The year 2012 has satanic promises draped around it. The Mayans were satanists, they worshiped the devil and his demons. They offered him blood and he gave them his 'secrets.' 2012 appears to be a year that 'they' have marked with a deadline. 'They' want to get something accomplished this year. Question is not what they want or plan to do, the real question is what will the Lord allow them to do.
If you watch the signs around us, it appears the Lord has allowed them to develop their plan to a mature stage. Look at the economics in the world as an example of this. The signs in the heavens are the Lord's signs. We have seen Revelation 12 play out last fall, we are seeing sings in the sun moon and stars. These signs do not mean anything will happen on the day of the sign, they do mean that something will happen at some point.
Timing is the Lord's arena. We know that because we are told "no man knows the day or hour" of His return. The Bride does not know when the Bridegroom will call for her.
Satanic prophecies are actually satanic promises. People like the Mayans tell us what their spiritual masters have told them. Throughout history satan and his minions have attempted to setup their 'world order' and have failed (hitler, napolean etc). Reason? Restraint, the Restrainer. At what point will the Restrainer be removed? Time will tell. The Lord told us these days will require faith and patience. The wise virgins were prepared to wait. Signs come and go. Years come and go and things go on and we patiently wait and endure through them looking for the arrival of the Bridegroom.
When I hear people say they turned away from the faith because something did not happen on someday I remember the parable of the seed that fell on different kinds of ground. Only the seed that fell in good soil grew and continued to grow. The rest fell by the wayside.
We just had an annular eclipse, and life goes on business as usual, chances are the upcoming transit of venus and pentecost will be the same. They will come and go uneventfully. One of these days however, things will change radically. On one day and with no notice things will change radically. I expect that day to be one of the 'in between days' that has no special significance or signs attached to it. A day like today would fit that description perfectly.
The atheist and the 'other tribbers' enjoy every sign and signal that goes by without incidence. They think it proves something. What it proves is they will be caught off guard when the Bridegroom calls and they are found with no oil. They are not watching and therefore not ready for the Bridegroom to appear today. Something somewhere at sometime later things are supposed to happen according to them. How unfortunate.
The Lord has me reading through the books of Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Psalms lately. He has also instructed me repeatedly that patience, time, forbearance and long-suffering are what we should embrace today.
