and sideways.  Yes, He does answer the prayers of His people.  He has answered the prayers of this nobody and I am a nobody.  There is nothing special about me.  If He answers my prayers He will answer yours as well.  I know there are many people who say "yea?  well He doesn't answer mine brother D."  To which I would have to respond that is between that person and the Lord.  If there is nothing special about this nobody who writes to you and this nobody has had his prayers answered how did that happen?

Our God responds to faith and His Word period.  Yep, thats the 'secret.'  Faith and His Word. We bring Him our faith and His Word and we get answers.  Is there another aspect to it?  I suppose we also need to add that we must pray according to His will:

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done....

and

1 John 5:14This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

This ^^ then begs the question, "okay how do we know we are praying according to His will?"  We know it from His Word and His Spirit who lives within us.  If what we are praying for is not specifically mentioned in His Word then we need to combine what is written with our faith and what the Spirit says.  How do we know what the Spirit is saying about what we are praying for?  We know it by the peace or lack of it when we center that request in our spirits and present it to the Lord.  We know by the peace we have about this request over time.  We pray and we pray with persistence.

I can tell you that in times past when there was something I was doing or praying about and the Lord really did not want me to move forward on it it was like my guts were being turned inside out-thats the best way I can explain the sense I had about that thing.  Not only did I not have peace about it my insides were in active turmoil.  That, is a no....

Many times the answer will be yes, but wait.  If you are actively praying about your issues, bringing your faith and His Word back to Him in prayer and you do not have turmoil in your spirit about the issue (you dont know is different from active turmoil) then keep on praying for what you are asking for.  There are specific things that are off limits and there are things the Lord knows we cannot have or do, everything else is negotiable.

If you have the faith for it, and His Word and His Will permit it, mountains can and will be moved for you:

Mark 9:23 And Jesus said to him, "'If You can?' All things are possible to him who believes."

Moving mountains (most of the time) takes time.  Once the Lord hears and grants your request, then He has to go about preparing the way for you.  That means in some cases He has to move other lives and events around ahead of you to make way for you and your request.  For example if you need a job in another city and you ask the Lord for that job in another city and He grants your request but there are no openings in that job right now, a job opening has to be created which means other people and their lives have to be moved around which means buying and selling houses, kids, cars, movers and the other one million and one details have to be guided to make a spot for you.

You get the idea.

Our God answers the prayers of His people today.  Our God performs miracles for His people today.  This brother is a living testimony to these indisputable facts.  These things are facts because our God says they are facts:

Matt 7:7Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

This Word ^^ has been tested by generations of the faithful and it has been found to be true.  Our Lord cannot lie, nor does He have a need to lie, He is Almighty, all knowing, all powerful.  He is more than capable of backing up every Word He has given us.

Mark 9:23 And Jesus said to him, "'If You can?' All things are possible to him who believes."

Just think about that statement ^^ for a moment, ALL things are possible to him (or her) who believes.  That is a fact.  This nobody has seen multiple miracles in his life.  In the course of receiving these miracles the Spirit instructed this writer that part of the work I had to do as a recipient of these miracle answers was to testify that our God meant what He said in His Word.  He said it, He meant it, every Word of it.  So, today this writer is doing his job by telling you our God meant what He said when He said it.  If nobody, nothings like me can pray and receive miracle answers so can you.  How?  Pick up the Word of the Living God and do what He said to do.  Pray, ask, seek, knock, believe and receive your answers.

Yes, it involves patience.  Yes, patience involves suffering.  But when you get your miracle the patience and suffering immediately take a back seat to your answer, praise and rejoicing.  Don't believe a word I am saying, believe what God Almighty said.  He said ask seek knock because everyone who asks receives.  Believe that!

Our God can resist anything but one thing He never resists is our faith and His Word.  Our faith combined with His Word will move mountains:

Mark 11:23"Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be [granted] him. 24"Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be [granted] you

This is the encouragement this nobody has for you today, that our God hears prayer, and He answers prayers today as much as He ever has.  So, ask and continue asking.  Knock and continue knocking.  Seek and continue seeking.  Remember the example of the unjust judge:

Luke 18:1And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Ask in faith, bring His Word back to Him and do it with persistence.  You will have your answers.
