1 Peter 4:7
The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.
Sober: 1. not drunk 2. marked by sedate or gravely or earnestly thoughtful character or demeanor
The Lord would have us in our right mind, gravely, earnestly thoughtful in our minds so we can pray. Why? Prayer calls in the calvary. Prayer changes things, alters things. We have to be able to think thoughtfully, deeply and carefully so we can call in what we need. This ^^^ brings us back to the roads set before us leading into 2026. This servant believes there are 3 distinct possibilities before us: 1. The rapture/harpazo of the Church, 2. The great awakening of the population, and repentance/revival in the Church, and 3. the alternative to #2. which you can imagine is not good.
While we are here on this earth we are to be active participants in the restraint on the spirit of anti-Christ that is our Biblical mandate per Matt 5:
13“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
and 2 Thess 2:7
For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.
Salt restrains rot and decay and light restrains darkness. We do this together with Him, in Him, and through Him as He lives in us. Therefore it is no mystery that when Holy Spirit filled individuals around the world (the Church) are pulled out of the earth-restraint is removed. Today, the Church is on the earth which means we have a job to do.
The Lord God has provided a mission and a vision for the immediate term future out to the mid-term elections. This vision and mission is not about politics as much as it is about the Church doing its job on earth. One of the big ticket items on the prayer target list is eradicating communism from the face of the earth. Venezuela is a communist nation, who under the Trump administration is under pressure. China is another and they have pressure coming down on them as well. North Korea we dont read about much but their communist dictatorship must be cracked open like a clam shell. Why?
Matt 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
North Korea has about 1% of its population exposed to the gospel because open evangelism is impossible. Now, re-read Matt 24:14 and tell me who wins, the Word of Almighty God or the communists in North Korea? Its not just North Korea, its all of the communist nations and the fall of communism is just one of many prayer targets we are to engage daily in prayer.
When hitting a boulder with a hammer, initially it seems like nothing will ever happen but under the surface microfractures are being formed which when developed will crumble the entire rock. Just because initially we see no apparent results does not mean "nothing is happening."

Eph 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
The enemy has been on a rampage for decades but this servants understanding is now is the time of counter-attack. We know that we are in the midst of a large scale war that our Lord and Kingdom win in the end, however in between there are battles that go back and forth. The answer to "why?" and "why now?" have not been provided explicitly to this servant however we can figure out some of it based on what the Lord already told us (like Matt 24 vs. Communism and North Korea).
There is no time to kick our heels up on the table in apathy and complacency. There is alot of work to be done with the short time we have left before our Lord returns. How long that time is, only the Father knows. What we know is there is alot of work to be done and we have been given everything we need to do that work. We have also been instructed in how to do that work. We are to do it with excellence, as the highest/best versions of ourselves. We are to bring our "A-game" to this fight. And we do it all standing hand in Hand with Him and each other. He never told us to do it all alone.
Its kind of exciting to think about the possibilities ahead. Our eyes and focus need to be on our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the solution to our problems-one way or another. Most if not all of the answers to the prayer targets will require miracles which again means the Lord has to do the heavy lifting. While that is true, we have to do our part. He expects us to learn and grow as we do this stuff together. Tackling big problems is our basic training for an eternity with Him.
He has provided us with a hope and a future:
Jer 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
We just have to put one foot in front of the other and walk into it with Him.
