Guess What? More on Faith..

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

This is more on faith and another body slam of the false gospel called OSAS-once saved always saved, the license to sin. Notice what it says above "but if any man draw back." There are no idle words used in the bible which means if the bible says "if a man draws back" that means he CAN DRAW BACK. Draw back? Yea, remember what a "de-cision" is from last weeks writing? De-cision means to CUT OFF from any other possibility, in other words, once real de-cision has occurred there is NO drawing back because that would mean a real de-cision was not made.

What happens to the person that "draws back?" Perdition...which means utter destruction, damnation, hell. How do we know if we've made a real de-cision? TIME tells us that. How? Answer below:

Hebrews 3:6
... But Christ as the Son in his own house: which house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and glory of hope unto the end.

Hebrews 3:14
... because we are the Messiah's partners only if we hold on to our original confidence to the end.

Isn't that common sense? How do you know who the winner of a race is if you don't continue watching it to the end? How do you know who wins a football game if you don't know the END result? How do you reach the END? Time. Yea, that means its not over until its over. When you are standing face to face with Jesus (one way or another) THEN its over. Until then, its still "game on." How ridiculous would it be for a rider at a horse race to stop running half way through the race and declare "I WIN!"

If you hold your original confidence to the end, then you win. Read it above straight from the bible. What does it take to hold our original confidence to the end? It takes real faith. It takes a DAILY de-cision to cutoff any other possibility from our hearts and minds that conflicts with our love and dedication to the King of Kings. To keep original confidence to the end you have to REALLY WANT what you are believing for. You have an attitude that says no matter what I will have this thing if it kills me in the process of getting it I am completely committed, no turning back. It takes that...DAILY. Give us this day our DAILY bread Lord, remember that one (Lord's prayer)?

Without faith its impossible to please the Lord. Without faith its impossible to believe unto salvation. When the Son of man returns will he have faith on earth? If you are doing all kinds of wonderful things for Jesus, but you are doing them without REAL FAITH, then guess what you are likely to hear when you stand before Jesus on that day?

Matt 21:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

In other words, "many wonderful works" alone won't get you into the kingdom. When you read here you know what you are going to see...continually aiming at the same targets..like WHY will so few make it through the small gate that leads to life (Matt 7:14). Why will Jesus tell so many "away from me I never knew you" after they list all they did for him?

Here's another scripture the OSAS crowd would like to erase from the bible:

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

"Work out" my salvation? Yea, you read it right thats what it says. With "fear and trembling?" RIGHT AGAIN! But wait "I wasn't given a spirit of fear!" See how easily they erase entire portions of scripture to their own damnation?

Work out your salvation with FEAR AND TREMBLING. That statement alone destroys the doctrine and theology of the majority of "churches" in America today. Why work out our salvation with "fear and trembling?" Go back and re-read Matt 7:14-28 and get back to me on that question. The cotton candy coated brand of babylonian churchianity will send many to hell. Statements like that are what got the prophets killed, you can understand why yes? The Lord sends his servants to confront this wicked world, especially the churches with their apostasy and wickedness and their natural reaction is "KILL HIM!"

Does that tell you where they are coming from and where they are in the spiritual order of things? How can you "work out" your salvation? You can start by keeping your first love first (Rev 2). Jesus first, everything else second. You can get on your face before the King of Kings and let his Spirit shine a floodlight on your insides to convict you of what needs to go and let you know what is pleasing. You can also hear directly from him as to what specifically His will for your life is. We are not a cookie cutter kingdom. He has specific things for each of us to do and how will you ever know those things if you don't know him INTIMATELY?

It takes FAITH to seek an unseen God day in and day out. He rewards those who diligently seek Him. The Lord has been on this topic of faith now for many weeks. Its one of those fundamentals without which your ship is sunk. There is coming a time when Satan and/or one of his demons or many of them will confront men visibly to their VERY FACE and ask "WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?" When that happens, when demons are visibly walking the earth, what will men need to stand for the kingdom? FAITH.

What will it take on days like today when Satan's servants attempt to steal your escape from all (Luke 21:36)? The number of people seems to grow daily attempting to steal people's hope of escape. What does it take to hold fast to a promise that you KNOW will be fulfilled to the letter enabling an escape FROM ALL when simultaneously being attacked on every side? It will take faith. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways and will receive NOTHING from the Lord:

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Satan knows his game well. He knows that all he has to do is create doubt to ensure a man gets NOTHING from the Lord. He sends people like the post-trib, pre-wrath crowd to create doubt in the promises. Could the Lord have been any clearer when he said escape from ALL that's about to happen? What does ALL mean? What does "about to happen" mean? Does "all" leave any room for going through "some" of what's about to happen? No, ALL removes all doubt.

The Lord makes very definitive statements throughout the bible. The promises are laid hold of by faith. I understand men who claim to be christians doubting the promise that some people will escape all. Their lack of faith does not enable them to lay hold of the promise. Their lack of faith will land them right in the middle of the time of Jacob's trouble. Without faith it is impossible to please the Lord.

Faith is the EVIDENCE of things not seen, the substance of it. Once a man has laid hold of something by faith, he has it, he owns it, its his. Such are the promises of God, they belong to those people who lay hold of them by faith.
