Nothing Happened?

After the blood moons of 2014-2015 they said "nothing happened."  After the 'great American eclipse' of 2017 they said "nothing happened."  After the 40 day warning period that ended on Yom Kippur 2017, they told us "nothing happened."  And?  They were wrong.  What happened?  We were warned.  Over and over again the Spirit of the Lord has emphasized that we are to take the warnings seriously.  Instead, many choose to mock then go back to sleep.

What is coming on this world is unlike anything mankind has ever seen or experienced.....ever.

Dan 12:1And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. 4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Luke 21:25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Are men's hearts failing them for fear?  Not yet, but its coming.  This is the part too many people are not getting.  Too many are too quick to brush everything off and claim its time to go back to sleep.  That is a big mistake.  The Lord has spent a period of decades now (going back to the reformation of Israel and carrying on with the re-emergence of the Shemitah cycle to warn this world that what He promised, will be delivered.

The Lord God is not the author of empty words.  When He tells us something is going to happen, it is guaranteed, its going to happen.  He is also a God of perfect timing.  He does not warn out of season.  If we are seeing the warnings then we are "in season" for what is coming.  Look around, does it look like things are getting better to you?  No, things are getting demonstrably worse on every front.  The fabric of everything is tearing at the seams.  Unfortunately humans have a way or normalizing everything.  100 year floods, 100 year fires, 100 year droughts have all become every year events and we just blow it all off as the new normal. 

What is it going to take to get people's attention?  More pain, more suffering, more disaster, more death.  "Wow brother D, that's pretty strong do you have any evidence for that?"  Glad you asked:

The people we read about below have been getting pounded, yet what does the Lord tell us about them?

Rev 9:20  And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

When a storm is coming, the time to prepare your rain gear is before the storm arrives, not when the downpour soaks your head.  A storm is coming.  The signs that were placed in the sky for all of us to see were not put there by men, nor can they be faked so mankind cannot explain them away.  No, the signs we have all seen leave us without excuse.

What are we to do to prepare?  Fast.  Pray.  Stay in the Word.  You know, the same things He has told us to do for thousands of years.  Do those things.
