Hebrews 12: 28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire."
As I posted last week, we live during a time when the people of the world are being "squeezed."
This squeezing is accomplishing two purposes. One, it is setting up those who take pleasure in unrighteousness for a HUGE fall. Two, it is shaking out everything in the believers life so that the only thing left to stand on is faith, which is a firm foundation to build on. We are called to a kingdom that cannot be shaken, which is what we all deeply want isn't it? The bible says, While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. Peace and safety is what people deeply long for, but they look in all the wrong places for it. So, let us be thankful, and so worship the Creator acceptably with reverence and awe. The sooner we stand on the firm foundation, the less need for shaking in our lives. Time is short, grace and peace
