The big thing this season is people claiming they have had "confirmations." Its over and over and over again. The disturbing thing about all these "confirmations" is this servant cannot find any "confirmations" in the Word of God that would "confirm" these people's confirmations.
Matt 24:36
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
What this servant can find in the Word of God is this ^^^. If the Lord comes back sometime soon, then we can confirm all the "confirmations" we have heard about on the internet. If not, then what? The servant who writes to you today walks with the Lord, and has seen many miracles over his lifetime, but in this season has had zero "confirmations" zero dreams and zero visions concerning the rapture. What does that mean? Next to nothing.
The Lord never told us to predict anything-He already did all that. What He did tell us over and over again is to be watching and be ready.
Matt 24
But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, f but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
45“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Now, without any "confirmations" regarding the Lord's return can we suspect it is close and even at the door? Yes:
Matt 16
1The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.
2He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ 3and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. a 4A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Jesus then left them and went away.
What is interesting here ^^^ is we have had the sign of Jonah, last year in the 24 Great American Eclipse X over America or cross roads. Also, much of this language takes place in Matt 24 (2024) and Matt 25 (2025). This year the Feast of Trumpets takes place in Sept 23,24 in 25 (2025).
Does this servant believe the Lord can and maybe will show up this season? Yes. What else does this servant believe? The Spirit of the Lord has impressed upon this servant that this Feast of Trumpets season is the beginning of something. In other words on Sept 25 the day after the Feast of Trumpets if all the mockers come out again as they do every year, their mocking and scoffing will be short lived. Why? Because we are closer than most people think. That could be today, it could be next week, it could be a few months from now. This particular Feast is the one the Lord gave Himself room to not have to do it on the exact day of the Feast (two days in this case). He told us it would be a day and hour we do not expect. Well, when everyone and their brother is expecting this Feast of Trumpets, maybe its a day or months after. We just do not know. We know He told us to be watching and ready for it which is why we have included this watching and readiness in our daily prayer target list.
We have to be watching and ready in season and out of season. Right now we are in season. We have to be ready to leave imminently, and we have to be ready to stay indefinitely. The wise virgins brought oil with their lamps because they were prepared to wait. They didnt know when the Bridegroom would show up and neither do we. We can look around at the world and know the signs of the times, its close. How close only the Lord knows.
All of this ^^^ means we do not get caught up in what the internet says. We get caught up in what the Word of God, love, faith and obedience says. These things will last an eternity while the stuff on the internet has a very short shelf life. We need to be prepared for whatever. Right now, as we are in season on high watch and alert-we expect the Lord's imminent arrival. As wise virgins, we are stocked up with oil and ready to wait however long it takes.
Our Lord's ways are eternal. One of the hallmarks of the end times is deception. Which is why we must stay firmly planted in the Word of God with our roots shooting deeper down into that soil every day. We are not looking for "confirmation" of the Lord's return from the internet. We do what we were told to do, how we were told to do it. So, if the Lord comes back today we can greet Him with a smile and say "Lord we have been expecting You!" Or that same conversation could take place a month or year from now. We dont know, we dont need to know. The signs of the times, we can read for ourselves.
Let us stay on the narrow road of the Word of God and check all the extraneous stuff at the door. Let us be prepared in season and out of season because as He told us, we do not know when He will return. It will be unexpected.
