May 11th

May 11 is the anniversary day of Noah going into the ark. We are told that the coming of the Son of man will be just like the days of Noah and Lot. Do I think the Lord will show up on Monday? I'm not waiting for Monday or any other day to be watching and ready for the return of our Lord, I am looking for him today.

The purpose days like May 11 and the feast days of the Lord serve is to remind us of what has been written, that's all. Men tend to forget and we are commanded to remember. Whatever you have to do to put a sticky note on your forehead or whatever else in order to remember what our God has said, thats what you need to do. I will take any and every opportunity to seize upon days I see within the words of the bible to remind myself and you that our God IS coming soon.

We were told that an escape from all is coming. We were told to remember Lot's wife. We were told to remember Noah. Noah went into the ark ON THE DAY it started raining. Who cares if he sat in the ark for 7 days or 40 days or 100 days after he went in? The fact that he WENT IN FIRST is the entire point. From inside the ark, he escaped the flood, and that was done FIRST. Lot walked out of Sodom BEFORE the fire and brimstone fell. We were given the stories of Noah AND Lot, not just one or the other, both have to fit the coming scenario. Noah escaped all the flood, Lot escaped all the fire and brimstone, and we WILL escape ALL the coming destruction as well.

That said, Jesus said we will have tribulation here on earth. Not "the" tribulation but general tribulation..trouble, trials, testing. Look back through history and that fact is not hard to see. Any of us with more than a few years under our belts understand that saying from our Lord well.

A look at what has been going on in the world gives me the strong impression that Satan has been trying to get out of his cage. I think the pig flu was intended to kill billions of us off but time after time Satan and his servants have been thwarted. The economy is in terminal decline. At this point nothing but the very hand of God could save this nations economy. We are basically floating on an economic cloud right now, there is no substance to it whatsoever, but due to all the hot air pumped into the cloud lately we still stay afloat..for today. The reason we have not seen utter and complete collapse yet, with all the destruction and hell on earth that will follow it, is because our God, not Satan, controls the timing of things...down to the second.

Our God has determined that satan cannot come out of his cage yet, the restrainer has not been taken out of the way yet, the days of Noah and Lot continue. Question is, for how long? We don't know, we don't really need to know. We are watching and ready daily. This is the only wise position to take. Those who are not watching and ready for the Lord to return today are fools. Do you remember the parable of the wise and foolish virgins? The wise were ready when their Lord showed up, the foolish ones were not. Anything complex about that? Its stated quite plainly yet we have legions of scoffers coming out of the woodwork telling us "Jesus can't return today!"

Well, we know that there are some pre-requisites to Jesus coming back and setting his feet down on the Mount of Olives, but the coming IN THE CLOUDS is not a return to earth, its a slight descent in the HEAVENS and therefore can happen NOW. The foolish virgins need to wake up...now. Jesus meant every word he said, there are no idle words in the bible. We were warned to remember lots wife. That's a warning for the wise virgins who are on their way out of "ground zero" for all hell to break loose.

We are warned, one will be taken , one will be left. "Where Lord" the disciples asked? "Where the body is." Where's the body? In heaven, specifically Rev 5. Who is being assembled/gathered to the body? The "aeros/eagles/etc" in other words, those who are "in the air" not on earth....1 Thessalonians 4:17... Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Paul specifically said that this harpazo/rapture event is A MYSTERY which is why so many people today don't "get it."

1 Corinthians 15:51 ... Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed

Combine that with the fact that the knowledge of the Holy One..ie really knowing the Lord is another must for understanding the word of God (because he IS the word) and you have all the misconceptions in the world today.

Men have their own agendas, they want to do things their way, and you wonder why people don't understand the Word? Men love their idols, their man made teachings, the love to love each other, to praise each other and tell one another how "smart" and educated they are. If degrees and seminary study could move you 1 inch closer to the truth mankind would have the bible all figured out by now, but they don't and there are "experts" with degrees all over their walls, calling themselves "scholars" and they are on opposing sides of every argument you could name relating to the bible.

We were told that the Holy Spirit, not some man made institution, or scholar, or "pastor" would lead us into all truth.

John 16:13
... Yet when the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. ... When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into the full truth.
John 14:17
... He is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor recognizes him. ... That helper is the Spirit of Truth.

The sometime within the balance of this year, we could see the Lord return for us. We have been commanded to be watching and ready...daily, not sometime later..NOW. Many are the fools who disregard this command to watch and be ready today. Many are the willfully disobedient who refuse to pray to be counted worthy to escape all. How foolish, thats the Lords word, not mine from the parable of the virgins.

One last comment then I'm done. The largest and scariest problem that the foolish virgins have today is not the fact that they did'nt go in to the marriage at the appointed time, their real problem is this:

Matt 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

I've said this before, people treat this whole escape/rapture thing as if its some minor division, minor disagreement and like everything else, they have miscalculated. I would say to you that if you are found outside the door, being told by Jesus "I know you not" then you have very very VERY big problems.

Matt 7: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Yea, I'd say that hearing from Jesus' own mouth that he does'nt know you is a big problem...

Be watching and ready daily, hourly, by the minute. If you hear a voice asking you "are you ready" or you find yourself hurlting through the air toward heaven, remember the warning, remember Lot's wife. Grace and peace
