The best way to prepare for the unexpected arrival of the Lord is to be doing our job on a day in and day out basis. At least part of our job is using all of our God given talents, skills and abilities per Matt 25 parable of the talents (using what you have been given) for the Kingdom of God. In addition to our talents, skills, abilities and being centered in His Will is the bond of love, or the wrapping up of everything we are and do with love per 1 Cor 13, and 1 John 3-4.
If we were to paint a word picture of what we are leveling up it would be with these words:
love
faithfulness
rejoicing
thanksgiving
praise
talents
skills
abilities
Love is first on the list for a reason but all the other words are interchangeable in importance. Love is the rope, the strap or the glue that binds all things together.
So, in our process of leveling up we add love in to perfect everything else we are doing. Without it, everything else we are doing, all our "good works" are dead as doornails (see 1 Cor 13 again for the details). The Lord God Holy Spirit is perfecting His people now, while we are on the earth in preparation for being caught up above the earth to meet our Lord Jesus Christ in the air.
We do not have to guess or predict about days or hours. There has been way way too much of that over the past few months. Its enough to know that the Lord's arrival could be any day. Our process must be sustainable. We must be able to sustain our patient pace toward the finish line (with endurance) in order to accommodate the patience of the Lord:
2 Peter 3:15
Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.
Heb 10:36
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
Rev 3:10
10Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.
Matt 25
1“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7“Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9“ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11“Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
12“But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
13“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
The wise virgins were ready for the Bridegroom to appear today, and they were prepared as part of their process-to wait as long as it takes for the Bridegroom to arrive in His own good perfect timing.
There is a love and mercy component to this patient waiting. The patience of the Lord means salvation for millions. The revival is ongoing but it is being missed by many in the dead and dying nicolaitan churches because the Lord is not limited to manmade organizations to accomplish all that He desires. We are seeing prayer meetings at the 50 yard line, in front of the cameras at college football games across the country. It is just one example of a broader revival that is underway, bypassing the nicolaitan/babylonian organizations created by man and suppressed/oppressed by demonic ideology and doctrine.
In case anyone thinks brother d has lost his marbles on this nicolaitan church idea, note that the Lord complains about it twice in Revelation saying He hates their practices. If the Lord hates the nicolaitan doctrines/practices so should we...Nico means conquer or victory over, laitan=laity or all the "common folk" non-pastor, non-priest types. In other words, the "lay people" which is never found in the Bible anywhere by the way, are to lay down and shut up while the so called "experts" lead and guide us to the promised land. Except that doctrine is antithetical to everything we read in the Bible. We, the "lay people" are to be out doing all the heavy lifting for the Kingdom. We are to walk like Jesus did, in signs, wonders and miracles-doing even greater things than He did by His own Will and desire as stated in His Word:
John 14
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Breaking the demonic shackles of the nicolaitan "lay person" doctrine is part of our leveling up process. The devil comes to kill, steal and destroy. The nicolaitan "lay person" doctrine kills, steals and destroys multiple areas of scripture that commands us to go forth and walk as Jesus did. Nothing whatsoever in the Bible, not one line anywhere even hints at believers being "lay people."
It is time to level up. Why hasn't the demonic doctrine of the Nicolaitans been exposed and destroyed sooner? The last book, or final chapter in the Book is Revelation or the revealing of things.
This process we are going through of leveling up into the very best versions of ourselves for the purpose of service to the Kingdom is tied into the Lord's impression on this servants heart that He has saved the best for last. The last version of you is to be the best. Our Lord would have us finish strong. So if we suspect our Lord may return for us soon, we should be about His business with an earnestness and a purpose.
We are dearly loved children.
