2 more days of Hanukkah 2025, and 318 days until the midterm elections. The fall of each year seems like a great time for the Lord to return unexpectedly, but He reserves the right to come back at any time on any day. We are not talking about the "second coming" but rather the unexpected return of the Lord that is so secret that not even our Lord Jesus Christ knows when it will take place.
Matt 24:36
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
If the Lord Father wants it to be a surprise to everyone, you can bet its going to be a surprise. That said, we are still in the prime time window for this year over the next two or so days. What happens after that? We continue to watch in prayer. We continue our readiness through service and preparation for His return. We can do this, and we will do this for as long as it takes or until the Lord God "graduates" us off this earth. While we are here we continue to do our job. We have been empowered with a unique set of talents, skills and abilities to serve our King on this earth. We are to level that skill set up into its highest, best form.
The most important thing is love. And these three remain: faith, hope and love but the greatest of these is love. This is how we finish. Faith is super important as is hope but love sits at the top. We bind everything else together with it. Love is the glue that holds everything together. It is also the final ingredient in our recipe for success. It is at the beginning and end of everything we do. Love is the dividing line between us and those who hate us. We love and pray for our enemies, "they" hate. We see this with the purple haired fanatics on the left screaming at the world with the veins popping out of their necks full of hate. They call it love but their "love" is really hate.
Nobody gets into Heaven without love. Our God told us He is love:
1 John 4
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 17This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 18There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
We are to align, and agree with Him in that ^^^ love. If the Lord tarries we are headed into the midterms 2026. This servant believes the Lord has provided a roadmap for the journey ahead. We are to pray for the great spiritual awakening of 2026 and repentance and revival within the Church. This lays the spiritual groundwork for further restraint of the enemy until the time of Jacob's trouble.
Yes, everything the Lord said would happen, will happen. The million dollar question is not "if" its "when?" We know according to the book of Ecclesiastes there is a time and a season for everything. For now, we sit at another cross roads. The stage is set for the Lord to come back at any moment while at the same time He holds out the possibility of more Restraint over the enemy so more souls can be saved in this age of grace. We must be ready for whatever. We are ready to stay and ready to go at a moments notice. We maintain this watchfulness and readiness through intention and preparation in prayer.
