Remember September 9.1.2018

While it is possible, even probable that this month will pass without the Lord arriving for His Church, we were ordered to be always watching:

Luke 21:34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

This world and the people of this world are watching for a million things except for the unexpected return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church.  One of the most disturbing voices we hear today comes from those who call themselves believers.  We are hearing that it is "escapism" to not support Trump and "do something" by engaging in the corrupt political systems of this world.  Those voices who criticize an "escapist" mentality do not criticize men but the Lord God who clearly ordered us to pray for escape all these things that are about to happen:

36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

I was listening to a Trump rally recently and I heard a disturbing introduction by (I think) one of Trumps female family members who introduced him as "the savior of our nation."  That's a direct quote.  When I heard that the alarm bells really started going off.  People are so caught up in the Trump/deep state/globalist drama that they could be blindsided by the return of the Lord.

We were told very clearly to be watching for the Lord's return.  Watch, watch, watch was the command:

Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
There it is 3 times in short order for emphasis.  He is not telling us to watch for the deep state, the democrats, or the anti-Christ.  He is telling us to watch for Him.  Today, people are so caught up with the "cares of this life" that the unexpected arrival and departure of our Lord for His Church would occur with devastating impact.

What if the Lord does not come back for us this month?  We do what we have been doing in 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014 etc etc.  Anyone who has been involved in any kind of emergency service whether that be military, police etc can tell you that they train, train, train with exercises and simulated events that replicate the real event so they are ready when its time to deploy.  Guess what?  The Lord has set up this exact scenario for us with the Jewish Feast days that commemorate and prophetically foretell major events on His timeline.

Over the past two days that this writer has gone on high watch.  The thought was impressed "what if Trump is part of the great deception the Lord warned us about?"

2 Thess 2:6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Trump is no ones 'savior.'   Trump has a part to play and he is playing it.  It is incredibly disturbing to think about the implications of how many people are putting their hope in Trump while they discount the Lord's hand in orchestrating end time events.  What the Lord has done with Trump is put on full display how utterly corrupt the political systems of the United States and the world are.  Left and right, liberal and conservative have all morphed into one globalist, anti-Christ, monolithic cesspool of corruption.

"But isn't Trump exposing the corruption and fighting it."  Yes and yes but is that all he was sent to do?  Is there a deeper more complex Divine plan in play that we can barely wrap our heads around?  Yes that is possible and we need to consider those implications.

Now we have evidence that the plan is more complex and deeper than most of us realized as we hear that Trump is going to propose a peace plan for Israel.  Now I understand why the Spirit of the Lord told this writer not to vote.  Does this make Trump the anti-Christ.  Not necessarily.  First, the Lord gives us some specific descriptors of the anti-Christ.  One of those descriptors is here:

Dan 11:37  Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

This is one aspect of Trump that the media has actually been helpful with, we know that Trump likes his women.....

But if Trump is proposing the peace deal doesn't that make him the AC?  That's not necessarily what the Word says, lets read it again:

Dan 9:27 (YLT) And he hath strengthened a covenant with many -- one week, and in the midst of the week he causeth sacrifice and present to cease, and by the wing of abominations he is making desolate, even till the consummation, and that which is determined is poured on the desolate one.'

What this does not say ^^:

It does not say the person who proposes the covenant is the AC

It does not say the person who created the covenant is the AC

What it does say:

And he hath strengthened a covenant with many

So where does this ^^ leave us?  It leaves the door wide open to interpretation of what "strengthen a covenant" means.

One of the first thoughts the Spirit impressed this writer with when Trump was elected is the fact that he wrote the book called "The Art of the Deal."

And what larger deal could anyone in this world make than a middle east peace covenant/treaty?

Regardless of how you dissect it, the timing of all this is highly significant.  A proposed peace involving Israel on Sukkot after we were warned repeatedly in 2014-2015 on passover/sukkot (repeated twice=two witnesses), and by all current signs and signals should shake the most hardened skeptic.

But it should not take overwhelming evidence for those of us who believe to be watching for the Lord's return.  The slightest whisper that the Lord may be coming should have us standing and ready in expectation to meet Him.

Let the critics and skeptics rant and rave, that's what they do.  Let those who belong to this world continue to speak from the viewpoint of this world (there is no escape, jump into this world with both feet and stay firmly planted in this world).  But let those of us who are not of this world keep our eyes on the heavens where we expect redemption:

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

1 Peter 2:11 Beloved, I exhort you as aliens and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly desires, which war against the soul,

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
