The Destroyer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxy8Zu4asCM&feature=player_embedded

As we have seen from recent posts here the Lord comes with earthquakes.  The destroyer is inbound at the same time as the Lord.  What do I mean?  I am not talking about the second coming (a common mistake).  The Lord is descending to the clouds

1 Thessalonians 4:17
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together
with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

,that is not His second coming.  We know from the Word that destruction and deliverance happen on the same day.  Our examples that prove this are given by the Lord Himself:

Luke 17:26Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28“It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30“It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. 31On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. 32Remember Lot’s wife! 33Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. 34I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.d
37“Where, Lord?” they asked.
He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”

When Noah escaped all the tribulation of his day in the ark, the same day destruction swept away the wicked.  When Lot escaped all the fire and brimstone tribulation of his day, fire destruction fell on the same day.  So it will be in the days of the Son of Man.

The stories of Noah and Lot also illustrate how the Lord uses the creation to destroy the creation.  These days if Noah's flood were to occur the 'scientists' and 'experts' would blame it on global warming or some other nonsense, anything but give credit to the Word for the fulfillment of prophesy.

A destroyer is coming.  The proof is irrefutable.  This year (this week!) the pattern of 7.0 or greater quakes looks like a stack of pancakes on a time line.  Not only has earthquake activity gone through the roof, also do a google search for "animal deaths august 2012" and see that animals of every size shape and form are dieing en masse.

What does a destroyer bring?  Death and destruction.  People can call it whatever they want, the name does not change the effect.  Mass animal deaths have been happening now for 2 maybe 3 years and they are intensifying while the mainstream media keeps the people asleep with irrelevant rubbish.  The quakes we have seen this week have all been large enough to level any large city, but this world was spared that (for now).  The large quakes struck where there was little to no impact.
That is called mercy and warning.

The twin 8.+ quakes that struck in the spring are our marker for the fall.  Add 6 months to April 11, 2012 (when the massive twin quakes rocked the earth) and you get October 11.  October 11 is not a specific day that more quakes will happen, it is the center of a general window in time to be watching for the next large quake.  Add a couple weeks before and after Oct 11 and that is likely the time we will see another big one.  The caveat to that is the spring quakes changed from March 11, 2011 (Japan 9.0) to April 11, 2012 (twin 8+ quakes).  That is a one month window.

If we saw no more quakes at all this year, this weeks activity coupled with the previous year's activity would be proof enough that the destroyer is inbound.

Why write about this here?  The Lord is coming.  And?  We must be prepared to meet Him.  What do you mean?  The gate that leads to life is narrow and few will go through it (Matt 7:13-14).  There is a worthiness factor to escaping all that is about to happen (Luke 31:36).  We must not take the Word lightly.  If the Lord said we must be holy then we must be holy.  If He said we must have faith then we must have faith.  If He said we must repent then we must repent.  Repent, seek the Lord, wash ourselves in the Word, be faithful, be watching, be patient.  Remain "in Him."

Why will so few be saved (Matt 7:13-14)?  Look around today at all the people who take the Word lightly.  They treat the wounds of the people as though they were not serious:

... They treat my people's wounds as though they were not serious, saying, 'Everything is alright! Everything is alright!' But it's not alright.

The Lord said that few will be saved, those are His Words.  Where are the people today who take these Words seriously?  Where are the people who will stop to ask why?  Why will so few be saved?  Should this make us fearful?  Somewhat, yes.  Its called the fear of the Lord.

And he said to man, 'The fear of the Lord--that is wisdom, and to shun evil is
understanding.'"

Because we have the fear of the Lord does that mean we cower in a corner and throw our hands in the air in distress?  No, it means we fight through our fears and our sufferings and our trials and tribulations.  Those who will not fight (this spiritual fight) will not make it.  Proof?

Rev 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Matt 11:12 From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.

2 Tim 2:3 Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

"Good soldier" are the Lord's Words not mine.  My life has been spent in and around the world of soldiers.  Soldiers know how to patiently suffer and they know how to fight.  Our fight is not carnal, nor are our weapons carnal.  Our fight and weapons are spiritual.

This brother would like to encourage you today to renew your commitment to do whatever it takes to make it through the narrow gate that leads to life.  Yes, you can do it.  On our own this is impossible but we are not on our own.  We have been given a Helper.

John 15:26 But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but
not with God; all things are possible with God."

You don't have to figure everything out and you do not have to be a rocket scientist PhD Bible scholar.  You have to be like a little child.

... I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn't receive the Kingdom
of God like a child will never enter it."

Can you do this?  Yes, you can.

We must be patient.  This is the Lord's Word to us in the final days.  Satan and those who serve him are throwing every form of deception our way.  He is trying to get us excitable to pry us from our faith.  He is a master of deception and his servants appear to us as servants of light (so called Christians).

The parable of the virgins tells us to bring oil enough to be able to wait for the Bridegroom.  Rev 3 tells us those who keep the Word of His patience will be kept from the trial that will come upon all those on the face of the earth.

Luke 21 tells us that we possess our souls through our patience:

... In your patience possess ye your souls.

Do you think that with all these Words on patience our Lord might have known our patience would be tested in these last days?

If there is one overriding theme that stands out in this brother's mind as a message from the Lord today it would be our need to be patient.  The enemy is advertising 2012 as his latest ploy to shake us.  When 'nothing' but the usual large earthquakes and mass animal deaths (been happening for years) happens people will be shaken, and who will hold on?

The Lord will appear suddenly for us and He could do so any day.  We know He is coming but we do not know when so we watch in readiness every day.  While we do this we embrace our  suffering as an expected part of our daily walk.

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering,
as though something strange were happening to you

That's all I have been given to give to you today.  Keep the faith.

May the grace and peace of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with us all.
