Repent

I believe the Lord laid on my heart recently, a vision of sorts. Across the face of what calls itself Christianity today, people fill buildings that they call "churches" and lift their hands to sing along with the rock band or listen to the choir. Why is it that "church" buildings dot every corner of the American landscape and yet darkness (not light) prevails in the land? No repentance...

People lift their hands to praise the Lord. That is good. In fact, that is excellent. However, before the praise can be heard and acknowledged in its rightful place, there must first be repentance. Enter here the 'vision'/mental picture whatever that the Lord gave me recently of these groups inside buildings calling themselves "churches." Instead of singing, the picture was of all of them dressed in sackcloth and ashes, just like in the Old Testament, repenting for the tidal wave of sin and guilt that hangs so heavily over America and the world. What would happen if instead of people being "serviced" like an oil job performed on a car once or twice per week, people got down on their knees en mass in true heartfelt repentance for their sin, the sins of their communities, the sins of their nation, and the sins in the world? Forget the starbucks in one hand and the fake smile and wave of the hand greeting to the people you think you know "at" church (if we "are" the church how can we go to it, or be "at" it?). The churches need to try on repentance, tears, mourning and ashes. They need to weep and wail, express regret and true repentance before the door of the ark is shut and judgement falls like a hammer on this world.

Isaiah 30:15 This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.

To repent is to acknowledge you have done something wrong. A concept that is anathema to todays society and "church." Do the churches really think that all their "praise ministries" are heard on high with their complete and utter embargo of repentance?

The Lord Himself has said "these people worship me in vain."

Matthew 15:9

They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.

Have you ever stopped to consider the ramifications of that statement? This writer is fully persuaded that a time unlike any time this world has ever seen is on the way to the doorsteps of all who live on earth today. While it is called today, and the problems faced by mankind are "only" perpetual war, high prices and unemployment. Now would be a good time to get out the sackcloth and ashes. Now, while "good days" are still apparent to the masses of humanity. The time is coming, when everyone, from the greatest to the least will all acknowledge that the good times are gone.

This world is asleep. What can those who are awake do with the time remaining? They can repent. They can repent for themselves, their families, their country, the world. The sin and wickedness are so overwhelming that this writer believes we can best please the Lord today by acknowledging the sin burden this world carries, all caused by us. What is needed today is sackcloth and ashes type repentance, not lip service. We were created to please the Lord, period. What is it that we can do to please Him today? What is it this writer is hearing from the Lord? 1. Repent 2. Pray for souls to be brought into the kingdom. Start both 1 and 2 with the people around you every day and work your way out from there as the Lord leads.

Shifting gears here.....

Another topic that is slightly off base from what has been discussed earlier in this post is a possible coming prosperity just before this world gets slammed. Luke 21:36, Luke 17, and Matt 24 all speak of "eating and drinking" just before sudden destruction hits this world. Those words and the context in which they are used point to a time radically different from both today and the days of Rev 6+. The bible tells us While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.

And they......will not escape. But "we" are not "they" and "we" are told to pray for escape, are we not (Luke 21:34-36)?

The point here ^^ is that history is going nonlinear sometime in our future. Read the pages of Revelation to get an idea of what nonlinear life is going to look like. A short time of prosperity during days like today would have people singing in the streets. Its a perfect trap. Todays thinking has not prepared people to deal with what is coming. Most of what will happen will come unexpected, outside the parameters of linear thinking. A short time of prosperity that hits this world unexpectedly, along with a string of other seemingly unlikely and seemingly positive events that go with it could very well occur. This will be to the delight and surprise of many in the world. Think of what people would do if all the doom and gloom in the world today was to be "turned off" for a brief time. Think about how the emotions and thoughts of people would play out during that time. We know that if the short time of prosperity does come, delight will quickly turn to despair as "sudden destruction" replaces "peace and safety."

I do not know if we will see any of this ^^ but it is something that has crossed my mind repeatedly and it certainly fits within the framework of the future as described by our Lord in His Word.

The Narrow Gate

Matt 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Verse 14 says that only a few will find the gate leading to life. Why is that? Gosh I don't know, lets read verse 15...Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

You want to know why I am so disgusted with churchianity? Right there in verse 15, it's full of false prophets. They embrace with their whole hearts that which Jesus HATES, the practices of the nicolaitans. Verse 14 tells us only a few are going to make it, verse 15 tells us why (at least partially). Another reason only a few will make it into heaven: 2 Thess 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

This weekend I saw some friends that I have'nt seen in years. We started talking and I find out that they are card carrying members of apostianity now, so I started down the road of questioning why they do what they do, asking them what certain parts of the bible mean in relation to their religious practices, asking them what Jesus meant by nicolaitans in Rev 2-3. As you might imagine, they got hot under the collar, and quickly. They hold their pastor up in such esteem, you'd think he sits at the right hand of the father instead of Jesus. I'd call their feelings for their pastor so strong that they are ...............idolatrous. Yep. I find that quite frequently, in people who love the nicolaitan system. That in fact, is the stake in the heart of it, and why Jesus says he hates it, the SYSTEM causes idolatry. Speaking the truth, even in love is not going to make you friends, it might lose you quite a few though. Who cares, I don't. We serve the true Jesus, not men, come what may. grace and peace

See any similarities? I sure do.......so the perversion of so called churchianity is so pervasive, so sick it's mind boggling. Let's forget for a minute that today's apostate churchianity meets in their own towers of babel every wed/"SUN"day (sun worship anyone?) And let's ponder this sick (but subtle idea) of "going to church"

HOW CAN I "GO TO CHURCH?"

How can I “go to church” or "attend" church?- The Bible says that the body of Christ is the church, and we are that body. In other words, we cannot "go to church" because we believers who are in Christ, we ARE the church. The church is not a building, nor is it a geographical location to be "attended". Wherever true believers are together, whether at a lunch table, or a movie theater, there the church is. Think about it, if I say that I "go" to church on Sunday, then that means I am "away" from the church for the rest of the week. This sinister idea has been perpetuated for generations now. We are the church, we don't "go" there. When we are with other true believers, the church is assembled. When we are alone, the church is dispersed, but we are the church whether we are alone or assembled. This is why the bible says do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together. This is a fundamental problem, and it is not trivial. There are many subtle, nefarious implications in the statement “I go to church”. To say this implies that a person is either “at church” or “away from church” both statements are incorrect, the bible says WE ARE THE CHURCH. This statement and similar statements like “which church do you attend?” are an invisible iron shackle to make people feel that they are not part of the church unless they are “in attendance” -this is serious error. If churchianity can get people to believe that they are either "at" church, or "away" from church, then they can get the herded masses of human cattle to come back weekly to be "serviced" at the 9am, or 11 am , or noon etc sunday "service". If we are in Christ 24/7, then we are in his body 24/7 and we are therefore the church ALL THE TIME-24 hours a day/7 days a week. An idolatrous mind has perpetuated this subtle lie to shackle mankind to institutions where their pocketbooks can be fleeced with a “tithe”, their minds can be poisoned with a false gospel while they are led to false christs by a religious system that causes idol worship of men, buildings, and religious systems. This is the work of the enemy.

1Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess. 2He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God's house. 3Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. 4For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. 5Moses was faithful as a servant in all God's house, testifying to what would be said in the future. 6But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast. How can I "go to myself?"

The serpent is subtle, so are his servants (the wolves) within the great whore. The men who advance the doctrines of devils, these nicolaitan idolaters will pay DEARLY for the sheep they've led to the slaughter. Let me quote the Master:

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

THEY WILL MAKE "MERCHANDISE" OF YOU....you are nothing more than a way of generating income for these wolves.....

2 Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Does it matter that your nicolaitan preachers appear to "mean well" or appear "well intentioned" if they perpetuate a lie and deliver a men's souls to perdition?

Let me ask you this, is there any difference between a man who slips a lethal dose of poison into your meal and kills you instantly or a man who poisons you a little every day and kills you over an extended period? THEY ARE BOTH MURDERERS. Why does Jesus absolutely HATE what the Nicolaitans do?

EVERYTHING about apostate churchianity is corrupt, EVERYTHING from the ground up is absolutely ROTTEN. Don't take my word for it, read the testimonies of those who are leaving it EVERY DAY in utter disgust. Read the testimonies of those who felt so alone, and unloved who show up with a rifle and start gunning people down. Return to your creator, pick up a bible that you can understand and start reading it, REPENT, purify your minds. Trying to stay clean in a mudpuddle is an impossible task, trying to remain a chaste bride while in a whorehouse (apostate churchianity) is an impossible task, COME OUT OF HER.....
