That didn't take long did it? Now I fully understand why the Lord has been telling me for years not to vote and why He specifically warned me not to vote for Trump. Tonight Trump launched anywhere from 50-70 tomahawk missiles against Syria. Whats the problem with that you ask? Russia. What happened to working things out with Russia? What happened to working together to destroy ISIS?

Did Trump repeal Obamacare? Nope. Is he going to cut taxes? Not anytime soon. Is he going to work on advancing America and leaving the world to its own problems? Nope.
Has he stemmed the tide of Islamic immigration into America? No. Does he talk a lot? Sure, that's what politicians do and all appearances point to Trump betraying America just like every politician before him.
So what? So it goes right back to what the Lord was saying before the election: Hillary or Trump, it does not matter. Both of them lead to the same exact place. No national repentance, and no national return to prayer and faithfulness guaranteed that Trumps "make America great again" was a lie. It does not surprise me that Trump has failed, what is surprising is how fast he failed. Is Trump really going to slow down the prophetic timeline or will he actually speed it up? He is in the process of betraying America, will he betray Israel next? Time will tell.
What is the good in all this? Trumps rapid unmasking as just another liar in chief is doing this world a favor. It goes to show every one of us that mankind and man's systems, political, religious and otherwise are doomed to failure. If peoples opinions of politicians was low before, just wait until Trumps time is up. For this very reason we, and our fathers before us have prayed:
"'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'"
You cannot solve spiritual problems with political solutions. It took roughly 4 months or so for the world to come face to face with this reality. "Vote for change" that all these pastors pushed on people, how is that working out? America has been betrayed and the betrayal is just beginning.
Should we continue to pray for Trump? Our Lord told us to pray for all those who are in authority (that even included Obama when he was in office) that we may live peaceful and quiet lives so yes we should continue to pray for him but I hope the smelling salts are waking the Lord's people up to what putting hope and faith in this world will get them. Our hope and faith are to be in our Father in heaven and in His Son our Lord Jesus Christ.
No what? Now this makes this year 2017 much more interesting. 70 years from the Balfour declaration and 50 years from the recapture of Jerusalem puts us in an interesting prophetic window. We should be watching for our Lord's unexpected return at any moment. That is what He told us to do repeatedly. Only a foolish virgin would refuse to obey a command that clear and simple.
Keep the faith. Trump is not going to make America great again, only a praying and repenting people could do that. The good that will come from this is some will shake loose of the illusions sold by this world. Great comes from God. No God= no great. Righteousness and faithfulness, truth and a return to morality could have made America great again but Trump was never the man to do it. When our Lord arrives, things will be set straight. Until then, hold on for a bumpy ride.
