M6.9 Earthquake: Alaska

Let's just call it a 7.0.  They have been playing rounding games to shade these quakes just under what they really are.

It's the end of September or close to it and we are in the window to see the next large quake sometime in the time neighborhood of 10/11 which is the orbital mirror of the twin megaquakes we saw on 4/11 of this year.  The later after 10/11 the next large quake is the closer the destroyer is, at least that is my understanding of how this works.

Why does this servant constantly write about earthquakes?  The Master has drawn his attention there.  Where in the Word do we see the Lord's confirmation that this line of thinking is relevant to us who believe?  Many places.  Here's a sample for today:

Men will flee to caves in the rocks and to holes in the ground from dread of the
LORD and the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to shake the earth

Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place
at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger.

that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it?

Ezekiel 38:20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

... The LORD's voice will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem, and the heavens
and the earth will shake.

And there is so much more.  Do a word search for the word earthquake in the bible.  The shaking of the earth which by definition is "earthquake" is a sign from the Lord.  We don't need to add that rivers turning to blood around the world this year are also a sign.  These signs give us no indication of when things will happen, but they certainly signal what is to happen.  Let those of us who have eyes to see and ears that hear understand what the Master is saying to us today.

What is the Lord's counsel to this servant over the past couple weeks?  The same as it has been.  Be patient, be faithful, watch and be ready.  Time itself is a major part of our test in these last days.  Who will be patient enough and faithful enough to wait for the Lord until He arrives?  That's the question we must answer for ourselves.

How long do we watch and wait?  Until He arrives for us.  An escape has been promised.  What it is exactly, how it actually happens, when it happens etc are all in the hands of the Lord.  Noah escaped the flood in an ark.  Lot was escorted out of Sodom by angels.  Luke 21:36 tells us to be watching ALWAYS and pray that we may be counted worthy to escape all of whats about to happen and stand before the Son of Man.  Revelation 3:10 tells us that those who keep the Word of the Lord's patience will be kept from the hour of trial thats about to come upon all those who are  upon the face of the earth.

The Lord is faithful.  What He promised He will surely deliver.  We must hold in by faith with great patience and endurance.  Only the Lord knows how short time really is.  We see signs all around us but we have been seeing signs now for years.  At any time in the twinkling of an eye everything could change and our wait could be over.

What has the Lord drawn this servants attention to this week?  This:

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope.

Wait for the LORD and keep his way. ... Wait with hope for the LORD, and follow
his path, and he will honor you by giving you the land.

Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly
wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.

... And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from
the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him

... as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of
a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God

And these are just a sample of many places in the Word where our Lord has instructed us to wait and be patient.  Of this I am sure, we will not be disappointed when we pass this test.

Hold on, that is this servants encouragement for you today which he has received from the Lord.  Do not be discouraged or dismayed.  The enemy has been sending out his false signals and signs and everything else he can do to pull us or push us or in anyway shake us from our firm foundation that is in Christ Jesus.

If you are weak ask the Lord for strength, if you lack faith ask the Lord for more faith.  Ask, seek, knock and the door will be opened.

May the grace and peace of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
