This time of year every year should be highlighted for all of us waiting to see that door in heaven opened... (Rev 3/Matt 25)

Summary of reasons why Christians expect to see the rapture happen on the

1. All the Spring Feasts were fulfilled at Christ's first coming, and on the exact day of the feast. All the Fall Feasts picture the second advent, and the Feast of Trumpets is the first of the fall feasts, picturing the rapture.
2. The Feast of Trumpets is when the "last trump" of the rapture of 1 Cor 15 is blown.
3. The Feast of Trumpets is known as the Wedding of the Messiah, and the Church is the Bride of Christ, and the rapture is when the Church is caught up to heaven to be wed with Christ.
4. The Feast of Trumpets happens on the "new moon", which is 29.5 days after the last one, meaning it might occur on the 29th or 30th day, nobody knows for sure. "Of that day or hour no man knows" is an expression referring to this feast, and thus, the rapture.
5. "Of that day or hour no man knows, but my Father only" is an expression used by a groom when asked when his wedding will be. He says this because it is his Father that will tell him when his preparations on the bridal chamber are completed and it is time. Again, the wedding pictures the rapture.
6. The "Open Door" of the rapture in Matt 25, and Rev 3, & Rev 4:1 is a symbol of the Feast of Trumpets. [Ezek 46:1] "Thus says the Lord GOD: The gate of the inner court that faces east shall be shut on the six working days; but on the sabbath day it shall be opened and on the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
7. We are told that the new moon and the Feasts of the Lord are a shadow of things to come in Col 2:16,17. Since the Feast of Trumpets is the only Feast of the Lord that falls on a new moon, we should take particular note.
8. There are seven days of awe in between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement. These picture the seven years of tribulation. Atonement pictures Satan being defeated and cast away at the end of tribulaion. If you add the two day Trumpets feast, and the day of atonement, the 7 days of awe are "ten days of tribulation" which might be referred to in Rev. 2:10.
9. In the Jewish Wedding, a marriage takes place over a period of time known as the "bridal week". During the bridal week, the groom and bride have sex in the bridal chamber. At the end of the week, there is a marriage supper. Compare Judges 14, Rev. 19, and Gen. Genesis 29:22-28 This bridal week will be the tribulation week on earth, while the bride of Christ is in heaven.
10. In the Jewish Wedding, the groom comes for his bride "like a thief in the night" to take (size / rapture) her away and into the bridal chamber for the bridal week at his father's house.
11. The Feast of Trumpets is also known as the coronation of the Messiah, when he will start reigning as king, thus the beginning of the "Day of the Lord", which includes the tribulation.
12. It is also time for the bema judgment, or the judgement of the works of the righteous, and judgement must begin at the house of the Lord.
[2Cor 11:2] For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

From the above verse and Concordance meaning of the word, one meaning of Trumpets is concealment.

The day is called "the hidden day" as an expression or Jewish Idiom.
The day is referred to as "that day or hour no man knows", because it happens at the first sight of the sliver of a new moon, which can happen on either the 29th or 30th day, and thus, uncertain. Also, this phrases is associated with a wedding in Matt 25:13
The "mystery" of the rapture happens on this day. 1 Cor 15:52
And those caught up in the rapture will be hidden away in that Heavenly Bridal Chamber, the many mansions of John 14:2,3.
[Zeph 2:3] Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger.
[Pss 27:5] For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Two Main Rapture Verses
[1 Corinthians 15:51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
[1 Corinthians 15:52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

[1 Thessalonians 4:16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
[1 Thessalonians 4:17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Born Again / Made incorruptable / Baptism
at the rapture on the Feast of Trumpets

The New Moon is "born again" at the Feast of Trumpets.

Believers are "born again" at baptism.

John 3
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

I understand this question "art thou a master of Israel and knowest not these things?" to mean that, Jesus believed a master of Israel should have known about being baptised by water and holy spirit and being born again into incorruption at the rapture to enter heaven.

[1 Corinthians 15:51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
[1 Corinthians 15:52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[1 Corinthians 15:53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Certainly, at the rapture, the change to incorruptible is like being born again, made new.

[1Pet 1:23] Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

As the moon represents believers; both are "born again" at the Feast of Trumpets.

The moon reflects the light of the sun, as believers reflect the light of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Even the diameter of the moon ALSO reflects the diamater of the sun, when multiplied by 4. The diamater of the sun is 864,000 miles. The diameter of the moon is 2160 miles. Multiplied by 4, the diameter of the moon is 8640 miles. Containing the same 864 number. The 24 hours in a day, multiplied by 60 minutes and 60 seconds give us 8640 seconds in a day.

The number 4, in Hebrew, is dalet, and is the forth letter of the alphabet, and also means door. Jesus came 2000 years ago, about at year 4000 since creation. The Lord Jesus Christ said he was the door.
[John 10:9] I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

We go through the open door (4, Jesus Christ) at the rapture, on the feast of trumpets, on the new moon.

The Lord Jesus Christ, like the sun, is the light of the world, and we reflect his light, like the moon.


[Mal 4:2] But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

[John 8:12] Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

[Mat 5:16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The rapture in Rev. 12 is a rapture of a new born child, the Church.

[Rev 12:4] And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

[Rev 12:5] And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Jesus was not caught up to God as a child, and it seems rather pointless to rehash the resurrection with figurative language that does not accurately picture Jesus only. Remember, the Church is also called the "body of Christ". That this is not only describing Jesus is evident in the fact that his bride, the Church also rules with a rod of iron: Christ rules, and we rule as his bride (also with a rod of iron), but the Lord Jesus Christ is the head.

[Rev 2:26] He who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, I will give him power over the nations,
[Rev 2:27] and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received power from my Father;

[Rev 5:10] And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

The "man child" is spoken of in Isaiah as a "nation being born" before the labor pains of tribulation. This represents the rapture before the tribulation; being born, made new, incorruptable, at the rapture.

Isaiah 66:
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once?
for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

The resurrection is also described as being reborn.

[Col 1:18] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

To summarize so far:
The Feast of Trumpets speaks of the moon being reborn.
Revelation 12 speaks of a newly born man-child being raptured.

Rev 12 has actually been playing out in the stars over Jerusalem exactly during the Feast of Trumpets for four years, from 1996, '97, '98, & '99.

The moon was "birthed" between the legs of the constellation virgo, showing that the man-child of revelation 12 is the new moon.

Thus, when the moon is reborn, at the new moon, it is a highly appropriate time for the rapture and resurrection. The Feast of Trumpets is the only Feast on a new moon.

More "birth" scriptures, having to do with the rapture &/or the tribulation "time of trouble":

1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

The tribulation is also known as the "time of Jacob’s trouble"

Jeremiah 30:
6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

From John 3, recall, we see that Baptism is being born again, with water and Holy Spirit.
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Baptism (& being born again) is also a symbol of death and resurrection, which occurs at the rapture.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Hebrews 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Finally, one of the most unusual raptures (harpazo) in the Bible is in Acts, at a baptism.

Acts 8
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away (harpazo) Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

Rev. 12 in the Stars on the Feast of Trumpets

For the last four years, 1996-1999, at the Feast of Trumpets, Rev. 12 has been playing out in the stars, with the birth of the new moon right between the legs of the virgin, the constellation of Virgo. Once again, this shows that the moon, which is representing the man-child, in Rev. 12, represents believers, who will be caught up to heaven in the pre tribulation rapture on the Feast of Trumpets.

In Revelation 12, "a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and on her head a crown of twelve stars; she was with child and she cried out in her pangs of birth, in anguish for delivery... And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bear a child, that he might devour her child when she brought it forth; she brought forth a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to His throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which to be nourished for 1260 days."

Consider the following signs in the heavens that portray the above verses. In the years 1996 to 1999, precisely on the Feast of Trumpets, the new moon is "born" in the constellation of Bethulah (the Virgin) on this date during each of these four years. It will then move directly to the feet of the Virgin within 24 hours. The Sun is just below the horizon, so that Bethulah is "clothed" with the Sun. Positioned over the Virgin's head is the constellation known as "Bernice's Hair". This is the crown of twelve stars! And higher, above her legs, is Draco, the Dragon, poised to devour her child when it is born. The entire scenario portrays the nation of Israel as the woman, giving birth to Messiah, and being persecuted by Satan, who attempts to kill the man child. The child ascends to heaven, as Jesus did. The woman is crowned with the 12 Apostles - or the apostolic ministry. This particular positioning of the constellation Bethulah (the Virgin) - about to give 'birth' to the moon, has never occurred before, and will never occur again, due to the procession of the equinoxes.

Paul was most likely referring to the Feast of the Lord when he wrote "times and seasons" in 1 Thess 5:1, since he was writing to the educated Jews he converted at the Jewish synagog in Thessalonia. (Acts 17). The Jews would be intimately familiar with all of the Feasts since they celebrated them annually. In particular, Paul was probably referring to that one particular Feast of the Lord related to the subject of the passage which is the rapture. The rapture, of course, is also an assembly, a calling together, a gathering together.

For those who would say that the Feasts are no longer important, I would ask, what does forever mean?
For those who would say that the Feasts are no longer important because these are Jewish Feasts and not Christian Feasts, I would reply, God said these were HIS feasts, not Jewish feasts!

[Lev 23:2] "Say to the people of Israel, The appointed feasts of the LORD which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, my appointed feasts, are these.

And why did Paul, minister to the Gentiles, insist on keeping them himself?

Acts 18:21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

Furthermore, the Feasts will be kept even in the millennium.

Zech 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Before someone accuses me of legalism, or preaching works of righteousness, let me say this. The New Testament says not to judge others concerning how we view the holydays.

[Col 2:16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
[Col 2:17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

And that observing or celebrating the holydays is not how one achieves salvation. Salvation is through belief and testimony of Jesus crucified and resurrected. The Feasts, and all of the law, teaches us about Jesus. Just as the spring feasts were prophetic of the first advent of Jesus, so too, I believe the Fall feasts are prophetic of the second advent of Jesus, from the rapture to the second coming and the millennium.

Awakening is an expression for resurrection.

Judgment seat of Christ/Feast of Trumpets
Note the similarities in Neh 8 to the following:

[2Cor 5:10] For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Judgement seat means, literally, a RAISED PLATFORM

[Rom 14:10] But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Nehemiah 8:1 And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.
2 And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.
3 And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.
4 And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:
6 And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.
7 Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place.
8 So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
9 And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
11 So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.
12 And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.
13 And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the law.

The description of the Judgement seat of Christ is completed in Daniel 7, and Revelation 4 & 5, both of which allude to the rapture, revelations 4 starting out with it.

Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

It could be that "to stand before Christ" is a picture referring to the Feast of Trumpets, because of the picture of the people standing before the open books that are read, and the quote by Paul listed above, "we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ". If this is so, then perhaps the sixth seal also refers to the Feast of Trumpets. I strongly believe the rapture will take place before or at the start of the Day of the Lord, which is the day of wrath.

Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

This judgement seat comparison alone has been described as "proof positive" that the rapture will occur on the Feast of Trumpets, because the imagry of the rehearsals and observance of the Feast of Trumpets in Neh 8, and quotes from this raised platform/judement seat, and quotes from the New Testament match up so well.

The Feast of Trumpets is a Day of Joy
I find it very interesting that the Levites say this is a day of Joy in Nehemiah, because neither Numbers nor Leviticus alone say that this is a day of joy. There must be other verses besides in the instructions in Numbers 10 or Leviticus 23 that say this is a Day of Joy.

Nehemiah 8:
9 And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Pss 89:15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

I'm not sure if the saints of the Church age will be judged at the same time as the Old Testament Saints.
[1Cor 15:23] But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Remember, there was no punctuation in the Bible. So, it could read like a list, "Christ, the first fruits, afterward they that are Christ's at his coming"

The term firstfruits applies not just to Christ, but to the Bride as well:

[Rom 16:5] Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my well-beloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

Also, there is a distinction between Old Testament saints and our age:

[Mat 11:11] Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

The 5 verses in Psalm 100 point to the pre trib rapture. The tribulation is described is Psalms 101-107.

[Pss 100:5] For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

1. The joyful noise is the trumpet blast of the rapture, heard around the world.

The Feast of Trumpets, on the first day of the seventh month, is a joyful day.

2. "Come before his presence" and "with singing" is similar to other rapture expressions and descriptions of being in heaven:

[Pss 100:2] Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

[Revelation 4:1] After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

[Isa 26:20] Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

[Rev 5:9] And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

[Rev 14:3] And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

[Rev 15:3] And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

And this "song of Moses" being sung, is a reference to psalms 90-100.

3. At the rapture, people are reborn, or made new.

[Pss 100:3] Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

[1 Corinthians 15:51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

4. The gates entered are a symbol of the Feast of Trumpets, like the "open door" symbol of the rapture.

[Pss 100:4] Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

There is much, much more scriptural imagery that would be fulfilled by a Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets. Not all of the imagery in the New Testament that refers to this Jewish feast is not described in full detail in the Old Testament of the Bible, it is difficult to know and understand the imagery and symbols surrounding the Feast without resorting to descriptions of Jewish Tradiations. There is much more in the oral traditions, and in the Talmud. I have tried to keep the focus on what scriptures in the Old Testament actually say. There is plenty of more study one can do on this topic.
From scripture we know that the Rapture is the wedding of the Church, the Bride, to Christ, the bridegroom. Further, it is the feast of trumpets that is described when the rapture is said to happen at the "last trump". You can find scriptures about the last trump being at the rapture, but there are no scriptures that say the "last trump" occurs during the "Feast of Trumpets".

Disconnect From the World

As I was out for my daily run today, the Lord gave me some instruction. I ran by a girl who probably walked half a mile without ever looking up from her ipod/blackberry/you name it device. This called to mind many of the people I see today who are never present to us in the body because they are always wanting to be connected "virtually" so they can be somewhere else. Have you seen these people?

I was around this one guy recently in a social setting and he could not talk to you for 3 minutes without picking up his iphone or whatever it was to check to see if "anything new" was there for him. These people have become "connected" to the world in a way that has almost because like a crack cocaine addiction.

If you have been reading here recently, you know that the Lord has specifically directed me to disconnect with the world. What does that mean? 100% boycott of all "news" whether it be lame stream media or "alternative" media. All of it: boycotted. No iphone, no blackberry except to check it once in a long while for mandatory work related issues, that are by the way, not every 3 min.

What's the effect of disconnecting from the world? Quieting the mind and spirit. The Lord speaks to us in a still quiet voice, how are you going to hear Him when your mind is full to overflowing with the absolutely useless worldly sewage that all forms of "news" and current events provide you?

What about being a "watchman?" Glad you asked. Many people today consider themselves "watchmen" for the Lord, but they have it all wrong. We are told to "watch" and be "ready," I think we can all agree on that, but watch what? Did the Lord ever instruct us to "watch" the flesh, the world and satan? I don't think so. The bible tells us that we are not unaware of his (satan's) devices, but it never tells us to fix our gaze on him perpetually does it? No, it doesn't. So again, watch what?

Proverbs 8:34 Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.

1 Peter 3:1 that even if some of them disbelieve the Message, they may, apart from the Message,be won over by the daily life of their wives, after watching your daily life ...

Watching at HIS doorway, watching OUR DAILY LIFE. Doesn't sound like eyes stuck on the flesh, the world or satan to me...

And what about this "disconnect from the world" business?

Romans 12:5 so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each ... ... In the same way, even though we are many people, we are one body in the
Messiah and individual parts connected to each other.

Ephesians 4:16 from whom the whole body, fitted together, and connected by every joint of supply,according to the working in its measure of each one part, works for itself ...

Hebrews 6:9 But we are persuaded concerning you, beloved, better things, and
connected with salvation, even if we speak thus.

We are in the world but not of it. We are in the world but "connected" to Christ, who is our salvation. What happens when we are connected 24/7 to the world?

Colossians 2:19 He has lost connection with the Head, from whom ... ... and they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body.

For a full discussion and understanding of who and what we should be connected to as believers, go re-read John 15 in its entirety. It's about the vine (Jesus) and the branches (us).

Remember Lot's wife. Remember the warnings we are given in Luke 17 and Matt 24 to not go back down into your house to get anything or come back from the fields to get anything on "that day." On the day the Lord comes for us, if we look back, because there is something within us that just "has to connect" with the crack cocaine intravenous mainline that so many people get from the world today, well, I think that's going to end tragically.

We are in the world but not of it. We are watching, at the Lord's doorstep, not the world. Anything that we need to know, the Spirit will provide. Take that attitude of faith when it comes to needing to know what "news" is afoot today. I am absolutely 100% confident that on the day I stand before the Lord, one of the things I will not be chastised for is "disengaging from the world." Do we still love people? Yep. Do we give? Yep. Do we work? Yep. Are we PRESENT to the people around us instead of being somewhere else via social media/the internet. YEP. Do we listen? Yep, one of the deepest human needs is to be heard and deeply undestood, and only a fully "present" person can do that, a true rarity in today's world.

I think you get the point. I begged the Lord to remind me of all these things when I sat down to write since He seems to like to speak to me when I'm out running. I guess that's one of His and my favorite times to talk :-)

Encouragement to Pray

Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. ... Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. ...

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition,with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

I want to encourage you today, to pray and not give up. Our God is a God who ANSWERS PRAYER. If there is a theme to my life, any common thread at all, it would be that this God that we find in the bible has stood by me and has heard and answered my prayers over and over and over again.

This writer must remind you, that I am nothing. The focus here is a faithful God who does what He said He would do. We have been given many promises and our God intends to fulfill everyone of them.

PRAY without ceasing, and offer your prayers with faith.

It is this writer's experience these days that the Lord is doing a work of encouragement. That encouragement has filled me up and is overflowing now to you. What more can be said about this? Ask, seek, knock. Do not give up. Persevere, remember the story of the unjust judge. Be obedient.

I routinely ask the Lord about the future, as I have recently about the feast of Trumpets coming up this month. What am I hearing about it? Nothing. What I am hearing from the Lord is to persevere in the basics of the faith, the fundamentals. Pray in faith, believe that you have received what you ask for. Simple and straight from the Word.

Why have I not heard anything about the future? I believe its because if we take care of the fundamentals today, the future will take care of itself tomorrow.

8/30/2010-What is the Spirit Saying to the Churches?

At the leading of the Lord, I have not even glanced at what calls itself "news" in this world, for about a week now. That includes all the doom and gloom "alternative media" as well. As a result, I am beginning to understand why the Lord has me on this "news" diet.

The Lord speaks to us in a still, quiet voice. The restriction the Lord has placed on my mental inputs has significantly quieted my mind. Can you see the benefit in that? I have faith, I trust that the Lord will bring to my mind anything and everything of importance that I need to know. Notice the attitude of faith that is required to hold this perspective. Not that I am anything, I am less than nothing. The point is, the Lord rewards faith.

With this quieted spirit, what is this writer hearing the Lord say today? Am I hearing about the end of the world? No. The rapture/escape from all? No. So what then is the Lord saying? We've already discussed one thing. The Lord told me to get rid of wordly inputs. Garbage in, garbage out right? No worldly news. That includes 99.999% of all blogs and "alternative media" as well. The vast vast majority of all of it is utter rubbish.

The second thing the Lord has been speaking to me about is our attitude when we approach Him. As we read our bibles, we see an overwhelming theme of thanks and rejoicing in the first words of any greeting to the churches, and any prayers to the Lord. Everything in the kingdom is to be opened and approached with thanks and rejoicing.

If you are wondering why you are not hearing from the Lord, check your inner dialogue for answers to your problems. Do you find yourself grumbling and complaining alot? That could be a major problem. Read this as a case in point:

Psalm 106
1Praise the Lord.a Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. 2Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord or fully declare his praise?

Notice with me, the first words. Praise the Lord right? Praise...What's next? Give thanks. Praise the Lord? Then give thanks? Yep, you are reading it right. What's next? A question. Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord or fully declare his praise? In order to proclaim his mighty acts or declare his praise, we must remember what he has done.

6We have sinned, even as our fathers did;

we have done wrong and acted wickedly.

7When our fathers were in Egypt,

they gave no thought to your miracles;

they did not remember your many kindnesses,

and they rebelled by the sea, the Red Sea.


They did not remember......^^^


13But they soon forgot what he had done
and did not wait for his counsel.

14In the desert they gave in to their craving;

in the wasteland they put God to the test.

15So he gave them what they asked for,

but sent a wasting disease upon them.

They soon forgot what he had done, saying the same thing in a different way, they did not remember..

24Then they despised the pleasant land;

they did not believe his promise.

25They grumbled in their tents

and did not obey the Lord.

26So he swore to them with uplifted hand

that he would make them fall in the desert,

27make their descendants fall among the nations

and scatter them throughout the lands.


Same theme here, we read "they grumbled in their tents." When you are grumbling, you certainly are not praising the Lord and giving him thanks. You certainly are not remembering all of the wonderful things he has done for us.

If you are wondering what the Spirit is saying to the churches today, this is it. This is the same thing that has been written about here for more than a year now. We are being called back to the fundamentals of the faith. There was a time when the Lord had this writer warning the church, and the world. The warnings came during better days for this world. Now that the warnings have begun to come to fruition, the world is up to its eyeballs in problems and writers are coming out of the woodwork to "pile on" to the subject. As if a prophet were needed today to understand that this world is in trouble and headed for more. At this point even the pagans understand that.

The Lord has moved on, and as usual the world and the vast majority of the "religious people" in this world are years behind him. The world and its people are talking about the problems today, the Lord has moved on, at least with this writer, from talking about the coming problems to talking about the solutions.

Any solution for the believer starts with communion with the Lord. We are talking about basics here guys, fundamentals. In order to commune with the Lord, you must know how to approach him. If you are a grumbling complainer, then you need a change of attitude ASAP. If you are expecting anything of the Lord, you need to put your thanks and praise hat on.

Has the Lord ever done anything for you that you are thankful for? Good, then you have something to thank him for. Did you eat today? Great, another thing to give thanks for. Do you have a roof over your head today? Another thing to praise him for. The list can get long quick, we just need to check our attitudes and make sure our attitude is full of gratitude.

If you want answers, start by approaching the Lord with thanks and praise. I cited ONE Psalm here, go through all of them on your own and see for yourself if the words written here are true. Notice the pattern that the Spirit gives us throughout the bible. Thanks and praise and remembering what the Lord has done for us, our families, all the brothers and the entire world are a fundamental starting point.

We were created for his glory. Our lips should be overflowing with his praises morning noon and night.

This is what I hear the Spirit speaking to the churches today.

A Picture of the Day of the Rapture/Escape From All

There is an event coming that the Lord calls the "escape from all" which you can read about in Luke 21:36. He also calls it the "harpazo" or snatching away. People also call it "the rapture." Call it whatever you want to, the fact is, its coming...

As I was asking the Lord to give me something else to give to you (and me) today, he gave me another place in his Word where the rapture/escape from all has been prophesied. Read this:

Isaiah 30: 27 See, the Name of the Lord comes from afar,

with burning anger and dense clouds of smoke;

his lips are full of wrath,

and his tongue is a consuming fire.

28His breath is like a rushing torrent,

rising up to the neck.

He shakes the nations in the sieve of destruction;

he places in the jaws of the peoples

a bit that leads them astray.

29And you will sing

as on the night you celebrate a holy festival;

your hearts will rejoice

as when people go up with flutes

to the mountain of the Lord,

to the Rock of Israel.

30The Lord will cause men to hear his majestic voice

and will make them see his arm coming down

with raging anger and consuming fire,

with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.

31The voice of the Lord will shatter Assyria;

with his scepter he will strike them down.

32Every stroke the Lord lays on them

with his punishing rod

will be to the music of tambourines and harps,

as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.

33Topheth has long been prepared;

it has been made ready for the king.

Its fire pit has been made deep and wide,

with an abundance of fire and wood;

the breath of the Lord,

like a stream of burning sulfur,

sets it ablaze.

If you ever wanted a picture of what it will be like on the day the "escape from all" (luke 21:36) happens, this is it. It is a stunning portrait of a day that is coming soon to this world. Read that passage of scripture very carefully and you'll see treasure hidden in plain sight.

The bible is used to interpret the bible, we know that right? So what do we see in Isaiah 30 that we can point to and nod our head "yep" at? How about this?

29And you will sing

as on the night you celebrate a holy festival

^^Think Feast of Trumpets here. There is a night coming, when 2 things are happening simultaneously. First, the Lord comes from afar with burning anger and clouds of dense smoke, with his lips full of wrath..He will be shaking the nations in a "sieve of destruction" and while He is doing that, we will sing "as on the night you celebrate a holy festival."

We know from previous study that all the early year feasts of the Lord have been fulfilled to the very day, only the fall feasts remain. What's the next feast to be fulfilled, literally to the day? The Feast of Trumpets/Rosh Hashanah.

As if that weren't enough, what else does Isaiah 30 point directly to, and marry with perfectly? Luke 17 and Matt 24. The bible interpreting the bible, perfect down to the letter:

Luke 17:26“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

30“It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed


Matt 24:36 No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,f but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

We are told in no uncertain terms in both Luke 17 and Matt 24 that the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah and Lot. What happened in the days of Noah and Lot? On the same day Noah entered the ark, the rain fell. On the same day that Lot left Sodom, fire and brimstone fell and destroyed them all.

What does Isaiah 30 tell us?

29And you will sing as on the night you celebrate a holy festival; your hearts will rejoice as when people go up with flutes to the mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel.

and

32Every stroke the Lord lays on them with his punishing rod will be to the music of tambourines and harps, as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.

Go back and re-read Isaiah 30, do you see how in the midst of the radical destruction the Lord lays on the nations, WE ARE SINGING? Do you see how utterly ABSURD the people are who tell us that we will be stuck in the middle of the time of Jacob's trouble dodging plagues and the wrath of God as though we were one of the unbelievers?

Again and again, the Lord shows us the same picture. The world is getting hammered, and we are SINGING. The destruction the Lord lays on the nations will to the sound of tambourines and harps.

Now bear with me here as I reason this out. If we are standing on earth amongst the backslidden, the apostate, the pagans, the satanists and everyone else who has this wrath coming, would we really be singing and rejoicing as though we were enjoying one of the Lord's festivals? This event that's about to happen will be so dire, so grave that it will make men's hearts fail them for fear. On this earth, there will be no singing and harp playing on the day the Lord's smoking fiery vengeance is carried out.

Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Noah was in the ark when the water judgement began to fall. Lot was outside Sodom on the day the Lord's fire judgement began to fall. This future event that will see the Lord's wrath unleashed once again will be EXACTLY the same as the days of Noah and Lot. True believers on that day will be someplace physically removed, and they will be SINGING, and REJOICING at every swing of the Lord's arm against the wicked nations of this earth. That's a fact.

We live in a day of scoffers, just as the bible predicted.

2 Peter 3:3 First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will
come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

Many of these scoffers call themselves Christians. They scoff at the Word of the Lord that tells us in plain language that there WILL BE an escape from all that we should pray for (luke21:36). They scoff at the idea that in the day the Lord comes back for us, some believers will be physically removed just like Noah and Lot were.

As you believe, so you receive. If these so called christians can talk you out of believing what the Word of the Lord clearly says, then they can talk you out of the fulfillment of the promises. The promises of the Lord are inherited by those who patiently wait for them and have the FAITH in the promises to receive them.

Hebrews 6:12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through
faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

If the Lord tells us that there will be an "escape from all" and you have no faith for that promise, and you do not pray for escape as we are clearly told to do, and to make matters worse, you actively teach others not to pray for escape, or to believe for escape, then what will be your end? What will you receive from the Lord's hand for teaching doctrines that are in direct opposition to His own Word?

The answers to these questions are coming in time.

Remember to pray. Stop watching and reading this world's "news." That includes all the "alternative media" too. It's all, 100% trash. Get your news from the Lord. Quiet your mind and spirit so you can hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches today.

To declare that the LORD is upright

Psalm 92:12The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree,
He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13Planted in the house of the LORD,
They will flourish in the courts of our God.

14They will still yield fruit in old age;
They shall be full of sap and very green,

15To declare that the LORD is upright;
He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

A recurring theme in my life song has been thanks to the Lord for answered prayer. My message to you as brothers/sisters is that we serve a God who answers prayer. As we read in the Psalm above, I desire "to declare that the Lord is upright."

Day after day all creation declares our God's faithfulness. What I am seeing in my life, in a time when the world is falling apart, is that our Lord is good, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

These things are written to you today to encourage you. Seek the Lord in prayer today, while He may still be found. I, your brother, am one of few voices crying out in the wilderness, "SEEK THE LORD, HE IS FAITHFUL, HE CAN BE TRUSTED."

Spend less time taking counsel from this world (stay away from the TV and internet). Spend more time in prayer and in the Word. I guarantee you that as you get over your crack-cocaine like addiction to the steady stream of sewage (news) from this world, you will feel better. You will have more time. You will be of better service to everyone you meet.

What does mankind need more of now, prophets of doom who restate the obvious daily (this world is going down the tubes-do we need a prophet to see it?), or people who walk full of the Spirit of God, in the power of God? In a world full of darkness, what is needed is light. Light will not be found on the TV or the internet.

Stay in the Word of the Lord. My testimony to you is this: He can be trusted to the uttermost.

It has been written here recently that this writer has asked for, and is believing for 2 miracles. As this is written to you, green shoots of miracle 1 are already sprouting above the ground. How many more ways can it be restated? Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ, trust Him....

Where is Your Focus?

4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. 8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

If you have been stopping by this blog for any length of time, you will know that the Lord has repeatedly prodded me to reduce my intake of today's "news." He meant both lamestream media AND alternative news sites. Every so often I get a periodic reminder from Him on this subject and recently I received another reminder.

Why would the Lord impress me with the idea to stop reading all the "conspiracy theory" and "alternative news" sites? It's not because there are no conspiracies, because almost everything in today's world has been corrupted and is a conspiracy against the masses of humanity. The very beginning of the war we find ourselves in involved a conspiracy dealing with Satan wanting to usurp our Lord's power and throne. So again, if the conspiracies are real, why not read about them?

Lot's of reasons...How much time did Jesus spend unmasking all of the satanic conspiracies in his day? NONE, that's right ZERO. How much time did Paul or any of the other apostles spend talking about all the roman gods and how corrupt roman politics were back in his day? Again, almost zilch. If Jesus and the apostles spent virtually zero time watching the world and the satanic conspiracies of their day, then why should we? Are we to walk like Christ did or not?

Our mind is an interesting thing, the conscious mind can only hold one thought at a time, soooo if I spend all my time reading and talking about the flesh, the devil and the world, guess what I'm NOT spending my time reading and talking about? Things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy....

8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

If we are not thinking about these things ^^^ and instead we willfully choose to focus on the darkness in this world, don't you think we have some changing to do to be in compliance with what our Lord has instructed us to do?

How concerned do you think the Lord is about Satan's plans for this world? We should be asking people why they don't spend more time reporting on our Lord's plans for today and the future? Which is more important, Satan's plans or our God's plans? Where should our focus be?

Our power comes from prayer and staying focused on all the Words our God has spoken, why should we allow other useless distractions to consume our time? A long time ago I realized that when the normal news was playing, all we were hearing was lies and useless drivel, so I started spending more time reading alternative news media. The alternative news media appears to have more truth reported in it, but the point I believe the Lord has made to me is, which is more important, the truth about how evil and satanic this world is or the truth of our Lord's promises to us? Which gives us more power?

The bottom line here is this, spending my time or your time reading about the latest lies, or even truths about how wicked this world is, is just beating a dead horse. Has the Lord not already told us that Satan is the prince of this world?

I am believing the Lord for 2 miracles right now, can you tell me whether reading one more article about how BP and the Government are complicit in a giant crime against humanity is going to help me believe for my miracles? Can you tell me how reading one more article about the fact that "space aliens" are really demons and hollywood is controlled by illuminati satanists is going to help me encourage another brother who is about to give up on his faith in Jesus? How is it going to improve my walk with Jesus to know one more thing about how the ancient greek gods were actually all a hierarchy of demons planning their return to earth during the tribulation? It all might be fact, but how does any of it encourage me or any of the brothers I communicate with?

There was a time here when alot of what was written was exposing the apostasy within todays so called christianity. That writing has mostly stopped, why? Everything that needed to be written has already been written? Seems reasonable enough to me. If Jesus and the apostles spent time on a subject, we should too. If they brushed over or did not address a subject at all, perhaps we should take the same attitude.

Reading todays blogs and "news" is largely a waste of time. I believe the Lord has impressed upon me that its okay to spend small amounts of time each day "checking in" on what's going on in the world, but the bulk of our thinking should be toward our Lord and his kingdom. Show me an argument against that?

Matt 6:33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

These things are written to you today because they have been impressed upon me. Everything you have read here, I believe, is a message for me as much or more than it is for anyone else reading it.


May the Lord bless you and keep you, may his face shine upon you and may he grant you peace.

A God of Infinite Possibilities

I just wanted to write you a quick note today about what the Lord has impressed upon me this morning.

1. How utterly worthless and empty 99.99% of all the "news" and blogs are in this world.

2. We need to get our "news" from the Lord

Why get our information inputs from the Lord? Because He is a God of infinite possibilities. While the lamestream media is focused on which "star" had what for breakfast this morning, and the alternative media is busy pumping you full of fear and what Satan planned for the world, our God is telling us things that He has told us from the very beginning.

What is impossible for our God? Do we believe that He can and will do what He said He would do?

Even at this late hour in world history, I am hearing from the Lord that He is willing and able to do abundantly exceedingly over and above anything we can ask or imagine for us who believe. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE for those who believe. That is a "thus sayeth the Lord" statement, not because it is written here, but because it is written in His Word.

I am not finished yet. I am not ready to sit back idly and watch the world go to hell waiting for the Lord's return. Something inside of me is leaping as I write this. I am believing the Lord for at least 2 miracles right now. I am believing Him for mighty moves of His strong arm on my behalf. He has done it before, He will do it again. The things I am believing for are already done, I know this. Inside it has already been settled. Yet, my eyes see nothing yet. Inside I just know that what I have asked for has already been granted.

Why is this being written to you today? It's not about me, it's about a faithful God. This is a message to you, that the battle is not over yet. We may have years to go before the Lord comes back, or maybe He will come back for us this year during the Feast of Trumpets, or maybe He comes back tonight, who knows? The point is, we need to be ready, but while we wait patiently, why do we not tax the Lord with our prayers and desires? Try to load Him down, good luck with that :-) Pray with all kinds of prayers and requests. Plant your prayer seeds and water with thanks, over and over and over again, who knows what the Lord will grant you if you would only ask and keep asking...

Remember the story of the unjust judge, be persistent. Reason with the Lord. Our God rewards faith, that's a fact that is well established both in the Word and in my life, its a fact. We need to be patient to wait for the answers. The things we don't have yet, we don't need yet or we are not ready for yet.

More Proof of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

So many "christians" today rage against the idea of a pre-trib, pre-time of JACOB's trouble (not the church's trouble) rapture/escape from all/harpazo/call it whatever you want...

Yet the absolute proof of our God's intention is throughout all the pages of the bible. Here's just one of many examples of the Lord leaving his thinking written for us to find in the bible:

Psalm 32:6Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.

7You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble;You surround me with songs of deliverance.

Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him? Luke 17:26 Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

Flood of great waters? As it was in the days of Noah? Flood will not reach him? Are you picking up on this?

You would have to be blind or willfully ignorant to not see how rich just these two sentences are in one Psalm in the bible. In a "flood" of great waters? They will not reach him? Hiding place? You preserve me from trouble? You surround me with songs of deliverance? Gosh, that sounds really "escapist" , doesn't it?

Where are all the debaters within "christianity" to debate with God's Word here? What happened to "manning up" and "taking the tribulation in the face" so we can "be a witness?" Whats with all this "hiding" and "preserving from trouble" business we read in the bible?

Well, what we've been looking at sounds alot like this:

Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Wow, how 'escapist' that sounds doesn't it. While the scofferes within churchianity scoff at our Lord's promise, we take our Lord at His Word.

Over and over and over again, we read about "hiding" and "refuge" and "escape" and being "preserved from trouble" in the bible. Read through the book of Psalms for yourself, see it for yourself.

There is an escape from all coming, our Lord GUARANTEES IT. What kind of escape? Perhaps we should ask Noah and Lot because in Luke 17 and Matt 24 we are told that the coming of the Son of man will be JUST LIKE the days of Noah and Lot. Were Noah and Lot "hidden" away, when there was a "flood of great waters" (psalm 32) did they reach Noah? Were Noah and lot preserved from trouble? Were Noah and Lot able to sing songs of deliverance after the flood and destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah?

Did Noah and Lot receive real physical deliverances or was the Word of the Lord to them just some kind of pie in the sky, take the flood and fire on the chin kind of "you'll be comforted" while you suffer with the unbelievers kind of thing?

The Word of God interprets the Word of God. Read it for yourself. Deliverance from trouble, a place of hiding and ESCAPE are very real themes woven throughout the entire bible for the righteous. The people who tell you "there will be no escape" or there will be a partial escape have a real problem with the entirety of the Word of God.

Read the history of Israel. Over and over again, most were destroyed but a remnant were SPARED...physically. The Word and the deliverance of the Lord are real. They were real for Noah and Lot, and they will be real for some people in the future as well.

Do not allow the faithlessness and wickedness to steal your escape from you. Just because the many will not make it, doesn't mean you have to be left behind with them. The faithless, cowardly and wicked who already have an inward witness that they won't make it out, want you to stay behind with them.

What is the Spirit saying to the churches today? What is the Spirit saying to you today? Stop following men. Mankind cannot save you, only Jesus can. Mankind never promised you an escape from all, JESUS DID. Who are men to tell you "no" when God has told you "yea verily." If the Lord has spoken it, and it has been written, then it is FACT, not open to debate.

Settle these things within yourself. As you believe, so shall you receive.

Matthew 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! It will be done just as you believed it would."

Don't let the unbelieving foolish virgins talk you out of your escape. The Lord is speaking, we should be listening. I do not claim to speak for Him. His Word speaks for itself.

A Word of Encouragement

The Lord is good. He is so very VERY very good. That is my testimony. I have relied on the God that you can read about in the bible for over 40 years now, and he has never failed me once, not ever.

I defy anyone to tell me that our God is not real. I defy anyone to tell me that our God does not provide. I defy anyone who says our God does not keep his promises. I defy anyone who says our God is silent.

Our God, the Lord Creator of all things is speaking constantly. He is oh so living and active. Do you want something to be thankful for today? Be thankful that the restrainer is still restraining today. In the book of Thesselonians we are told that a restrainer is restraining until he is taken out of the way. No matter how bad you think things are in the world today, you can be thankful that things are not bad yet. Bad is coming, but you not I have seen it yet. The restainer has kept and will continue to keep "bad" at arms length until he is taken out of the way. Be thankful for a day of restraint.

We can also be thankful that we live in the days of the son of man, days of GRACE. The Lord's hands are still outstretched in merciful outreach to everyone and anyone who will listen, repent and turn to him. There are days coming when this will not be the case:

Prov 1:22“How long will you simple ones love your simple ways?

How long will mockers delight in mockery

and fools hate knowledge?

23If you had responded to my rebuke,

I would have poured out my heart to you

and made my thoughts known to you.

24But since you rejected me when I called

and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand,

25since you ignored all my advice

and would not accept my rebuke,

26I in turn will laugh at your disaster;

I will mock when calamity overtakes you—

27when calamity overtakes you like a storm,

when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,

when distress and trouble overwhelm you.


There are days coming when calamity will overtake people like a storm, and disaster will overtake them like a whirlwhid. Why? Because they ignored all the Lord's advice, and would not accept his rebuke. So what will happen? The Lord God Almighty will LAUGH at their disaster...not my words, his words.

Well that's not very nice is it? Not the kind of candy coated God you've heard about all your life from nicolaitan preachers is it?

This is not a message of condemnation. This is a message to tell you that as of right now, there is still time to get right with the God of Gods, the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ.

I could care less what this world says. This entire planet is anti-christ, SO WHAT? They lose in the end. There is a God, if you have an honest heart, if you open that heart and search for him you will find him. You MUST turn away from your pet sins and "your way" of doing things.

I am always amazed at people who will submit to just about any earthly authority but the moment the Creator of Eternity is brought into the conversation they ask "who is he to tell me what to do?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Uh....how about..."he's God" for an answer?

In a Godless anti-christ world there is one crying out in the wilderness. The message is "there is a God and he can be trusted." If you want to find him then go get a bible and start reading it. Men cannot be trusted. Almost everyone and every institution has been compromised. Do not trust me, I'm not asking for your trust. I am asking you to go look in a certain direction and decide for yourself what you find. In the end, there will be you and God Almighty...face to face. My suggestion to you today is to make that meeting today while his grace may be found. If your first meeting with this God is on the day he is judging you, well, I suspect that will not be a good day for you.

This writer is the very least of the brothers who are "in Christ" and I testify before you today that our God, the Lord Jesus is GOOD and he can be trusted. My life is living proof of it.

The Most Encouraging Fact

A guy named Henry David Thoreau wrote this quote:

I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate himself by conscious endeavor

But you know what? I think he was severly mistaken. The most encouraging fact I know of is that we serve a God who answers prayer....

This fact, that our God answers prayer has been rising up within me lately. An obvious reason for this could be that prayers are being answered. Not that this writer is anything. Our God is the focus here. He made promises and He is faithful to keep them...

Matt 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9 “Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? 10 “Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? 11 “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!

Our Lord makes some very bold statements. He says everyone who asks receives...You may say, "but I've asked for plenty of things and have received nothing." To which I would ask, how do you know that you have not received? Perhaps you have received and didn't like the answer....yes, no and wait are all answers.

I want to encourage you to return to prayer today. Ask, seek, knock. I have this welling up inside of me to tell you to pray. Our God absolutely positively hears and answers prayers.

I don't want to get too deep into the discussion of why some prayers do not seem to be answered, but putting things in the extreme should help illustrate. Do you think a person like Adolph Hitler could pray to our God asking for help and get it? If not, why not? Do you think that Paul the apostle could pray to our God and get answers? If so, why? The answers to these questions should shed some light on why some people get results from their prayer life and some do not. Most of us are neither Paul, nor Hitler, we fall somewhere in between. In our case, we should be striving for perfection. Why? Our God looks directly at the hearts of men and we want nothing in our hearts or spirits that could hinder our prayers.

1 Thess 5:17 pray without ceasing,

^^^This is what I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying today. There is no more encouraging fact I can think of right now, than the fact that our God hears and answers prayers. The God who created everything, who is not disturbed in the least by the economic meltdown or joblessness or the new world order, or what signs and signals satan is sending, that God is hearing and answering our prayers today.

When our God opens a door for us, who can shut it?

Rev 3:7 What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.

Job 12:14 Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.

What do you want? What do you need? Have you asked for it in prayer? Do you believe that you will receive it? Other than the illustrations of Hitler and Paul there is this matter of belief. Mark 11:24 tells us that we must believe that we receive what we ask for in prayer.

Ask, and keep asking
Seek and keep seeking
Knock and keep knocking

Because our God is a God who answers prayer. If it seems like I am beating this to death as I write this, I cannot help it. This message is within me like a baby waiting to be birthed and I still feel like I'm in labor with it. The Lord is trying to make a big point with me and with you.

Churchianity preaches a message of "seed time and harvest" and they do it well except for the little (HUGE) problem that they butcher the part of what the seed is. They tell you to write a check and send it in to their 'ministries' as a seed. What I believe the Lord has impressed upon me is that our prayer is a kind of seed. Prayer is the seed and the thanks we give over the answer we have not seen yet is the water. We are to plant then water, plant then water, over and over and over again.

1 Cor 15:37When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.

You do not plant the body that will be..but just a seed. The seed contains the DNA or the map of everything that the seed will grow up to be, but our God gives each seed its body.

After seed has been planted and watered, in season, there is a harvest. Some things take longer to "grow" from prayer seed to harvest than other things. Everything has a season, which is to say, you have to wait for it.

Pray without ceasing. Remember the lesson of the unjust judge:

Luke 18:6And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Ask, seek, knock.

I am standing before you with my own words today, to be a voice and a witness to our God's faithfulness. Our God does what He says He would do. He said that He would answer prayer, but He told us to believe, and keep praying. His words were "pray without ceasing." We are to pray with all kinds of prayers and requests:

Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Some believers who are reading these words right now need a miracle. I am believing the Lord for a miracle. I have been here before and I have seen the Lord deliver for me. He has delivered miracles, and even though my eyes have not yet seen the slightest physical evidence for it, I know for a fact that the answer to my miracle is already enroute. Its done, I just haven't seen it yet. I'm not making up some kind of feeling, its inside. Just like a mother knows she is pregnant with a baby, I know that I am pregnant with a miracle as well. This wont be the first time, and I pray it will not be the last. As a brother I want to encourage you to ask and keep asking for your miracle. Realize that there is nothing our pathetic minds can dream up that our God cannot deliver on in spades. What is it we are asking for that our God cannot deliver on? He parted the Red Sea, he raised the dead to life, he cursed and things died, he blessed and lepers were healed, what is it he cannot do?

Reasoning with the Lord

I want you to remember to reason with the Lord. Read your bibles, people in the past reasoned with our God and got their way...

Isaiah 38:2Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, 3“Remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

4Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah: 5“Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life. 6And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city.

If you are asking and believing the Lord for something and doubt tries to creep in, ask WHY NOT LORD? IF there is nothing in His Word that would be a big "no" and the Spirit has not spoken to your spirit to give you a "no" then you need to KEEP BELIEVING for what you asked for. Istead of asking "why" something should be given to you, ask "why not?" The Lord responds to such things, at least He has with me.

Reason with the Lord, ask seek knock, pray without ceasing, believe that you have received what you have asked for, don't give up, remember the story of the unjust judge.

The most encouraging fact for us who believe is that we have a God who hears and answers prayers. Start praying. If you have already started then keep doing it and do not stop praying until your dieing breath has been taken from you. Even then, our last breath should be a prayer and a blessing on the Lord of our life. I'm done....grace and peace

Days of Grace/Days of Vengeance, The Restrainer, Pre-trib Rapture

The Lord has been giving me some real gems lately, I've been busy but need to find time to put up quick notes here more often.

Yesterday the Lord impressed upon me the reason we have not seen the world fall apart, even though it has appeared like it was imminent is because of the restrainer. Why hasn't the economy collapsed yet? The restrainer

Why didn't the gulf oil spill kill 20 million people? The restrainer

Why with all the lies and thievery and fraud we see in government and corporate america, why hasn't the social fabric torn yet? The restrainer.

When did the flood come in Noah's day? After Noah and his family went into the ark.

When did fire and brimstone rain down on sodom? After Lot and his family left the city.

We still live in days of grace, when our Lord can still be found.

Isaiah 55:6 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

The days of vengeance are coming, but they are not here yet.

Luke 21:22 for these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written.

The restrainer is still restraining.

2 Thess2:6And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way

Something else the Lord gave me about the pre-trib rapture. The pre-trib rapture is the only position on the rapture that conforms to the idea that we need not write to you of times and dates:

1 Thessalonians 5:1 ... Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you

Why do we not need to write about times and dates as believers in a pre-trib rapture? Because we are looking for our Lord to show up every single day, any single day...

All the other "tribbers" have dates and times and days and weeks to count till Jesus shows up. They are in error. The Lord is coming "like a thief" at a time when most people do not expect him. If we could count the days as the mid-trib, pre-wrath, post-trib folks think we need to do from key events in the tribulation till the day that Jesus shows up, then writing about "times and dates" might apply, but the bible tells us that they don't. In short, the mid-trib, pre-wrath, post-trib preachers and teachers are dead wrong, from top to bottom wrong.

The "other tribbers" preach a message of partial or no escape. The bible on the other hand clearly teaches that there is an escape from ALL coming (Luke 21:36). Luke 21:36 does not stand on its own, facts throughout the bible support the idea of "escape from all." Just as it was in the days of Noah and Lot, so shall it be in at the coming of the Son of man. Could he be any clearer? Noah, escaped ALL of the flood. Lot escaped ALL of the fire and brimstone, and some of us will escape ALL of what's about to happen. That's a 100% certified FACT straight from the Word of God.

Many things have been hidden from generations past. Read this:

Daniel 12:4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Many things have been sealed up till the time of the end. During the last days things will be revealed that had not been revealed.

Unfortunately the foolish virgins of Matt 25 continue to run around without the oil they will need at the time the bridegroom shows up, and then it will be too late to go get some. Don't you find it ironic that even today, the wise virgins are attempting to tell the foolish virgins to go get some oil, but instead of heading that advice, the foolish accuse the wise or argue "who are you to tell me anything?"

What is the Lord saying to me today?

Matt 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

And that ^^ fits hand in glove with everything else that has been written here today. TODAY we are looking for our Lord's return...TODAY we ask and receive our daily bread (the Lord's prayer), TODAY is a day of grace, when our Lord may still be found, TODAY is a day when the restrainer is still restraining. Do not worry about tomorrow. Ask, seek, knock (Matt 7:7) TODAY.

Seed, time, harvest

The seed that we sow is prayer. We water that seed daily by giving thanks, and planting more seed (more prayer). Plant, water, plant, water, plant, water, and then guess what happens? You get a harvest, IF you continue to plant your seed (prayer) and water it (with thanks), believing that you have received what you asked for (Mark 11:24).

Rain, Streams, Winds

Matt 7:24“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

You don't have to be a prophet to look around today and see that the rain is coming down...the streams are rising...and the winds are beating against people's "house."

Everywhere a person cares to look, there seems to be more bad news. The Lord offers us some advice for times just like this. We are told to hear the words of the Lord and put them into practice. That's it. You can "go to church" for decades, but are you 1. really hearing the words of the Lord? and 2. IF you are hearing the word of the Lord are you putting it into practice.

The rain is coming down, the streams are rising and the winds are blowing and beating against all of us.

The Lord gave me a mental picture of this recently. In fact, He has given me many things to think about recently. I was peppering him the other day with questions about the future, what's going to happen, what should I be doing, and as I was asking these questions he shot back a one liner that hit me like a shot to the gut. Amidst all my questions about the current situation and the future he asked me "you have my promises, what else do you want?"

That one stopped me cold. Does it really matter that everywhere we look there is bad news? Not when you remember that we have promises...Again, this goes back to the house built on the rock, the rain, streams and wind are beating against all the houses, but some are falling with a great crash, some are rock steady.

Do we have the faith, to believe the Lord will do what he promised to do? Just about everything in your life is going to boil down to that one question soon if it has not already. We have promises.....let that sink in real deep.

Hebrews 11:11 By faith Abraham, even though he was past age--and Sarah herself was barren--was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise."

Abraham, considered by many to be the father of faith, considered him faithful who had made the promise.....And we have no shortage of promises to consider our Lord faithful for. Recently, tied in with the house built on the rock, the Lord brought this one to my attention:

Psalm 23: Even though I walk

through the valley of the shadow of death,a

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

5You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

6Surely goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

forever.

Consider that first highlighted portion of Psalm 23....even though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me....Many people are "walking through the valley of death today," can you see it, feel it, sense it? The rain is coming down, the streams are rising, the wind is beating against our house, but we have promises....do we believe them? Do we consider him faithful who made the promises?

When satan or one of his minions is whispering in your ear one of their faaaavorite questions...."where is your God now....." as your eyes behold the destruction around you, remember, we have promises.

To take advantage of the promises, we must hear the Word of God, that is, it must enter us somehow and we must put those words into practice. The rain, the streams and the wind that are beating on people today could CARE LESS what "church" you belong to, how many social clubs you are popular in, or how "godly" people think you are. The only thing the rain, streams and wind are going to respect is the rock. We must build on the rock that is Christ. We must do what he said to do.

I was greatly encouraged as the Lord has reminded me many times over the past week, that goodness and love have, and will continue to FOLLOW ME all the days of my life, as long as he remains my shepherd. It does not matter what the stock market does, it does not matter if it rains BP death, it does not matter what the illuminati has planned, we have promises....

As the rain comes down and the streams of life rise, it is becoming more obvious by the day, which people really have faith and which do not. We do not have to "prove" our faith to each other, but we better make sure its the real thing for our own sake, and the sake of our families, and because of the fact that we want to prove to the world, that there is power in the way of truth, to the glory of our Lord and Saviour.

The world can see for itself that most of what calls itself "religion" today is a joke. The people don't really believe. When the world does see someone that really does believe, who radiates like a light on a hill, who is full of grace and peace in the midst of the storms we face today, well...they notice.

Luke 8:16 No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.

The hour is probably late on the prophetic clock, how late, only our Lord knows. While we wait for our Lord to come back, I am finding it interesting what his Spirit is saying versus what the world is saying. I do not sense any insistence to become a prophecy scholar overnight so I can pinpoint every detail of the books of Revelation, Daniel etc. During these last days, as it has been written here from time to time over the past year+, I hear the Lord calling us back to the basic, fundamentals of the faith. I believe that's how we "go out" of this world.

I have asked the Lord numerous times to please allow me to "go out" strong. And I believe this is how he has responded. Get back to believing like a little child. Re-establish the fundamentals of what you believe based on the faith given to you. Forget the uselss arguments that religious people are having and will have till the end of time. Once you have determined what you believe, sink roots down DEEP into the ground of your faith and water your belief everyday.

Most people are not going to believe what you believe, especially if you believe the truth. This world KILLS, stones, pushes off cliffs and crucifies the truth bringers, so if you find yourself popular and your message accepted in this world, you have problems....

If your beliefs are wrong, keep a broken and contrite heart before the Lord, and he will "fix you." All things in time.

Become an expert in the promises. Repeat them to yourself and to the Lord. Lord..you promised and I believe you...In my time walking this earth, the Lord has vindicated his word to me, he has been faithful. He can be trusted.

Goodness and love will follow you all the days of your life....thats a promise. Even though you walk through the valley of death, you will fear no evil, his rod and staff will comfort you, thats a promise..If you build your house on the rock by doing what the Lord tells us to do, the rain, streams and wind will not harm your house, thats another promise.

These are some of things I believe the Lord has impressed upon me recently.

The Framework of Faith

Philippians 2:13 ... for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

The Lord has recently revealed to me another change that will be forthcoming for our family. As part of that change he is teaching me about the reltionship of faith to our life, and how important it is.

I had a learning moment about a year ago about the word "desire." If you break that word down into its components you get "de" which means of/from and "sire" which means father/Lord. Interesting yea? De-sire...of/from the father.

That leads us here, testing our de-sires. I am sure that all of our desires are not of/from the father, so we have the word of God and the Spirit to test our de-sire. If we can find no explicit conflict with our de-sire and the word of God, AND we have peace inside (we have our spirit and the Holy Spirit within witnessing to us..what does our peace or lack of it say about the situation?), we can then move out in faith. We can move out in faith that it IS God working in us to will and to act in accordance with his good purpose.

This is powerful stuff. As believers, we (should) live and die by faith. We have broad latitude in our actions, that will be blessed by the Lord IF we move forward in faith.....so many people do nothing out of fear...they say "what if its not the Lords will?" Did you ask him? Did you check his word? What is the Spirit saying inside you via your peace? Once you have checked the Word and the Spirit, then move foward BOLDLY in FAITH.

Your LEGAL CHARTER to do so is the Word of God. If man or God himself ever asks you why you did something, pull out your LEGAL CHARTER to act, which is:

Philippians 2:13 ... for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

and

Mark 11:24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

and

James 1:5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

Remember, Phil 2:13 is not a free ticket to carry out every wicked desire your flesh and the devil can come up with then say "well, it was god's will right?" Wrong, you have the WORD of GOD and the Spirit of God to test your thoughts and actions...

The "framework of faith" is the freedom and encouragement the Lord gives us to ACT BOLDLY. Do you have a de-sire? Test it. If you cannot find a conflict with the Word or Spirit of God, then move forward BOLDLY in faith, nothing wavering and trust that the Lord will come through for you.

Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

I believe with all my heart that the Lord is much more concerned about seeing so little real faith in this world than he is concerned about you starting off down the wrong path. The Lord knows how to "jerk my chain" when I'm headed in the wrong direction to get me headed in the right direction so I'm sure he knows how to jerk your chain as well.

My family and I are believing the Lord for something big again. What we are believing for is irrelevant. The key is, the de-sire is there, the de-sire has been tested, and now moving forward boldly in faith is taking place. The Lord is going to have to take care of ALL the major/critical/important details for us. He has done it before, he will do it again. We have already projected ourselves to the future, we see the prayers answered, we are thanking the Lord today for what he has already done and our eyes have seen NOTHING yet. Inside, I promise you I am pregnant with this thing. I am as sure right now as if everything had already been completed and seen with human eyes that our prayers have been answered and we are just now waiting to witness fulfillment.

Please understand that none of this ^^ is written to you to tell you anything about me or my family. The things written here are for YOU and your family. What de-sire do you have today? Have you tested it against the Word and Spirit of God? If so, and no conflict has been found, what are you waiting for? That's why this was written to you today.

One last point:

The Lord has been stressing to me just how "legal" everything works in the spiritual world. There is a legal basis for everything that happens or is allowed to happen. This is part of why its so important to pray and to ask the Lord for EVERYTHING. Asking, in prayer, gives the Lord legal right to work in your life, just like the devil gets legal access to your life through your acts of disobedience and faithlessness.

Proof of this legal framework is the fact that we have not all be consumed yet by the devil and his minions. He hates us, all of humanity with a loathing that is not describable in words. The fact that he harbors this kind of overwhelming hatred and malice for us AND has not destroyed us all in the most cruel way possible is EVIDENCE of legal restraint. For now, he has a "restraining order" that is legally binding. This restraint is enforced by "the restrainer"

2 Thessalonians 2:7 ... ... For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now restraineth will restrain, until he be taken out of the way.

It was important I mention this, its been on my mind for some time now..

The Signs of the Lord's Coming

With all the things going on in the world, it has become quite popular to predict "the end is near," and maybe it is. What I believe the Lord impressed me with today though cuts completely against the grain of today's "christian" thinking.


Luke 17:22And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. 23And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. 24For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. 25But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. 26And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32Remember Lot's wife. 33Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

First of all, this is not talking about the Lord's "second coming." If the Lord was coming back to earth to rule and reign, why would the people be warned concerning their need to LEAVE? Where would they be going? Nowhere, not during the second coming:

31In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32Remember Lot's wife.

^^^These people are being warned not to go get stuff out of their house, but why? They are going somewhere...These aren't the wicked going to judgement either, why would the Lord warn the wicked getting stuff from their house if he had already decided to come take them to judgement?

The event you are reading about in Luke 17 above, has the following prophetic warning signs:

eating
drinking
marrying
planting
building....

But you might say "hey those are not warning signs at all! That's stuff we do everyday!" Yep..
And those things are your warning sign...no warning at all really. The wicked will know in one day that they are done, the day the righteous leave, on that day, the flood comes.

Noah went into the ark, that day the flood came...
Lot left Sodom, that day fire and brimstone fell...

Nowhere, and I mean NOWHERE in the bible can you find "the wicked taken away and that day the flood/judgement falls on the righteous." Which is exactly what many people will tell you is going on in Luke 17 with "those taken."

Who is warned not to go into the house to get anything on that day? WE ARE. Gosh, sound familiar? On that day, don't go down to the house to get anything?, where have we heard that before? Oh yea! How about here:

Matt 25 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Did you see it? The warning in Luke 17 tells us don't even go down into your house to get anything? Matt 25 tells us that the foolish virgins "went to buy" and while they were away looking for something they should have already had, the Lord took away the righteous and the door was shut..

On that day, we either are ready or we are not. Our hearts should not turn back to this world for anything, no need to go into the house or return from the field, or go "buy oil," none of that. Our hearts are already stayed on the one thing we need today, and the one thing we will need on that day, our treasure on earth and in heaven: Jesus Christ, the Son of God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Everying else is absolute rubbish..utterly useless. What is there to turn back for when we have HIM?

The Lord greatly encouraged my heart today with this re-reading of Luke 17. He tells us in plain language that even a child could understand (and thats the key) that there is no sign preceeding his coming, but there will be a very shortlived sign for the wicked that their doom is on the way, and that sign is the departure of the righteous. Read it again for yourselves, thats exactly what it says.

Today there's a growing fad in so called christianity to try to debunk the Lord's own words on this matter? "There is no escape" they tell us, certainly no escape from ALL they tell us. Really? REALLY? They argue against a stone wall. They argue to their own demise. What happens on the day that their own arguments come back to haunt them? What happens on the day that the escape from ALL happens, EXACTLY as the Lord said it would, and they are not taken in the escape because 1. they did not pray for it as they were told to do, 2. they had no faith for it, their faith puts them in the tribulation/time of Jacob's trouble 3. they taught others to become faithless towards the Lord's own promises....

The bible is used to interpret the bible right? And yet people will argue with you until the veins pop on the side of their head that there will be no escape?

If the bible interprets the bible then tell me: how much "tribulation/flood" did Noah have to endure? Did he sit outside the ark and tread water for "half" or all of the flood? No? Then why should we expect to? "but brother D, who will witness to the lost if we all escape?" Gosh, I don't know? Who witnessed to all the lost when Noah was in the Ark? Or were the lost already given enought time before the flood and there was not witnessing necessary for them? Noah witnessed to zero lost people from inside the ark. Re-read Luke 17...it will be JUST LIKE that, Noah and Lot when the Lord comes back for us...use the bible to interpret the bible.

Again, Noah didn't stick around to "witness" when he went into the ark, Lot didn't put up an asbestos shelter so he could "witness" to the lost while the fire and brimstone was coming down, so should we expect to be here to "witness?" Just like the days of Noah and Lot, let it sink in real good....

If we are not here, who will witness? Hmmmm, how about the two witnesses? These two witnesses will have a worldwide audience:


Rev 11:10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

How about the angel flying through the heavens proclaiming the gospel, is he not witnessing to the lost?

Rev 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth--to every nation, tribe, language and people.

There will be no shortage of "witnessing" during the tribulation, its just that those of us who are "in Christ" before the time of Jacob's trouble are NOT the ones doing it....

What about the 5 foolish virgins who are left behind, what happens with them. Don't you think that a few of them may repent and witness to the world? The list goes on......

There is an event coming that involves 1. the righteous leaving just like Noah went into the ark and Lot left Sodom, and then judgement falls. The only "prophetic warning" is eating and drinking, planting and building, marrying and giving in marriage....kind of no warning at all right?

For this reason, those of us who take the Lord at his word and expect him to show up each and every day till the end of time, we strive and encourage readiness TODAY, not at mid-trib, not at 3/4 trib, not after the tribulation..TODAY. What argument can people find against that? We live for Jesus today and we are prepared to live for him each and every day till the day he shows up, regardless of what happens in those days.

"but what if the tribulation starts and everyone is still here, won't people "lose their faith?" Oh, you mean watching prophetic fulfillment fall into place like dominoes? You mean, I'll "lose my faith" by watching the bible fulfill itself word for word every day? I'll "lose my faith" watching the anti-christ stand in the temple and proclaim himself to be god" exactly as the bible said he would? What a ridiculous argument...

In fact every argument that sets itself up against the plain, simple reading of scripture is destined for failure. We learn what the scriptures mean by the Spirit of God. No Spirit, no learning, simple. Oh sure, you can learn the way the world learns, through "christian scholars" and such, but what did Jesus say about those men?


1 Corinthians 3:18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. ...

1 Corinthians 1:20 where is the wise? where the scribe? where a disputer of this age? did not God make foolish the wisdom of this world?

Indeed...the Lord HAS made them foolish. The "wise disputers" of this world are coming to nothing. For this reason, you must seek the Lord for yourselves. You must get your own revelation from the Lord of what his truth is, or is not. You must get your own revelation of the truth, no other man can give it to you.

Can you fill your belly with potato by watching me eat one? So too, you cannot fill yourself with revelation except by the Spirit of God working in you as an individual, which you must seek on your own.


Prov 2:1My son, if you accept my words

and store up my commands within you,

2turning your ear to wisdom

and applying your heart to understanding,

3and if you call out for insight

and cry aloud for understanding,

4and if you look for it as for silver

and search for it as for hidden treasure,

5then you will understand the fear of the Lord

and find the knowledge of God.

6For the Lord gives wisdom,

and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

We may have awhile to wait until the Lord comes back, until he does, let us encourage one another and let us determine to be patient and full of grace and peace each day while we wait for our master to arrive.

Proverbs 16:7
When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.


It has been written here in recent days that our witness to the world in these last days is our peace. While things go from bad to worse in the world and its people are wringing their hands and hanging their heads in despair, we who believe should be at peace.

Peace is one of the great treasures given to believers on this earth. What price, what dollar value can a person put on a heart that is at ease, resting, at peace? What would people pay for it if they could buy it? There is no dollar value because it is a treasure derived from a kingdom that is not of this world.

We read in Prov 16:7 that when a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him. Another great treasure, enemies living at peace with us, yet how much of this treasure do we see in the world? We see many people at each other's throats, and many people who are not at peace and why is this?

When a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord...then he makes your enemy live at peace with you.

In recent days, I hear the Lord speaking of rest and peace. The world is boiling over, everything is falling apart, and the Lord is folding his hands, speaking peace to his people. What a marked contrast wouldn't you say? Again and again, the world is going in one direction and the Lord is heading in the opposite direction.

We who are sons of God should be seeking the Spirit of God...daily. The sons of God follow the Spirit wherever he goes:

Romans 8:14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

What is the Spirit saying to the churches today?

Should not a people inquire of their God?

Isaiah 8:19 When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God?

1 Peter 3:14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened."

There certainly are frightful things coming upon this world, but they should frighten the unbeliever, not us. We have help that comes from beyond this world, why should we be afraid?

"Peace, peace, peace, be still...." This is what I hear the Spirit of God saying today.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may his face shine upon you and may he grant you abundant peace.

Warn and Encourage

I ask the Lord frequently "what is your Spirit saying to us Lord?" He answers me in bits and pieces over the course of days. Today I believe I was impressed by His voice saying "warn those who can be warned, and encourage those who can be encouraged."

I ask Him frequently about the events in the world that we all see, like the oil spill, events in the middle east etc. I have to tell you that what I perceive from Him is the direct opposite of what we are seeing and hearing and reading from the world. Right now if I had to encapsulate in a few words what this sense is I have from the Lord it is peace and stillness. The following Words are a bullseye of where the Lord has been centered/hovering/pointing for many weeks now, at least as I perceive Him:

11The Lord spoke to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people. He said:

12“Do not call conspiracy

everything that these people call conspiracy;

do not fear what they fear,

and do not dread it.

13The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy,

he is the one you are to fear,

he is the one you are to dread,

14and he will be a sanctuary;

but for both houses of Israel he will be

a stone that causes men to stumble

and a rock that makes them fall.

And for the people of Jerusalem he will be

a trap and a snare.

15Many of them will stumble;

they will fall and be broken,

they will be snared and captured.”

For people who are of this world, who love this world and the things in it, now is a time to fear. All the things men hope to get from this world are fading to a place where they are all out of reach. Instead of searching for something beyond what can be found in this world, these people throw themselves off of buildings and in front of trains.

The world is going into a tailspin, and far from being alarmed or excited I sense absolute stillness and peace from the Spirit of God. The end is not yet. Although I can assure you with 100% certainty that there will be an "escape from all" event (Luke 21:34-36), my belief is that we have to wait a little more for it. Don't misunderstand this, we must be ready for our Lord to show up tonight, but we probably have a little more waiting to do.

Each fall, the fall feasts that are so far unfulfilled wait for their fulfillment. This year, we are looking at:

Feast of Trumpets(Rosh Hashanah)begins September 8, ends Wednesday September 10, Friday.

Each and every year until our Lord shows up, I will be raising a flag during this time. If you are unfamiliar with the significance and relationship of the escape from all (harpazo/rapture) with the Jewish wedding ceremony and the feast of trumpets, I would highly encourage you to get to reasearching it. I will be posting more on that topic as we approach Rosh Hashanah 2010. As in previous years, I am predicting nothing, just that our alertness for our Lord's return should be greatly hightened during the time of the fall feasts.

I believe the Lord gave me a mind picture? years ago, of our face pressed right up against a razor thin piece of glass? seperating us from the time of Jacob's trouble. The significance of the picture is, it will require faith as we approach and step right up to the very minutes and seconds before all hell breaks loose before the great escape takes place (Luke 21:34-36).

People can argue about the timing of the rapture until they are blue in the face. What they cannot argue because they coflict with the Lord's own words is that there WILL BE an escape from all. Use the bible to interpret the bible. Noah and Lot are not condemned by today's "christians" as escapists, yet those who hold to the Lord's own words on this subject are condemned? PRAY that you may be counted worthy to escape ALL of what's about to happen (luke 21:34-36)...the LORD'S WORDS...not mine. Argue with that.

Recently the Lord brought to mind the "escape" of the people in Israel when the anti-christ is standing in the temple proclaiming himself to be god:

Matt 24:15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Rev 12The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

I find it amazing that today's "christian" opposition to the escape has no problem with with any of the other escape stories in the bible, but when it comes to escaping ALL that's about to happen, oh...they have problems. Lot escaped, Noah escaped, the children of Israel escaped Egypt for the promised land, Those in Judaea who flee to the desert will "escape," Elijah "escaped," The 24 elders sitting in heaven in Rev 4-5 with crowns on their heads who are redeemed, rewarded men, they all "escaped" the time of Jacob's trouble. And last but certainly not least, EVERY GENERATION OF MEN before this very last blip on the world's timeline, they ALL ESCAPED the tribultation, ALL OF THEM, by virtue of the fact that they lived before it.

If you listen to the tired arguments of men who rail against the "escape from all," they come up with all kinds of reasons why we in this last generation (likely) "need" to go through part or all of the time of Jacob's trouble. To make these arguments, they have to ignore the whole of human history, biblical history, and the Lord's OWN WORDS which tell us to right now, not tomorrow, PRAY FOR ESCAPE FROM ALL. How much clearer could He be? Yet many spurn such commands as if I or some other man issued the command? No, the Lord commanded, yet they mock the command, and they scorn the messengers who confirm and remind you of this command.

Matt 25 speaks to us of wise and foolish virgins. The foolish were not, and are not ready. When the Lord shows up for his bride, and its at a time that the foolish did not expect, they will be left behind and the door in heaven will be shut. Re-read Matt 25 and Rev 4. When the Lord showed up thousands of years ago in the flesh, the people of Israel did not recognize Him. They were not ready for Him because they knew neither the Son nor the Father. If they did, they would have been ready. So too, today, many are not ready. Many are the foolish virgins who mock and scorn the Lord's own command for us to pray for escape. On the day that these men are knocking and pleading for the Lord to open the door (Matt 25), we will see who the wise and the foolish are.

If the Lord said it, He meant it, period. If He said something will happen, it will happen, period. Many are those today because they are so "learned" and have studied all the so called wise men of this age ("scholars") tell us that the bible can no longer be read and taken at face value. The bible no longer means what it says as a child would understand it because the "wise men" of today's age say that the bible means something different.

Those who do not enter the kingdom of heaven like LITTLE CHILDREN will not enter it at all. Perhaps today's "wise men" masquerading as "pastors" and "scholars" need to unlearn what men have taught them and pay heed to what the Spirit is speaking to the churches today. These men would do well to humble themselves and take the attitude and perspective of little children.

Matthew 18:3 ... And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Today is a day to warn those who can be warned, and encourage those who can be encouraged. My sense of the Lord's direction to us today is to be at peace. Do not fear what they fear. As things go from bad to worse, our witness to this world is our peace in the midst of the storm. People will run from you if you pull a bible out during a conversation but when they are around you and you are at peace while they cannot sleep at night for fear, and they live in a constant state of anxiety, they will see you and what lives in you and wonder..."what is it that they have, or that they know? I think I want some of it..."

Be at peace, stay in the Word, keep the faith. Be patient, we may have quite awhile to wait, or we may be out of here tonight. About times and date I need not write to you :-)
