I've noticed that CNN has really been doing its part to spread the misery around. Today the headline story is how the suicide hotlines are ringing off the hook. Yesterday the headline was about the guy in California that shot his entire family then himself after getting laid off. The media could report with a positive spin on things if they wanted to, but they don't want to...why not?
There's no question in my mind, because I've seen mountains of evidence, that the lamestream media is nothing more than a propaganda arm of the ultra rich in this world. The ultra rich also happen to be the ones pushing for the new satanic 'age of aquarius.' Fear, depression, and hopelessness are all being pumped out like sewage all over the world's population these days with the goal in mind of getting people so desperate, so on their knees, that when the man of sin makes his grand entrance, they'll be lapping at his feet for whatever scraps he decides to give them.
We have two choices, just like Peter did when he was walking on water with Jesus, we can give our attention to the storm or our Savior. If we give ourselves over to the storm by giving it all our attention, we will sink under the waves. Jesus will ask us like he asked Peter "why did you doubt?" A recurring theme this week (in my mind) has been that of testing. The pre-tribulation storm we are seeing is testing everyone to determine where people stand. Our faith is being tried today, how much more will it be tried in the days ahead? Without our faith we have nothing, absolutely nothing, which is why satan and his minions go after it with a vengeance. They love to ask "where is your God now?" If we do not stand on our faith we will not stand at all. Remember that our feelings are traitors. Our feelings and our faith are two seperate entities. It does'nt matter what you 'feel' what matters is what you really believe, which is what you have faith in.
Here are some promises I have tried and tested to be worth more than gold:
Psalm 37
3 Hope in the Lord, and do good; and dwell on the land, and thou shalt be fed with the wealth of it. 4 Delight thyself in the Lord; and he shall grant thee the requests of thine heart. 5 Disclose thy way to the Lord, and hope in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
16 A little is better to the righteous than abundant wealth of sinners. 17 For the arms of sinners shall be broken; but the Lord supports the righteous.
18 The Lord knows the ways of the perfect; and their inheritance shall be for ever. 19 They shall not be ashamed in an evil time; and in days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20 For the sinners shall perish; and the enemies of the Lord at the moment of their being honoured and exalted have utterly vanished like smoke.
23 The steps of a man are rightly ordered by the Lord: and he will take pleasure in his way. 24 When he falls, he shall not be ruined: for the Lord supports his hand.
39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord; and he is their defender in the time of affliction. 40 And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: and he shall rescue them from sinners, and save them, because they have hoped in him.
The entire Psalm is a gem. These days we need to ingest the promises, not the problems. I keep my eyes on the problems in the world without being disturbed because I know the promises are more real to me than the problems are. At this point I am absolutely confident that the Lord will miraculously provide for those who belong to him as long as they continue to believe....why should we fear? We should fear God alone.
Shifting gears...
There are things about Obama that make me think he is not the 'man of sin.' Although he is widely viewed as a saviour, I've still heard lots and lots of people who think this guy is pathetic. They certainly are'nt standing in awe of him as it appears people will stand in awe of the anti-christ. Maybe its too early, after all, Obama was only recently sworn in, he has yet to show the world more than words. We should know soon enough whether Obama is just another Bush with a (D) by his name, or whether we see actions that warrant our further consideration of him as more than a run of the mill politician/crook.
Another thing that leads me to believe he's not the one is all the evidence surrounding the british aristocracy that something really satanic is brewing over there. The royal seal of prince charles is pretty much a verbatim match with the desription of the anti-christ to come. Read "anti-christ and a cup of tea" for details on that one. With that said, America is so intertwined with Britain on so many levels its hard to say how exactly we'll see the man of sin come out of it. If America is the last days Babylon, what does that make America's mother (Britain)? I don't know. It all turns to spaghetti the more you look at these things.
The moral of todays story is this: our faith is what we need to hang onto at all costs. Satan loves to ask "where is your God now" right while you are in the midst of trying times. Our faith is being tested. I know where my God is....inside of me. We are the temples of the Holy Spirit and satan absolutely despises us for it.
It looks like the timeframe between today and the end of 2012 will be a window to press our faces up against the looking glass separating us from the tribulation. We could escape today, or it may be a couple more years, who knows. What I do know is the events we see around us today cannot continue spiraling out of control the way they are today for much longer. How many more months in a row can 500,000 people lose their jobs before people are rioting in the streets? That rioting is already taking place in at least 5 other countries around the world, but that's kept on the "down-low" by the lame stream media. Obama was right, change is coming, its just not the change that people expect.
The bible is full of spiritual food and medicine, get in it today. Stay in it until your burden is lifted. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. When you are in the presence of the Almighty, you know that you know that you know that you are sure, that you are positive you have nothing to worry about.
Trust in him and watch how you come through every trial with victory and thanks on your lips. That has been my life story, many trials, but deliverance from them all. I am nothing, a nobody, so how much more will he do for you? Keep the faith no matter what the cost. I'm telling you, we believe in a very real and powerful God. His tender mercies and loving kindness are worth more than all the riches of this world. Remain in him, grace and peace
