This one is not going away.
Why did Trump misjudge this situation? Because up until now, he could (almost) do whatever he wanted and the base would have his back. Time and time again issues rolled off his back like water off a duck. But this time is different. Trump needs to understand he is not working alone, he is not standing alone. It is the Kingdom of Heaven that has had his back up to this point. It is Almighty God who saved him from "decarbonization" and attack after attack by the enemy. And....our God has rules:
James 4:6
But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
1 Peter 5:5
In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
It has been one year to the day that Trump was humbled in that farmers field in Pennsylvania. He was brought down to his knees with his shoes knocked off in the presence of Almighty God who saved him. For a time, Trump actually acted like a humble man who acknowledged the God of Heaven who rules over the affairs of men. We do not know all the details but we do know this, this time-this issue is not rolling off Trumps back like water off a duck. This time, a number of issues have converged that wont be waved away and wont be dismissed with a elementary school level lie.
We need to pray that Trump will humble himself and seek the Lord's Face in his time of need. This issue could absolutely sink Trump's presidency and all the good that did come with it. Who knew? Who would have guessed? Why this issue? Why now? Because there is a God in Heaven who does what pleases Him when it pleases Him. And this same God in Heaven answers prayer. Sometimes the answers to our prayers take unique unexpected turns we could not foresee and never would have guessed:
Isa 55:9
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Trump is a type and shadow of Cyrus of Persia:
Isa 45
9“Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker,
those who are nothing but potsherds
among the potsherds on the ground.
Does the clay say to the potter,
‘What are you making?’
Does your work say,
‘The potter has no hands’?
10Woe to the one who says to a father,
‘What have you begotten?’
or to a mother,
‘What have you brought to birth?’
11“This is what the Lord says—
the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker:
Concerning things to come,
do you question me about my children,
or give me orders about the work of my hands?

and created mankind on it.
My own hands stretched out the heavens;
I marshaled their starry hosts.

says the Lord Almighty.”
The Lord says "I will make all his ways straight." Sometimes when those ways are not straight it requires some pain, some bending, some breaking, some realignment to straighten things out that are not currently straight.
We need to pray for Mr Trump that he will do the right thing here. What he needs is to bend the knee to the Almighty. Presidents and or Kings that do not know their place before the Almighty can and will be humbled. Especially those who are walking or expected to walk with God.
We do not want the narcissistic psychopath globalist party of demons back in power. That means Trump and his administration needs to do some soul searching and some house cleaning and they need to do it now. We pray that Trump and his administration will be disciplined and humbled but not destroyed. We pray that the outcome of this fiasco is life and peace for the Church, the Kingdom of God and all those who will be saved in the future through them both.
