Iran says the west is supporting ISIS, are they correct? Absolutely, the proof is overwhelming all you have to do is follow the money. Somebody has been bankrolling ISIS. Somebody has been allowing ISIS to bring its oil across its borders and sell it on the world market. Somebody has been providing ISIS with weapons and training. These things do not happen in a vacuum and you can been 100% assured that any self respecting intel shop has had this figured out from the beginning. So what?
So, the Lord our God has been right all along (of course). What is happening on the global stage is players are being identified playing their end time roles. What did the Lord God tell us?
Isaiah 13:17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
18Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.
19And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
Who does the Lord say He is going to raise up against Babylon? The Medes. Who are the Medes? The Medes=Iran. Who is the entire west (including Israel) aligned against in the Middle East? Iran=the Medes. So those the Medes are opposing make up Babylon. Any time Israel was living in disobedience, the Lord sent some external enemy against them as a form of judgement.
The United States and Israel could have wiped ISIS off the map when they first popped their ugly faces up in the middle east, but they didn't. Why not? ISIS does not attack Israel. Why not? ISIS does not attack the United States. Why not? ISIS does not attack Saudi Arabia. Why not? Again, ask a better question, get a better answer. These countries are Babylon and Iran has been raised up by the Lord to stand against them. To what end? To this end:
Luke 21:20 When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.
The Lord is at work in this world doing exactly what He told us He would do. It is happening before our eyes day in and day out. ISIS is a proxy arm of Babylon (the countries of the west) and Babylon is headed for disaster:
Rev 14:8 8A second angel followed and said, “ ‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’a which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”
Who is it that has kicked the Almighty out of its schools and court houses? Who is it that has created LGTQ pride month (not tolerance but PRIDE) to be celebrated nation wide? Who is it that has embraced the murder of its unborn children by the millions? Who is it that has forgotten the fear of the Lord and instead has embraced greed, adultery, idolatry and every other form of wickedness under the sun? Who is it that has a love for exporting never ending war to the rest of the world? Who is the largest exporter of pornography and moral filth to the rest of the world? Who is it that has rejected its Christian foundation and exchanged it for a love of Islam? Answer these questions and you'll be getting warm as to who Babylon is.
One of the major themes playing out before us is wickedness being exposed. All of our politicians, the media, just about every major corporation out there-in short the entire world is being publicly outed as the anti-Christian entities that they are. Them and the people who embrace them are being spotlighted by the Almighty. What was in the dark is being brought out into the light and the majority is just fine with it! Those who are of this world, embrace the world. Those who are not of this world, reject all of it.
The stage is being set for the end time drama our Lord told us about to be played out exactly as it was written. There is a time for everything and it will be our Lord's timing, not the enemy's or this world's timing that prevails to bring about our Lord's will. It is for us to sit back in hope, prayer and admiration at how precise our God has been in predicting what would happen. We can take comfort in the fact that the same God that predicted all this has made us promises of escape and provision.
One way or another, all of us who are in Christ will escape the flesh, the enemy and this world to stand before our Lord Jesus Christ just as it was written:
Luke 21:36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”
