Swine Flu Update

A couple things to mention here:

1. I listened to an interview with the doctor who is tracking the swine flu on google maps, and what he said was the reason we haven't seen the death rates in the US we've already seen in Mexico is because we are trailing their experience in time. So I guess whatever we are seeing in Mexico now, is what we should expect to see in the US soon. This doctor also said the WHO changed their rating scheme a few months ago with the effect being that if they were using their original rating scale, with yesterday's upgrade to level 5, it basically means we are at level 6-full pandemic.

2. When I was watching this interview, the doc said something like "humans infected by swine" and as soon as he said that something within me, then I had the mental picture of this:

Matt 8:31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

Jesus sent the legion of devils out of a man, and into a herd of swine...now we are seeing something evil from swine come back into men. It's just an observation, a thought. What do I make of it? Read the earlier posting from today. Back to basics. Belief and faith will be shown for what they are. The word of God will be vindicated. Those who believe...and I mean really believe what is written will do well. Those who "play church" will likely suffer.

It has been said here before, we don't have to wait long to see for ourselves how the events of our day pan out in real time. The warnings have been too many to count.

When death is stalking the world, when it comes to our neighborhoods, nobody is going to be laughing. I have asked the Lord many times now to set me straight, to show me in his word how I have missed his message, how his word really doesn't say what I think it says.

The warnings in the word of God are real. Righteousness was imputed to those people in the bible who believed what God said. If he said few will be saved, few will be saved, if he said there is an escape from all, there is an escape from all, if he said judgement starts with the church, then judgement does start with the church.

I would not wish hell on my worst enemy. I would not deny heaven to anyone, and thankfully the judge of who goes where for eternity is not me. With the spread of this modern day angel of death, it is more urgent than ever for people to find the truth about everything that really matters. Heaven and hell matter and they will matter for ever and ever and ever.

My wife tells me that I come across the wrong way many times when I say things and for that I am sorry. For everyone I have ever offended, I am sorry. The Lord has given me some specific things to do, and I'm trying in my flawed way to do them. There's a reason I say that I am the very least of the servants of the Most High, I'm not joking or exercising some kind of false humility when I say that. The race is not over until its over. May the Lord give us the wisdom and strength to both know and do his will today and in the days to come.

Whatever happens in the days ahead, do not fear. You and I will stand or fall based on the faith we have. If we do not stand in our faith, we will not stand at all...

grace and peace

Mercy for the Masses

I think the message the Lord gave me this morning can be summed up in the words "mercy for the masses." A look at what's happening in the world today, and what has happened in the recent past, gives me the impression that all of it has been one great act of mercy.

"Are you out of your mind?"

How are job loss, home loss, food loss, pestilence, never ending war etc etc acts of mercy?
Most people live their lives our day to day never thinking of "big picture" issues until something really bad happens. It's a fact, humans get complacent. The really bad things are "paradigm changers" in that they force people to think big picture at least temporarily. Most of the time its takes something on the order of death, divorce etc to get people to sit down and ponder what really matters. Yea, ok, what's the point?

The point is, a look at the world around us is full of paradigm changing issues. A threat to all humanity from this pig/whatever flu might just force people to think "hmm, maybe I account for my life today before tomorrow comes." The lame stream media pumps a nonstop deluge of bad news on the population, but what the enemy and his agents mean for harm, our God can use for good. What happens when all the fear peddling by the propaganda arms of the ultra-rich cause men to turn to Jesus Christ instead of to the man of sin as they intend? Well, that is happening, on a small scale grant you, but it is happening.

To date, there have been no reported deaths from this flu in the United States (of US citizens, the baby that died in TX was mexican). From what I understand of the 1918 spanish flu pandemic, it started just like this, there was some spread initially, then the flu seemingly went away only to return later and kill millions. I guess it was some type of gestation period of something but that's not the point. The point is, with everything going on around us, we should pay heed, we should grasp the big picture today. All the fear peddling in the world, so far, has been non-event after non-event, but if you read the bible you will see that the fear being peddled today has real substance in the future.

The martial law police state we don't see today, the flu pandemic that is not killing millions today, the forces of anti-christ that are poised to terrorize the world but are not yet terrorizing it are all wake up calls to mankind.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

We have been warned just like Noah was warned of things not seen as yet. Notice the wording above..."moved with fear" ..."heir of the righteousness which is by faith."

Here we go again, that familar word "faith." By faith, Noah was moved with fear of things not seen as yet, but he knew they were coming.

I believe we are at a crossroad today that is briskly dividing people, splitting the road into the narrow and broad roads. Each time the media pumps people with fear filled stories and nothing happens to them personally, the cry wolf syndrome hardens them a little more, to the point where someday when the real events are right in their face, they still won't believe they are happening.

Those of us through faith, are already moved with fear, knowing that the things promised will come to pass just as written. Everything we are seeing today, each event is a harbinger of "coming attractions" that have not arrived just yet, but their billboards are up saying "on the way!"

Jesus could show up today for us, the escape could be today. It's also possible that we have time to wait. We must be prepared for both. Today is another pre-flood, pre-fire and brimstone day of warning and admonition for the world to get right with their Creator before he takes things into his own hands and makes things right the hard way.

Most people won't listen, especially the religious people. All the institutionalized "christians" of the world have fallen under the spell of babylon. The Lord showed me another specific warning aimed at the forehead of the "religious people," but especially the "pastors" of this world.

Consider this another warning:

Matt 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

What's he saying there? The scribes and the pharisees were the preachers and teachers of Israel. Preachers and teachers? Yea, they did what the self proclaimed "pastors" of today do. What did the Lord say about them? Your righteousness better exceed theirs or you will never enter the gates of heaven.

Warnings, warnings, and more warnings are everywhere. In a time of universal lies and deceit, what can people do? Return to the basics. Read the bible for yourself, seek God's face, pray, have faith, believe. This world is falling apart, thick darkness covers mankind and yet "churches" dot every corner of the world's landscape. The darkness that covers the earth today is the evidence that what is calling itself christianity today is a fraud. So called christians are everywhere and yet mankind is more arrogant, self-centered, deceitful than ever. How do you reconclie that? If you turn on a light in a dark bedroom, the darkness MUST flee, it does'nt get to choose whether or not it leaves. I don't see much darkness fleeing in today's world which means what's calling itself light must have no light.

We may have a flu pandemic on our hands, but realize that about 40,000 die every year from normal flu and not one US citizen has died yet from this "pig/bird/whatever flu". That does'nt mean people won't die in the future, it just might mean people have a little more time to make things right between themselves and their creator.

Grace and peace be upon you in abundance.

Last Days, Perilous Times

(updated once since original posting)

2 Timothy 3:1-5. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Sometime over this past week, the Lord put this question in my mind, and after a day or two I forgot about it. This morning he put it right before my eyes again, and this time I'm presenting it to you. We see in 2 Timothy above that in the last days, perilous times shall come. The bible then goes on to explain why these times will be described as "perilous."

Why is it (there's that word again..."why") that the last days will be so perilous? Because people make it perilous. How? They love themselves. Love of self is what pride is, and pride was the original sin. This love of self pervades our entire society, from top to bottom. A survey was performed recently and the results showed that this generation (especially the kids) are the most narcissistic generation ever. Do we need a survey to tell us that? No, the word of God clearly told us it was coming.

I want you to notice that the first thing mentioned was love of self, and everything listed after love of self was an offshoot, a secondary effect of self-love/pride all the way down till you get to this: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Notice that self-love/pride is described throughout, then its capped off by this idea that people will have a form of godliness but they deny the power thereof.

What does the bible say about these people with a form of godliness who deny the power thereof? It says have nothing to do with them:

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

What's the implication there? If you are "going to church" and you are surrounded by people who "have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof," should you remain in fellowship with them? Is that what "turn away from them" means?

What does it mean to have a "form of godliness?" Well, it has something to do with God right? These people have an outward show of something to do with God. How about all the people who "play church" in these last days? They "go to church" instead of "being the church." From such, turn away. I did not say to turn away from them, the LORD DID. Is that unpopular with todays so called christianity? You bet it is.

Here's another question for you, how can you turn away from people if you haven't judged their actions? At some point, in order to obey this command, you have to identify these people with a "form of godliness who deny the power thereof." Once you identify them, you are then told to turn away from them. I can hear the screaming already "WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE!" Ummm, how about a servant of the Most High God, a son, an ambassador of Christ, and one told to turn away from those who practice a form of godliness but denying its power? If he instructed us to identify and turn away from such people and we refuse to, what does that make us? It would make us disobedient servants.

In the same way you've never heard your hired hand spiritual employee (pastor) teach you about Matt 7:14 and Matt 7:21+, you also don't hear them speaking about turning away from those with this "form of godliness." These "form of godliness" people are the people you see sitting all around you in the babylonian temples you attend (so called churches) with their attendant priests of babylon (pastors).

Hey man, that's pretty harsh! The Lord showed me something else recently and it was this: the truth only hurts for those who are condemned by it because their actions are sinful. The truth is not harsh for those who live and walk in truth.

Back to this "form of godliness..." What does it mean to "deny the power thereof." In order to answer that question, we have to ask, where does the power in true godliness come from? FAITH.

^^ There it is again, same theme, different day. Faith, is what affirms the power in our form of godliness. If you don't really believe, if you don't really have faith, you deny the power in the very form of godliness you profess. From these people, we are commanded to turn away.

2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Notice that these people with this "form of godliness" are lumped into the same batch as traitors, the heady and highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God...no distinction is made between them...from ALL such..turn away.

Are you saying "break fellowship" with these people? Answer it for yourself, what does "turn away" mean? This isn't rocket science folks. Once again, perhaps it's beginning to dawn on you why so few will be saved, why the gate is small and the path is narrow that leads to life. Perhaps you understand why those who speak the truth in this world have been killed, mocked, spit on, ridiculed. STOP CONFRONTING US WITH THE HOLY ONE has been the same refrain from men's mouths from the very beginning. Perhaps you can begin to understand why throughout the history of Israel it was always a remnant that was saved, not the majority.

Men do not want to turn away from their social circles, from their feel good buddies on Sun-day mornings. It doesn't matter that their buddies don't really believe because the fact that the social circle makes them feel good is enough.

Disobeying the Lord's command to turn your back on those with todays "form of godliness" is the same exact sin that Saul committed. I want you to read the story below, don't skim through it. Read and heed. See how the Lord sees, that you may judge things the way he judges them:

1 Samuel 15

1 Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD. 2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah. 5 And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley. 6 And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye showed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. 7 And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until thou comest to Shur, that is over against Egypt. 8 And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. 9 But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
10 Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying, 11 It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night. 12 And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal. 13 And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD. 14 And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear? 15 And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed. 16 Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on.
17 And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel? 18 And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed. 19 Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?
20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. 21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.
22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Notice here...Saul refused to destroy the seemingly "good things" that the Lord told him to utterly destroy. Saul's heart disobeyed the Lord for seemingly "good things." The Lord tells us this rebellion/refusal to do what the Lord commanded as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. People's refusal today to turn away from the babylonian form of churchianity, with its idolatrous pastoral system is as the sin of witchcraft. Their stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. The nicolaitan system that Jesus says he hates, men love. Because men love the "clergy/laity" system they refuse to turn their back on it. This world loves its idols, especially America. We are the home of "American Idol" in more than just a television show. Men lift up other men (pastors) to be their spiritual idols. A man is a slave to whatever has mastered him, and when a religious system instead of Christ Jesus has become your master, you have real problems.

Don't take my word for any of these things, look around you. This world has become a cesspool of wickedness, filth and every form of evil known to man, and America is ground zero for all of it. The wickedness that walks openly in America today stands up as a witness against the hundreds of thousand, maybe millions of supposed churches that dot the American landscape today. If something claims to be salt, but does not taste or preserve like salt, then its not salt. If something claims to be light, but does not drive out darkness, THEN ITS NOT LIGHT. Open your eyes people...

Judgement begins with the house of God:

1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

People don't want to hear about judgement coming to their house. They are fine with judgement coming to the entire world as long as it doesn't make a stop at their door. People want the world to change but they don't want to change themselves.

If we are indeed in the period of Rev 1-3 right now, then the Spirit is speaking to the churches. What I have been hearing the Spirit say now for weeks is its time to return to fundamentals. Prayer, reading the bible for yourself, faith, belief. Does it sound to you like the things written here are a dismantling of the entire religious system calling itself "christianity" today? It should sound like that. People "go to church" because that's what people have done for generations, but where are the people who have stopped to ask why? WHY, does the bible tell us to assemble together? To encourage one another. Does the bible say we assemble together so your "pastor" can encourage us? No, it does'nt, it says so we can encourage each other. With that's said, let's dissect a typical "service" shall we? When you show up to get "serviced" by your hired hand, what happens? You are expected to be silent while the hired hand speaks. He does all the talking, you do all the listening. If you were to try to say anything (except shout AMEN) you would be promptly escorted to the door.

So some guy gets up and pontificates while you are expected to be silent and that = us encouraging one another? The purpose of assembling together is stated explicitly, for US to enourage EACH OTHER, no mention of "pastor" anywhere. Where can WE encourage one another/assemble? My house? Your house? Outback steakhouse? Starbucks? Does it matter? But your babylonian pastoral priesthood has a real problem with that. How will they pay the mortgage on their monument to mankind buildings (so called churches)? How will they fleece you if you are'nt there to pay the Levitical tithe that you don't owe anymore? How will you be institutionalized by a dead and idolatrous system if you don't "go to church?"

The bible does not say anything about "going to church" ANYWHERE. It says we (not your hired hand clergy) should assemble ourselves together for the express purpose of encouraging one another...PERIOD. That is a rapier through the heart of the babylonian system masquerading as christianity today..

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the ...
... not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. ...

So called christianity today is a fraud. What is fraud? Its promising one thing and delivering another, or nothing at all. Having a form of godliness but denying its power is fraud. So called christianity advertises itself to the world as a the body of Christ. It presents a form of godliness to the world, but when the world probes it, they find that churchianity has no power. Why does it lack power? Read the list:

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

You are commanded to turn away from people who have this "form of godliness" but deny its power. In order to turn away from them, you must first identify them. Most people will refuse to do this because their "pastor" is like King Saul who refused to turn away from seemingly "good" things. That is witchcraft, iniquity and idolatry.

The truth never made men popular, it just gets them killed. Our Lord came preaching the truth and men screamed "crucify him!" Few will enter the small gate that leads to life, ask yourself why then don't run away from the answer when you get it...

Our First Love

Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

The past couple weeks here have seen the recurring topic of faith, belief and prayer. The importance of each one of those cannot be overstated. Yesterday afternoon and this morning in prayer, the Lord gently reminded me of the most important thing that needs to be included with faith, belief and prayer.....thy first love.

I can say this topic of "first love" has been strongly reinforced in my mind over the past two days. I am convinced that we are in Rev 1-3 right now, the Spirit is speaking to the churches. Why do you constantly read this question here "what is the Spirit saying to the churches today?"

Maybe this is why:

Rev 2: 11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Rev 3: 6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

^^^That's why^^^

And what is the Spirit saying to the churches today? Many things, but one of those things that sits in the front of my mind these past two days is "first love."

We know from Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

and in Matt 7:14 we have it clearly stated that only a few will be saved, those who enter through the small gate on the narrow path. Why will only a few be saved? Religious people are a dime a dozen in todays world. They run around doing all kinds of things in God's name but few of them will be saved, why? First love. When's the last time you heard one of your hireling "pastors" get up and tell everyone that only a few of them will be saved? Never, right? Why? When's the last time your hireling "pastor" got up and talked about why only a few will be saved? Never, right? Do they not think that might be kind of important to talk about? Perhaps they think it better for people to find out that only a few will be saved when they are on their knees before the Lord being told "away from me you evildoers, I never knew you." If your hired hand spiritual employee "pastor" has never covered these issues then run, don't walk as far away as you can from them.

Religious people are running around doing all kinds of wonderful works in God's name, but the Spirit is saying to the churches today "what about your first love?" Intimacy with Jesus comes first, before everything and anything else. We know for a fact that many will say on that day "we did lots of great things for you Lord" and he will send them away as evildoers. Ya think someone who claims to be a "godly man" (pastors) might want to mention that, analyze that, find out why, and make every effort possible to make sure it does'nt happen to any of the sheep? Well, NONE will mention it, not even a whisper of it. If reading the word of God for what it says causes people to fear, perhaps they should ask why they fear? Perfect love drives out all fear because fear has to do with punishment, so what are they so afraid of?

1 John 4:18
... Rather, perfect love banishes fear, for fear involves punishment, and the personwho lives in fear has not been perfected in love.

Some fear is a good and necessary thing, its called the "fear of God" and it has its rightful place in the church.

2 Corinthians 7:1
... we have these promises, dear friends, let's cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit by becoming mature in our holy fear of God.

My point today is this: The Lord has made it clear to me that in addition to faith, belief, prayer, reading the word of God, we must put our "first love" first. What happens if you don't? Well, go back and refer to Matt 7:21 to see what Jesus says to all those busy bee religious people who did lots of "great" things.

There's a place for good works, but good works come AFTER intimacy, first love, tender moments with our awesome God. Absolutely do not take my word for any of this, read your bibles for yourselves. Seek our Lord's face, ply him with questions and requests for all kinds of things. Give thanks constantly. Pray for all the brothers, for your family and for yourself. Put first things first, and love of the God of eternity is FIRST.

Good works should be a natural secondary effect of loving closeness with our God. We know him intimately and our love for him drives us to want to please him in every way.

You might wonder why "pastors" are roasted here, but when you read in Rev 2 that Jesus HATES the teachings and practices of the nicolaitans (laity conquerers) perhaps you will understand that anyone with the Spirit of Jesus within them will hate the things that Jesus hates with equal passion. When you see that the babylonian hired hand religious men refuse to address some of the most pressing issues that face mankind today, perhaps you'll understand the fire kindled against them.

First things must come first. First love must come first, and from that first love you will see a natural outflowing of faith, belief, prayer and hunger for the word of God. How can a person spend time in the very presence of God and not come away like Moses with their face glowing for a week (or however long it was). It is impossible to spend time in the midst of the consuming fire that is our God and not be changed.

Time may be short, I don't know. This bird, pig or whatever flu may just be another fear fest by the lames stream media, or it may be a real threat. One of the other themes in my mind lately is this idea of low probability/high impact events. What's the probability this "flu" will kill millions this time? Low. What's the probability that the escape will happen today? Low. But are both possible? Oh yea. It seems that the narrow niche issues of life, are the real things of life. Most of what mankind focuses on from day to day is meaningless blather. There are only a few things in life that have any lasting value and its those things we should focus on.

The escape will happen someday. The day it happens, people will be buying and selling, planting and building, marrying and giving in marriage, just like the bible said. People will wake up that day thinking it will be a day like any other day, and on that day they will be wrong. That day will shake the world both literally and figuratively. Be ready for low probability/high impact events.

I'll leave you with what the Lord left me with this morning: first love...put it first. Do not be the fool who believes that tomorrow will be just like today. grace and peace

Swine/Avian Flu

As I watch this thing develop, I am more interested in what our government is not doing than what they are doing.

I see from news headlines that just about every other country in the world is taking measures to restrict entry into their countries, guess which 2 countries are the only ones NOT taking measures to seal off their borders, restrict entry? You guessed it: the US and Mexico.

Gosh, ya think if the country just to the south of you was known to be the epicenter of a new global pandemic you might want to seal the borders....sealed like an airtight Ziploc bag. The US government is "concerned" and they are holding press conferences, and lots and lots of meetings! In other words, they are doing nothing, nada, zip to prevent this thing from running rampant throughout the world.

Ok, so what's the point? The point is, the "powers that be" through their actions are tipping their hand to us. The cards they are holding all have skulls and crossbones on them. The most crucial moments in any emergency, pick one, are the initial moments, the first actions taken. The first things that happen, the opening moves on the chessboard often determine the outcome of the entire game. We know the opening moves in this game: keep the borders wide open, let the infected in, then let this virus do its work on the population of the United States (and the world). From the point of view of the "powers that be" this couldn't have happened at a better time. What a coincidence huh?

What's the important takeaway from all this information? Time may be shorter than many think. Maybe Jesus will show up in a couple months, but many of us could be dead in weeks. Is that possible? Yea. Is it probable? It depends on whether or not you are "in Christ." Let me ask you a serious question today: why should we fear this new angel of death (swine/avian flu) that has touched down on earth? Why? Why should we fear what the world fears? We are not them, they are not us. We have promises..guarantees that they do not have.

I will give you one example, one place to look for these promises today. There are many, here's one:

Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

As I write this..just now it has dawned on me why the Lord has been on this topic of faith with me. You have read it here for months now, the importance of faith and belief. Is it starting to make sense to you now? Before us today we have a clear example of how what you believe, may determine whether you (and your family) live or die in the weeks ahead. If this angel of death shows up at your doorstep, and you kind of/maybe believe the promises of our Lord, will that be enough to keep the angel outside your doors?

Let this sink in really, really deep: 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Is there anything confusing about that statement? No, its plain and straightforward and it is fact. While the masses panic and order their useless pharmaceuticals, you have a promise from the God who caused the angel of death to passover our forefathers in Egypt. Do you remember reading here that everything done for them was also done for us "in Christ?" We are one, everyone who ever died "in Christ" that is to say "in faith," they are one with us who are in Christ today.

This avian/pig flu thing may just be another "cry wolf" event just like the avian flu has been for years. Then again, it could be the real thing. I was reading last night that the Spanish flu killed 40 million people and it only had a 2.5% lethality rate. This thing, this flu has a 7.5% mortality rate. That's a 300% more lethal agent of death than the Spanish flu. Combine that with the fact that there were many less people on the earth back then and we are looking at a minimum of 120 million people dead. Oh yea, and back during the Spanish flu, they didn't have mass transport, jets, everyone owning a car etc etc.

Am I trying to scare people? Nope, since when are truth, and facts scare tactics? The bottom line here is this. We may be seeing the first concrete example of how faith meets fear on a mass scale, before everyone's eyes and we see plain as day results from it. If someone stands on the promises of our Father and everyone else around them is getting sick and dying, but the sick/death never touches them, will that be evidence? Yea, but the world will still say "they were lucky." Yep, I've been "lucky" over and over and over and over again. Here's a newsflash for the world: that kind of "luck" doesn't exist. Las Vegas was built as a monument, a standing proof of how the worlds "luck" is foolishness for men. Las Vegas was built as a testament to people losing their shirts in the pursuit of "luck."

We have promises that in the coming days will prove their superiority to silver, gold and everything else men desire in this world. What would a man give in exchange for his life? The woman with the issue of blood knew that if she could just touch the edge of our Lord's cloak, she would be healed. The centurion knew for a fact that if the Lord gave him his word that his servant would be healed, it would be done. The Lord marveled at such faith saying he had not seen that kind of faith in all Israel. That's quite a statement isn't it? A centurion, not some religious person, not a rabbi, not a priest (or "pastor") was found with the most faith in all Israel.

I believe the Lord has given me a picture of how the future will unfold (not when..how). I have a picture of our faces pressed up against a pane of razor thin glass that separates us from the time of Jacob's trouble. Does that make sense in the context of what we know about the coming of the Son of man? Just as in the days of Noah and Lot? The same day that Lot walked out of Sodom, fire and brimstone fell.

In the same way that people today do not believe there is an escape from all (even though it is clearly stated in the bible) they refuse to believe it, to their own loss. Also, people do not believe the Lord's promises regarding things like this: 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

The teachers and preachers of this world have faith right up to the edge of their pet doctrines, but not in all the promises of God. We could soon see the outcome of faithlessness in this world. Our faith must be real, we must pray and really believe that what we pray for will come to pass. I am amazed that the Lord has brought this to the forefront of my mind over just the past couple weeks. Go back and re-read the postings here for the past week or two. The theme is "prayer, faith, belief."

I take no credit for anything written here. If there is any merit to any of the words written here, they are a credit to Jesus Christ alone. I don't put my name on this blog because the writing here has nothing to do with me, I am a nobody. The focus here is on YOU and Christ Jesus.

We may be dealing with another media scare fest here, or hundreds of millions of people may really die. Either way, it does'nt matter. We who stand day in and day out looking for the return of our Lord are striving to be found "in him" pleasing him in every way, every day. We cannot please our God without faith:

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for
... Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to him mustbelieve that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently search for him.

he rewards those who diligently search for him.

Search for him and you will find him if you search with all your heart. Half hearted attempts get half hearted rewards. There's no guarantees that those who "kind of" want to find the Lord will ever find him. Where are the men and women today with the centurian's faith? When the reward of faith is life, and the penalty for faithlessness is death, you could say this is serious. This applies both to the life lived in the flesh as well as life after death.

The time for "playing church" has been over for a long time now. The time for "being the church" is long overdue. Either you "are" the church or you are not. You cannot "go to church" because we who are "in Christ" are the church, wherever we go, there the church is.

It's time to take a serious look at what you believe and why you believe it. "Why?" is the most important question in the languages of the world. Why do you believe?

Whatever happens in the days ahead, focus yourself on the Lord Jesus Christ. Believe, have faith, pray, consume the word of God in your bibles. Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. The consequences for faithlessness in the days ahead could be life and death. Take hold of the promises of our Father in heaven, wrap your arms around them, then chain yourselves to them, and refuse to let them go EVER...till death do you (not:-) part.

Done for today, know that we are dearly loved children of the Most High God, grace and peace

Swine Flu

What makes this flu different from the avian flu scare years ago, is that this started in Mexico, not somewhere in east asia. Now we have confirmed cases of it here in the U.S. Don't you find it interesting that Obama and co. have NOT sealed the border yet? Don't you find it interesting that they have'nt deployed troops to absolutely HALT all illegal immigration? I find it interesting and very telling.

If I was president, that border would be so airtight a cricket could'nt hop over it, but I'm not president. Why am I commenting on the swine flu today? Last night I was thinking over the timing aspect of all this.

Remember Joe Biden's warnings that some event would come to test Obama, and we the sheeple would'nt like how he handled it? Well, here we are at the end of April, 5 days away from May. May is that month we talked about that has some special interest for me. May 11, the 17th day of the hebrew month of Iyar is when Noah entered the ark. May 21 is ascension day and May 31...pentecost, or perhaps in this case, a reverse pentecost which is how I see the removal of the restrainer happening.

I'm not saying any of this will happen, I'm not even saying its probable, I'm just saying its possible. If someone told you that in 10 days there was a 5% chance that a nuclear warhead would hit the city you live in, what would you do? Nothing? Same thing here, low probability, high impact if the Lord returns for us, so be ready.

I was'nt even going to post anything today, until I read this:

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

This flu thing has the potential to be the catalyst that sets the end time clock on. fast forward again. We won't have to wait long to see how things pan out, this flu is already in multiple different countries, and illegal aliens are still pouring over our borders like they always have, except this time they carry a special cargo for the people of America....death.

That overly dramatic? I don't know, scores are already dead in Mexico and I know the death figures are being under reported. As we make our way into the month of May, we will be pressed up right against the so called "summer of hell, summer of fear" we discussed here weeks ago. Think about the timing of this swine flu, people holding tax revolts, a million people per month losing their jobs, banks getting bailed out while we get thrown out of our homes. Can you think of a better time for the "powers that be" to release something like this? Seems like a no brainer.

Anyhow, that's all just wild speculation. Our Father determines the timing of things, not men. Perhaps this is the time for things to come unraveled, maybe it isn't, time will tell. The lesson for us in all this is, since we do not know when our Lord will show up, we must be ready today for him. Be ready and watching for his return. While I wait for his return, he has given me things to do for the kingdom, which I will do in the strength that he gives me. Look to your hearts and see what things the Lord has put there. What can you do with the days that are left to us? Do not think that tomorrow will be just like today. We are dearly loved, grace and peace

Faith and Patience

Hebrews 6 :12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The theme of the song in my heart today is faith and patience. Everything the Lord wants to do through us and in us will be done by those two things. We must be faithful today because we have no idea what tomorrow will bring.

I was reading this morning about an outbreak of swine flu that could turn pandemic. I remember how the bird flu was hyped to a fever pitch and nothing came of it. Yea some people died, but people die every year from every kind of flu. There's so much "crying wolf" these days that many are tempted to blow off everything, including their patience, and that is a mistake.

There is no doubt whatsoever that terrible times are coming, but we don't know when they are coming. So today, open your bibles, get on your knees before the Lord, seek his face. Build your faith and patience, ask him for more. Prepare yourselves to do what needs doing today, and for what lies ahead of us tomorrow.

Each day that passes leads me to believe that we are supposed to walk into the Ark, and out of Sodom in strength, not with a whimper. What this means is that as the world trembles in fear, we should grow stronger in faith. Our faith is the substance of things hoped for. What that means is, your faith is "substantial" it is tangible, real, substance, not some pie in the sky idea that religious people sell. What you believe in faith is fact, and substance right now today. Just because you can't see something, does'nt mean it does'nt exist.

Hold onto your faith, in patience and the things that are unseen, but alive within you, will soon be seen around you. Seek the face of the Lord today. What is it he is saying to you today? You do not need or want some religious hired hand pastor showing you how to be intimate with your wife/husband do you? Then why allow them to do the same with your God?

We are in the eye of the storm today. Dark days are coming, but they are not here yet. Make the most of today, pray, believe, seek, ask, knock. Do what you can do today with the (parable of the "talents") our Lord gave you. I believe time is short, but that could mean we are with Jesus today, or years from now.

We get one shot at this life, then we will be with the Lord forever (if we are faithful and patient). Please pray for all the brothers, for me and my family, that those of us who are "in Christ" may be counted worthy to escape all thats about to happen and stand before the Son of man. The escape is real, that's a fact, and its coming soon. The lord's grace and peace be upon you.

The Days of Noah

It has been written here in recent days that I sense a stillness in my spirit. I've had a hard time determining exactly what that means. When I sense a shift from "time is short, time is short!" to stillness, what exactly does that mean?

The eye of the storm:

The eye is a region of mostly calm weather found at the center of strong tropical cyclones
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_(cyclone)

Note the words used there "mostly calm weather" found at the center of strong storms. Where do we find ourselves today? The eye of a great big storm. It has been written here again and again that we are living today in a "pre-flood" day, in reference to Noah and Lot. The coming of the Son of man will be exactly like the days of Noah and Lot.

As I look out my window today its a beautiful day, the sun is shining and if one did'nt know better, one would assume that tomorrow would be just like today, but we know that is the reasoning of fools. Today, people are buying and selling, planting and building, marrying and giving in marriage. This kind of a day tends to lull a person into complacency.

This past year has seen a radical shift in the way people look at the world around them. For years the Lord has warned that time is short. The events that have happened over the past 12 months were unthinkable to people just 2-3 years ago, but here we are. Things are changing for the worse in this world, yet the religious preachers and teachers of babylonian churchianity would have you believe that tomorrow will be just like today so carry on as you have always carried on.

Recently, I believe the Lord deposited into my spirit, another task to complete before the door on the Ark is closed. This is a mission for me to do and it has to do with feeding hungry people. Why now? I have no idea. My best guess is that it's something I've always wanted to do for him and perhaps now we have reached a point in time where if it doesn't happen in the near future it won't happen at all.

As I examine where we are now and the past couple years that brought us to this point, I see this: Shock to wake us up, to warn us (in love). Now we have relative calm for people to make up their minds in relative peace before calamity hits. May could be the month that the Lord takes us home, I don't know but I will be on high alert for it. If that does not happen, we could have a handful of months left that could include events that will test our faith as we come face to face with the time of Jacob's trouble. Will it test people's faith to have their faces pressed right up against the very DAY that destruction falls (and the escape happens)? You bet it will.

So far, today is still a day when hammers and saws can be heard working on the Ark before the flood falls from heaven on mankind. There's nothing in the scenery today that even remotely hints at exactly how bad what's coming is going to be. Warning signs are everywhere, but they warn of things men have seen and heard and experienced in the past.

So what's my point today? What do I see ahead of us? The Lord could show up at any moment, so be ready for him. On the other hand, we may have some (a little) time left to do for our Lord whatever it is we have had in our hearts to do for him, but never did. One size shoe will not fit all people in the days ahead, and no one sized shoe fits us all today. The things the Lord has tasked me to do are for me to do. You have something different to do. I may be a toe in the body of Christ and you are an elbow, different parts, different functions, same body.

I see the home stretch before us, like looking at home plate from 3rd base, its not far away. I have asked the Lord that I may able to "finish strong." I don't want to go out in a whimper. I am believing the Lord for something huge to occur between 3rd base and home plate. Something I have always wanted to do for him and never have, dealing with feeding the hungry. I am pregnant with it, praying for it day in and day out, and it will come to pass. Whatever the Lord gives you the faith to do, you can do, that's an absolute certainty.

My last point for today is this: if you want to impress our Lord, then have faith...believe. Think about what an amazing thing it is for an infinite, all powerful, all knowing God to marvel at anything...But men can cause God almighty to marvel, here's how:

Matt 8:5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, 6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Faith that caused God almighty to marvel was found NOT in a religious person, but in a centurion. There are many things to comment on here, but I want to stick with the fact that if you want to impress God, then BELIEVE ...have faith.

The Lord showed me something about this today:

John 6:29
... Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God: to believe in the one whom he has sent."

Think about what that says ^^. What does it mean to "believe in the one whom he has sent?" To believe in the one whom was sent is to believe in Jesus Christ. To believe in Jesus Christ is to believe in the word of God. In other words, believing in the one who was sent is believing the word of God is true, its fact, when God said it, he meant it...ALL OF IT.

To believe parts of the bible like the word of God is a buffet table at lunch time is to partially believe in the one who was sent. Will partial belief in Jesus Christ (the word of God) get a man into heaven? I'll let you answer that.

Today, the Lord has brought to the forefront of my mind what faith and belief really mean, and why they are at the forefront of his thinking, to the point where when he sees a person who has tremendous faith, it makes him marvel----that is no small thing...

I want to finish the race strong. I hope that you want the same thing. In order to finish strong, I believe the Lord has put faith and belief front and center. There is no strong finish for anyone without these things. A people should hear from their God. A people should search the face of their God for the answers they seek. Men do not have the answers we need, the Lord your God has the answers we need.

He is everything, we are nothing. The focus today must be on what brings our Lord glory. We need less of us and more of him each and every day. Apart from "him in us and us in him", we are worthless. In a self centered, narcissistic society such as the one we live in today, that kind of thinking it heretical. The Lord never was, and never will be "politically correct," he is God almighty not some creation of Madison avenue and Hollywood. Seek his face today, learn what belief in the one who was sent really means. Consume the word of God like a starving man. Go to your knees and seek the face of your God. Make it a goal in the few remaining days we have left to cause our Lord to marvel at the faith he sees within you. Start believing today for whatever it is in your heart to do for this marvelous Lord we serve. If you don't start these things today, you may never get the chance to.

Miracle Economy

It seems that nobody can explain these days why the economy is still going. To add to that, nobody has an idea of what's going to happen tomorrow let alone a week-year from now. The reason nobody seems to know what's going on right now is because our God is the one who has everything on life support.

People in the know, know how many times we've come minutes from economic, then societal collapse, but its been averted time and time again. Why? It's not time quite yet. At this point, I really have no idea how long the Lord plans to drag days like today out. These are the pre-flood days, and our God determines when the flood arrives. It's an act of both patience and mercy.

The Lord can show up tonight, no doubt about it, but he could wait, and if he does, we need to make the most of the time. Next month has large "be watching and ready" signs hung all over it. Whether Jesus shows up or not next month is irrelevant, what is relevant is what he finds us doing on the day he shows up. I believe the Lord has deposited something new in my spirit, another task, and with that task he has given me the faith to pray for it to show up here on earth. If he has deposited this new thing for me to do along with the faith to believe it will happen, what does that mean? I don't know.

I have prayed to the Lord on different occasions that I may be able to "finish the race strong." I pray that I will not crawl across the finish line, but sprint across it. Perhaps now is the time to pick up the pace and do whatever needs to be done to finish strong.

The world is hanging on by a thread. The interesting thing is (we see proof of this each day), the Lord can make this go on idefinitely. It's like a man who jumped off a cliff but hangs in mid-air for days instead of falling down to his death. That's where we are, suspended in mid-air until the Lord restores gravity.

If you've ever wanted to do something for the Lord, start praying it into reality everyday. If you love the people in your life, pray for them, all of them. The Lord may come back sometime really soon, it will never be probable but every day it will be possible. Be ready.

The Removal of the Restrainer

2 Thessalonians 2:7
... For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now restraineth will restrain, until he be taken out of the way.

There are people in the Pre-trib community who say that the Holy Spirit will leave this earth at the time of the escape/rapture and that will enable hell to spill out onto this earth. I don't think the way they describe it is accurate. Pentecost is when the church age started, it was when believers were filled with the Holy Spirit, but its not as if the Holy Spirit was'nt on earth at that time was it? God's Spirit is everywhere all the time, but how he operates appears to be different at different times.

This is illustrated by the difference in how the Spirit operated pre and post-Pentecost. This leads me to an interesting point, which is this: if the day of Pentecost started the church age, the day of Pentecost may very well end it. A kind of "reverse pentecost" would restart the clock with Israel on our Lord's timeline.

I find the days just ahead of us to be very interesting:

Gen 7 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. 7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. ...10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened

The day Noah went into the Ark: 17th of Iyyar, 5769 =
Mon, 11 May 2009

Ascension day - May 21st. 40 days after First Fruits. This is the day that Jesus Christ ascended into heaven. He was received by a cloud and the disciples were told he would return the same way.

Pentecost - May 31st. 50 days after First Fruits, always on Sunday. This is the day that God’s clock stopped for Israel and the Church Age clock began.

Look at how pretty that lineup is. May 11-May 21-May 31 = Noah? ( as it was in the days of Noah..), ascension?-caught up in the air-escape, reverse pentecost?-removal of restrainer?

Could May end up being a spectacular month? It could be. Why do I write this? We are called to watch and be ready. If have even an inkling that something might happen, we need to be ready to go. The preparation I'm talking about happens on your knees before the Lord, and throughout your day in your minds and hearts.

There has been something strange about the past week or two or three. I can feel it, but I have no idea what it is or why the change. It's the feel of sitting in a vacuum? That's the best I can describe it. The hot fire within me to tell people, time is short! Has been replaced with stillness, what does that mean? Does it mean the time for shouting this message from the roodtops is done? Does it mean , let those who heard and embraced the warning be watching and ready, let those who dismissed the message continue to "not watch, not be ready?"

I have'nt felt like this...ever. I don't even know what to make of it. Since I have no idea what this is I am sensing, we should increase readiness, increase watchfulness and we will see first hand what happens or what does not happen, meantime we'll BE READY. grace and peace

Faith The Size of a Mustard Seed

Luke 17 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. 6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

For a period of months now, the Lord has impressed upon me the importance of faith. I have been trying to figure out exactly the points he's trying to make. Some were obvious, some not so obvious.

What do I think the Spirit of God is saying to the churches today? I've been on this same thing over and over again. Get back to the fundamentals of the faith. Pray, believe without doubting=faith, read your bibles. Meditate on the word of God day and night. Why are these things important today?

I don't know how much time we have left, but I believe the Lord has spoken to me that whatever it is I have in my heart to do for him, I need to get busy with it today-starting with prayer and faith. If there is anything you thought you would like to do, if there was nothing standing in your way, and you were able to do whatever you wanted for our God, what would that thing be?

Here's where prayer and your faith come in. Read this again:

Luke 17 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. 6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

I have pondered for years why things like "The Secret" and the message of self-help guru's seems to work, even when they are not believers in our God, or they preach a message that is contradictory to our God's message. The reason why these things work is because our Lord has created LAWS that are immutable. The LAWS our God has established from the beginning of the earth govern all things, all the time, 24/7-365 days a year. The laws our God has established are evidence that he exists. The atheist can argue with you about how a single celled blob on a beach somewhere somehow "evolved" into the mindbogglingly (is that a word?:-) complex beings that humans are. What they cannot tell you and never will be is what were the LAWS that governed the evolution of things? Random explains nothing. Someone established the laws, who was it? We know who it was while they flail away in the darkness for an answer to that question.

Back to my point, these laws that our God has established work all the time, every time. Consider the woman with the issue of blood, what happened with her?

Matt 9:20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Notice, that woman did'nt even pray to be made whole, she simply BELIEVED, there was no doubt in this woman that if she could touch our Lord's cloak, bam, done deal healed, and guess what? It happened exactly as she believed it would.

The example we started with today illustrates the same point:

Luke 17 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. 6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

What do we see here? Faith is the atomic energy, the gold bar currency, the power that moves heaven and earth according to pre-established laws which is why you see a kind of formula above. Have faith, then act on that faith "say to this sycamine tree" and it will obey you. Notice it does'nt say the Lord would yank the tree out and toss it into the sea, it says that thing you had faith for obeyed you. Why? It has to, no choice, its a LAW. Humans break laws all the time but in the spirit world apparently the laws are iron clad ubreakable rods that do not bend, they just are.

The start of these things is to "have faith." Where does this faith come from? The apostles said to Jesus above "increase our faith!" The apostles asked Jesus for the faith, so where should we go to increase our faith? You guessed it, the Son of God, our Lord and master. People don't move mountains today because they don't have the faith to move mountains, its really that simple. We receive by asking. Ask and ye shall receive, remember? The other caveat here is that our Lord serves as a quality control over the things we have faith for. Do you think he's going to deposit the faith in you to lay hold of things that will destroy you? I don't think so.

Okay, this has been a longwinded way of coming back around to what I was saying earlier. What is it you have in your heart to do for our God before you meet him face to face? Are you sick of the corporate rat race and you'd rather serve the Lord by feeding the hungry, or building homes for the poor, what is it that is in your heart? "How"it will be done is our God's department, "what" and "why" is yours. What is it you would do for him and why do you want to do it. Your life leading up to the day the Lord shows up for us could be as different as night is from day if you would only believe and not doubt. Pray, seek his face, dream big, get pregnant and do not abort that thing in your heart that will serve the kingdom of our God. Erase from your mind everything this sick babylonian system of churchianity has taught you about what it means to serve the Lord. You have a bible read it for yourself. The babylonian priests (pastors) will not be there to answer for you on the day you stand before our master. You will answer.

I believe that we are standing on 3rd base with home plate just a dash and slide away. Between here and there will be the last chance to change course, to set things right, to stop procrastinating, to dream big, to abandon the life of quiet desperation that so many live. The laws are immutable, Jesus is listening right now. If you ask, and he deposits the faith in you, you can and will move mountains. What is in your heart today? What do you want to look back on with a joy swelled heart and say "Lord, we did it!!!!" and he'll say "of course we did, I don't lie :-)

This is huge guys, I don't know if I will write on this topic again. The Lord has dealt with me on this issue, the words you read here have been given to me and I am a nobody, but I am a nobody with a task to do, and a place within the kingdom of our God. I am also a nobody who is your true brother if you are "in Christ." I don't know how much time is left but we have been told to make the most of the days that are left.

If Therefore Thou Shalt Not Watch

The Lord dropped this one straight into my head this afternoon with some commentary:

Rev 3: 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Who is he talking to here? The Church.

What's he talking about? Watching

Watching for what? His arrival, his coming

This is very specific and timely. We know there are people within the church today who specifically refuse to watch for his coming today because their doctrine says he can't show up until sometime mid-trib,post-trib, pre-wrath.

What does the Lord say about these people, these who "will not watch?" He will come like a thief to them. Why? They WERE'NT WATCHING. The only time a thief would surprise someone is if he came when they were not watching, correct?

Contrast the groups for yourself:

Which group is watching for the Lord's return today and everyday till he reveals himself? Pre-trib, pre-flood, pre-fire and brimstone (Noah and Lot), Escape from all believers.

Who specifically in the church is not watching for the Lord's return today and will argue with anyone and everyone who claims he can return today? mid-trib,pre-wrath, post-trib teachers, and those who think there is no escape at all.

The church has been warned in very plain language. Jesus will come like a thief to those who are caught not watching when he shows up. The only group I know of who will not possibly be affected by the sudden and unexpected return of the Lord "like a thief" are those who believe the word of God literally, those who heed to warning to be ready every day for Jesus Christ.

This is an open and shut case folks. It's as easy as pinning down someone with the question on the escape.

If you are mid-trib,pre-wrath, post-trib and not praying to escape all, why not? Does'nt the word of God tell you to? If you are praying to escape all, why? Your doctrine nullifies the word of God relating to the escape..

If you are mid-trib,pre-wrath,post-trib, are you watching today for the arrival of the Lord? (NO) Does'nt the word tell us that those caught by surprise (like a thief) are those who are not watching when he shows up?

How can those that are looking for the Lord's return everyday be caught on the wrong side of "watching?" They can't, they are continually watching for the return of the Lord.

How can the mid-trib,pre-wrath,post-trib teacher be caught "like a thief," unprepared, not watching for the Lord's return? Easy, Jesus could show up today.

The message is clear. The church has been warned. The people who teach doctrines that conflict with the straightforward reading of God's word will pay a price for it. If that price means missing the escape and entering the tribulation, oh my...

3 Minute Reading Assignment

You really need to read Wilkerson's blog post this morning:

http://davidwilkersontoday.blogspot.com/

Last paragraph from today's post:

The Bible could not make this matter any clearer. Righteousness is believing the promises of God, being fully persuaded he’ll keep his word.

Many promises come to mind, but especially the escape promised in Luke 21:36. If righteousness is being fully persuaded that our Lord will keep his word, what is it called when you are not fully persuaded that for example, there will be an escape from all? That's what the bible says isn't it? Pray for an escape from all? Is it unrighteousness when you are not fully persuaded that our Father's promises will be carried out to the letter with i's dotted and t's crossed?

Think about it, grace and peace

Time is a Luxury

Last night I watched the new Will Smith movie called 7 pounds. *spoiler alert*

Basically the movie is about a guy who finds 7? "good" people and then commits suicide to give those people his things to make their lives better. Yea, I cried at the end, but as I was watching the story wrap up, I was impressed by the fact that our Lord gave himself up for all of mankind, sinner and "good" people alike. A guy in the movie kills himself so people on earth can have their lives improved with temporal things, our Lord gave himself up so we can have peace (within ourselves) and eternal life. I cried at the end of the movie, then I was overwhelmed by the love of our God toward us.

Before falling asleep I sense the Lord's presence very close to me. I guess you could call it some parent/child bonding time. While we were "in the moment" I had to ask him about timing. How much time is left? Where do we stand on the world/prophetic timeline? No answer....Some of the conversation last night I begged him to remind me of this morning so I could share with you. The parts I remember now relate to prayer and faith.

Here are the details on it, consider these thoughts:

If you really believe that prayer has an impact on this world, and you say you love people in this world (family, friends, etc) and you don't pray for them, do you really love them? Maybe you love them, but you really don't believe that prayer does much so you don't bother praying for those around you.

Slap yourself across the face hard enough to leave slight red marks, then splash some ice cold water across your face then pay attention carefully. Prayer is an unbelievably powerful gift we have been given. Its a telephone line, radio whatever you want to call it straight to the throne of God Almighty who (by the way) is also your FATHER. He's your da da, papa, parent, you get the picture. He loves you with a father's favor.

Prayer brings the future into the present. It transforms the unseen into the seen, it is real and it is powerful. In order for prayer to be effective, you must beleive. You must labor at it. You must be pregnant with the things you are believing for and not abort halfway through the pregnancy like so many do. You must pray the issues of the heart and mind through from conception in the spirit world through to appearance in the physical world.

I have lost all sense of timing as far as where we are in proximity to the end. Jesus could show up today, or next year, or the year after that. The things happening around us lead me to believe we are close to the escape and rapture, however, we have seen first hand how our Lord's patience trumps the devil's desire to get at this world. Our God can string this out as long as he wants to with signs of impending tribulation all over the place. The warning signs are everywhere, no doubt about that, but what does that tell us about how much time is left?

The theme that resonates within me today is be ready today, and be prepared to wait. Only a fool would not be ready to meet the Lord face to face today. The escape/tribulation may or may not start today, but you could die tomorrow, then what? Then you hope you were ready to see the Lord face to face. Some timing trivia that probably has nothing to do with anything, but possibly may be significant:

May 11, 2009 (iyarr 17) is the day Noah entered the Ark.
May 21, 2009 is exactly 3.5 years from Dec 21, 2012.

I treat these things like trivia now. What do times and dates matter when we are maintaining a state of watchfulness and readiness day in and day out? We who are watching and ready have at least the wisdom to do so, while many tell you it's wasting your time looking for Jesus today.

The most powerful thing that came out of my short close up time with the Lord last night was this: If you say you love someone and you are not praying for them WHAT IS THAT? Kick yourself in the rear end and get to it. Childlike faith and belief moves mountains. It is ridiculed by the world (as it applies to our God) but highly praised by our Lord.

Mark 10:13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Return to the fundamentals of the faith today because time could be shorter than we think. There is nothing more fundamental than childlike faith and prayer. Read your loveletters (bibles).

One last note then I'm done. Who am I to speak on God's behalf?

Thanks for the question:

I am a child of the most High God, a member of the royal household, a son, a prince, a king/priest, an ambassador of the kingdom of heaven. That enough?

I will say it again here, I consider myself to be a nothing on this earth, a nobody, the least of the servants of our Father in heaven. I do not need to claim that I am anybody because if I am "in Christ" the bible clearly tells you who I am and what my position is. This applies not just to me, but to EVERYONE who is "in Christ." This is another huge reason why the clergy/laity, nicolaitan based pastoral system is so sickening. Is a co-heir with Christ, a prince of the Most High God a "layperson?" Give me a break...

On this earth, we are slaves, we are servants of Christ, period. Men need to get rid of their ego boosting titles that they have given themselves throughout history and read a literal translation of the bible. We are "ministrants" which means servants. Does'nt boost the ego but it builds the kingdom quite effectively. Apart from Christ we are vapor, "in him" however..what we are is mindblowing.

proofs for the statements above:

Ephesians 6:20 For which I am an ambassador in chains; that in
... for whose sake I am an ambassador in chains, desiring to declare the gospel as boldly as I should

Proverbs 13:17 A wicked messenger falls into adversity, But a ...
... A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.

Rev 5 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Romans 8:17 And if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow
and if children, then heirs too--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ
; if indeed we are sharers in Christ's sufferings, in order that we may also be ...

Rev 3: 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches

We will sit in the throne of the King of Kings, with the King of Kings? Yes, that's what it says.

Here's proof of how men have butchered the KJV to boost their own ego's and their beloved nicolaitan system:

1 Tim 3-KJV-This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop?, he desireth a good work. 2 A bishop? then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

1 Tim 3-YLT- Stedfast is the word: If any one the oversight doth long for, a right work he desireth; 2 it behoveth, therefore, the overseer to be blameless, of one wife a husband, vigilant, sober, decent, a friend of strangers, apt to teach

Monumental difference, one is a title of nobility who lords it over mankind, the other is a fellow slave/servant who knows how things should operate within the kingdom of God and ensures things work the way they are supposed to. There are many many more examples, throughout the New Testament, look them up.

Time is a luxury, do not squander it. We are dearly loved-grace and peace

So What Should The Church Look Like?

It has been demonstrated by the writing here that this thing calling itself the Christian church in the world today is anything but. The pastoral system is idolatrous, it is the nicolaitan system Jesus twice says he hated in Rev 2. What calls itslef the church is not the organic living body of Christ but a dead, lifeless man made organization.

It was written here yesterday that Paul never once appointed a pastor in all his travels throughout the known world at that time. Not only, did he not appoint a pastor, he never even mentions one. That should tell you something. Today's babylonian form of churchianity is wholly constructed around the CEO/guru style spiritual hired hands called "pastors" yet we see NONE of them in the pages of the New Testament (shepherd, poimen-not "pastor" is what's mentioned in Ephesians 4:11-check the literal translation.)

Where do I get this spiritual "hired hand" stuff idea from when I reference "pastors?"

John 10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

What does this say? First of all, the sheep do not belong to these men, period. The sheep belong to Christ Jesus alone. Second, these hirelings do not have to physically leave the sheep to let the wolf in. They can leave the sheep through their doctrine, through their perpetuation of a dead system of "playing church," and they can leave the sheep through perpetuating the idolatry which is the pastoral system. These GURU/CEO types stand up in front of people week in and week out. They present themselves as somehow "closer to God" than you or me. The idolatry with these people is twofold. First of all, pride is lifted up in these men's hearts. As they stand alone in front of many people week after week, the original sin of pride begins to weave its way through their hearts, minds and spirits like a poison. The other side of this coin is when people who listen to these Guru/CEO type begin to "idolize" them in their hearts. At the moment this happens, the sin of idolatry has been committed. It does'nt matter how big or small the "tower of babel/church building is, its the system that perpetuates the idolatry.

So we know what the church should not look like: look around you today-that's how it should not look.

So how should the church look?

We know from the history of Israel, and from the pages of the New Testament that the true church is small. Over and over and over again, a remnant was saved out of multitudes. Israel was the smallest among the nations. We see in Matt 7:14 that few are saved. We see in Rev 3:10 that a weak but patient church is the one counted worthy to be kept from the hour of trial coming on the world.

We see this in the book of Acts:

Acts 15:4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them

What do we see here? We see Paul being received by apostles and elderS<---That's elder with an S on the end to indicate its plural not some guru, no pastors mentioned-again. Philemon 1:2 And to Apphia our sister, and to Archippus our fellow
... to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in your house.

Greetings to the church, no mention of a pastor anywhere^^. What do we see about the church above? It's in their house... It does'nt even say they "meet" there, it says they ARE there.

Here it is again, the same exact thing:

Colossians 4:15 Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea and also ...
... Give my greetings to the brothers in Laodicea, especiallyto Nympha and the church that is in her house. ...

James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for
... Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and theyshould pray for him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.

Once again, something needs to be done in the church and who does it? Elders---PLURAL, no mention of "pastors"..anywhere.

At this point, we know that the true church is small, and back in the day, there were churches in people's homes. Does that make sense? No "jumbo mortgage" needed to pay off mult-million dollar loans on buildings God never asked you to build. A plurality of older men, who had fought the good fight and were seasoned in the Lord's service, to oversee the church. No mention anywhere of these Guru/Fortune 500/CEO style leaders who produce pride in themselves and idolatry in those who listen to them.

How many people does it take for the church to be assembled? 2? 3? more? That's for the Spirit of God to determine on a case by case basis. Men do not build the church, Jesus does. The Holy Spirit will lead in all affairs of the church, but men do not like to wait, so they just plow forward in their own mind and their own strength to do things that should not be done, like participate in the dead, idolatrous system of babylonian churchianity and the idolatrous pastoral system.

If you have a couple believers, maybe just two, it does'nt matter where they are, that's where the church is. We cannot "go to church" because WE ARE THE CHURCH. How can these small groups of believers proceed? Try acting like a family, break bread together, take turns reading the bible out loud, pray together. If they do nothing more than that, there would be power that would shake the world coming out of that house. Men want to develop organizations, build buildings for their own glory, our God is interested in nurturing a family here. If a few believers are together and they want to do something, they need to ask the Lord about it then WAIT for him to respond. If they never hear anything from him then they should'nt do a thing. The true church should be what your family is. We are the body of Christ, we are a family, we do love each other, but most of all we love HIM---Jesus Christ our Lord and Master. Wait for him, ask him in all your ways and you won't end up in a satanic, lifeless organization made by men which is what 99% of the so called "churches" are today.

The Lord has always acted contrary to the religious masses. Go back and read your bibles. The only people our Lord drop kicked and body slammed were the religious people of the day. Nothing has changed. If Jesus showed up today, and his will was done here on earth as it is in heaven, the landscape of churchianity as you know it would be scorched earth.

It is fundamental to understanding what the church looks like that there are few in it. Not because our Lord wants few, but because of the decisions men make for themselves. People do not need to know how to organize the church, they need to know how to act like a family and wait on the guidance of the Holy Spirit to direct ALL their ways.

If you want to know what the church looks like, turn away from this world and forget everything this world has presented to you fronting as "the church." Read your bibles, pray, start small, wait on the Spirit of God, act like a family. When in doubt, do nothing...wait, keep it simple. This world spits on, ridicules small things, but the Lord has shown me how small things are EVERYTHING. The small things of the earth (bacteria, viruses, atoms) bring men to their knees. That's a lesson to mankind that man is nothing and God is everything. A small family of believers that acts like family, at a house or dunkin donuts or whatever the Lord leads them to, will have more power that all the "pastors" and their monument to men church buildings put together.

What is the Spirit of God saying to the churches today? I believe it is a return to the fundamentals of the faith. Back to absolute basics. If time is short, this is the last chance for men to "get it right" before all hell breaks loose. We are dearly loved children, grace and peace

What the Church should look like Part 2
