I Hope I'm Wrong

It brings me no pleasure to point out that most people will not be saved (Matt 7:14). I hope I'm wrong about that. I hope I'm wrong about once saved always saved. If OSAS is true, alot more people will make it into heaven. After all, how hard is it to make a decision in a few minutes time and never have to worry again about going to heaven? Not hard at all. I hope I'm wrong about the apostasy in the church, I hope things are MUCH BETTER than the way I see them. I hope this world is not going to hell in a handbasket all around us these days.

2 peter 3: 17Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position.

I hope that 2 Peter 3 does'nt mean that you can fall from your secure position.

I hope the people around us today are'nt like this:

lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

I hope I'm wrong about all of it.

What Word's Can Be Used to Describe This?

If you watch this video and see how many people walk and drive by this man laying in the middle of a busy road, it's mind numbing. It literally shocks the conscience. The title of the article says it all 'inhumanity' I can think of a word to describe it: demonic. Demonic is inhuman. I think the bible has some words to describe it too:

2 Timothy 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

I wonder how many "church people" walked and drove by that man on the street. Those same people will show up on Sunday to their spiritual jiffy lube to be "serviced" and walk away feeling just fine...just fine. How sickening, how absolutely SICKENING. What do these people expect will be the verdict on their lives on judgement day? I suspect they don't think much about that, the probably don't care about that either. We are there brothers...these are the last of the last of the last days. Time is SHORT, pray for the true body of Christ which is the church, grace and peace
