An Encouragement To Pray

The Spirit of the Lord would have this servant pass a message on to you:  pray.  Pray about all things at all times.

Mark 11:23

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

Yes, we know we need to pray but today's encouragement comes from the answer side of prayer.  People look around at the world and ask "what can I do about (fill in the blank here)?"  There is always something a believer can do about any and every situation under the sun.  We can pray.

Mark 11:24

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Now is the time for real Christianity to shine.  We are surrounded by fakes, frauds and imposters of every kind but they are irrelevant.  A person who really believes, really gets answers.  This nobody who writes to you today must encourage you to pray and expect answers.  The testimony of this nobody is that the Lord God is answering prayer each and every day.

There is always something we can do.  Mountains can, will and already have moved before our eyes.  The enemy can corrupt the entire world but cannot corrupt the Lord God or His answers to prayer.  What men refuse to do the Lord God Himself can and will do.  A good example of this is the settling of accounts that will take place.  Good luck trying to find a just judge in today's world but the best selling Book in world history already told us how that plays out:

Luke 18

1And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. 2He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. 3And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ 4For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” 6And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. 7And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? 8I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

Fauci, Bill Gates, George Soros etc etc these men will have nowhere to hide when it is time to settle accounts:

Rev 6

12When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, 13and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. 14The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. 15Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slaved and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, 16calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

The Lord God wants us to pray and we are to expect answers.  If something like food, water, electricity, gas/diesel, internet availability/supplies weighs on your mind then pray about it.  No detail is too small or too large pray about all of it.  This servant would encourage you to use a spreadsheet or go old school and write out a list on sheets of paper.  When something to pray about enters your mind write it down, then hammer the requests with infinite patience and persistence and watch what happens.  The Lord our God is very good.

The Lord our God is busy working and He wants us to join in this work through labor in prayer.  Pray about everything.  While we do this praying do not forget to gift wrap each prayer with rejoicing and thanksgiving:

1 Thessalonians 5

16Rejoice always, 17pray without ceasing, 18give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

^^ This right here is the counsel of the Lord for us for the year 2023 (as it has been received by this servant).  This post was written to encourage you the saints to continue doing what our Master told us to do.  Glory to God.

Grace and peace
