This time of year we remember the love our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ has for us. Our Lord Father sent His only Son our Lord Jesus Christ to die for us. An important distinction here is our Lord Jesus Christ did not die for some faceless, nameless mob. He died for you personally. The Lord God has abilities mortals do not have. A day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day. What that means is time is relative to Him. What does that mean in the context of Him dying for us? It means on that day that He died for us time slowed down and was like a thousand years. Why? What for? Being God, He was able to see each and every one of us by name. He saw every wicked, terrible, evil thing each of us would ever do, and then-only then in love and mercy He decided to die for us. Think about that.
In love and mercy our Lord died for us so that we will live for Him.
We have talked extensively about leveling up into the highest/best version of ourselves. The very top level is where faith, hope and love live. We have been called up to the mountain top. Our Lord would have us living, eating, breathing faith, hope and love at all times, in every circumstance. That means, yes-especially when times get tough and we face adversity.
As we move into 2026, the road ahead is one of awakening, repentance and revival. The road ahead has signposts along the way that say "faith," hope," and "love." Thats how we know we are headed in the right direction is those signposts. We travel along the road ahead in the center of our Lord's Will for our lives. We travel while continually pressing upward on our talents, skills and abilities. We live in a never ending process of improvement for the sake of our great King and the Kingdom we all belong to.
We are being called higher in every way imaginable. One day we will literally be taken higher, snatched out of this world by our Lord. Until then, we climb the mountain-higher and higher every day. Held out before us is a hope and a future. Yes, this world is headed for trouble but they are to see the light of our faces and our countenance radiating the light and life of our Lord Jesus Christ so they can ask us "how do I get some of that?" An ark of safety has been provided for us. Nobody in the history of the Church, not one single soul up through this very day ever went through "the" tribulation and neither will those today who watch and pray for the escape promised to us.
While we remain here we have a job to do. We hold out life and light to a dying world. We step aside and let our Lord shine through us. We offer ourselves to our Lord as living sacrifices day by day so the world can see our Lord in us, and through our jars of clay.
Our Lord would have us encouraged today. He loved us enough to die for us by name. His Will for us is to finish strong. So let us run this race with endurance while we are still here on the face of the earth. Lets finish in faith, hope, and love.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 💕
