They are pushing it because we are called to be separate. We are called to be holy, set apart from this world and its wickedness. Proof? Sure:
2 Cor 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
Why have the Jews been persecuted from the very beginning? Because they have always set themselves apart from others. And what was the result? The world hated them for it. So it is today with anyone who opposes mixing light with darkness. If you oppose it, you are a racist, xenophobe, blah, blah, blah, etc.
Or does the Lord tell us this for nothing?
John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues; yea, the time cometh that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
Yes, the calls for diversity and inclusion are everywhere-even in the Church.
This year, 2017 will be 500 years since the reformation. The catholic church will be celebrating with the protestant church the counter-reformation. What is the counter-reformation? Its religious 'diversity and inclusion.' That is, lumping everyone into one big pot and saying "this is good!" The reformation was about separation and the counter-reformation is about reversing it.
We, like the Jews were called to be set apart and the world will hate us for it. The satanic strategy here is desecration leading to destruction through compromise. Unfortunately I do not see any compromise in my Bible. I don't see where our God tells us to give one inch when it comes to His commands and His Word. We are to love, yes, but not through compromise. We display our love through obedience, not compromise:
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
This is going to be a very large stumbling stone for those who find themselves deeply tied into this world. Those who love this world and the things of this world will find it nigh impossible to overcome. What will happen when 'pastors' and entire church congregations give themselves over to this 'diversity and inclusion?' Go along with them? Wrong answer. Right answer=oppose all of them. Again, it will be a tough pill to swallow for many but it does help illustrate why our God told us this:
Matt 7:13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
and
Matt 7:21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I spent years in the churches and never heard this ^^ honestly preached. Not one single solitary time....Why not? Shouldn't these pastors be shouting it from the rooftops? No? No, because its bad for church attendance and therefore bad for the collection plate. It does not fit todays seeker sensitive church growth model so out the window it goes!
I submit to you that worldly diversity and inclusion has everything to do with destroying souls through compromise. Heaven will be perfectly diverse through obedience to our God's commands, not this world's 'diversity and inclusion:'
Rev 5:9And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
