It is a matter of the Lord's righteousness and His justice that before the hell on earth that will be the tribulation and the cup of His wrath is poured out, the cup of this world's iniquities must be filled first. Here is an example of what we are talking about:
Gen 15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
The point we really want to see here is that as this world and its wickedness and sin appears to explode (and it is), this is not something that is going un-noticed by the Most High God. There is a "fullness" to the iniquity of this world that equates to the fullness of the cup of wrath that will be poured out on them. To get a sense of the balance (and Divine justice of it all) consider this. Look at the writings of the prophets and the book of Revelation for an idea of how bad this earth and its inhabitants are going to be pummeled:
Rev 6:7And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

This ^^^ punishment is quite severe. How can punishment this severe be justified (justice)? It is justified by an equal measure of iniquity (what we are seeing around us day in and day out, and getting worse by the day.

What is happening is the acceleration of wickedness is filling up the cup faster and faster leading to a shortening of time left before the cup is full and begins to overflow, leading to this (the cup of wrath being poured out):

So...we can begin to understand the big picture of what is going on in our world. As we watch gay pride parades and sexual deviancy of every kind, corruption in every level of government around the world, 99% of big business who cater to the anti-Christ globalist agenda, persecution of everything Christian etc, it is all being measured and stored up.
This serves a purpose of giving us an indication that time is indeed short. As the measure of this world's wickedness goes vertical, the cup fill up faster bringing us closer to the retribution that is the cup of the Lord's wrath that will 100% certainly be poured out on this world as guaranteed by the Word of God. All of this also brings into focus another promise from the Word of God:
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
^^ This is merciful as is this last days eye opening revelation we are seeing every day as one after one more revelations come out displaying for all of us how corrupt and wicked this world has become. Trump (in part) was brought in 1. as a wrecking ball and 2. as a illumination flare to show us without any doubt whatsoever how this world is setting itself up against the Most High God and His people.
