Our Spiritual Immune System

It is said that many sicknesses or pathogens etc live in the human body but do not manifest as sickness because our immune system keeps them in check.  The same can be said for our spiritual body.  Jesus Christ, His power and presence keeps sickness in check within the spirit body which in turn affects the natural body.  Understanding this goes a long way toward understanding the problems we see around us.

Whoever allowed prayer to be removed from schools killed the immune system in schools now they are shooting grounds.  Whoever allowed the ten commandments to be removed from courthouses allowed them to become kangaroo courts.  The active suppression of our God and His Word in society has resulted in a tsunami of societal sickness and its getting worse by the day.  The answer?  The answer is the presence and power of our God and His Word, period.

As long as we have breath in our nostrils we should be warring in prayer to overcome the obstacles arrayed before us.  Yes, we are up against seemingly insurmountable odds, but it only appears that way.....

2 Kings 6:
15 When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked.

16 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

18 As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, “Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.

19 Elisha told them, “This is not the road and this is not the city. Follow me, and I will lead you to the man you are looking for.” And he led them to Samaria.

Be encouraged, we never go out to battle alone in this world:

Deut 20:4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
